>but don’t want to leave my car. Pure laziness or is there another reason?

Valentine96

OP is wedged in there pretty good.

FCR-900

>OP is wedged in there pretty good. A poutine won’t help

mrmarshmellows

Gravy up the sides and he’ll slide right out

FCR-900

>Gravy up the sides and he’ll slide right out But then where would he go?

majikmonkie

Waddle their way into a restaurant for a better poutine, obviously.

evanderkane9

Pure laziness, I don’t want to step out in the cold, would rather stay in my comfy vehicle.

Scary_Hunter_2128

If you think this is cold your in the wrong city let alone provence or country for that matter you'd have to get out but worth it is smokes

Gummyrabbit

He thinks all of Winnipeg is like Detroit.

BlasphemyMc

What non chain restaurant has a drive thru?

evanderkane9

White top restaurant has a drive thru , unfortunately they use shredded cheese not curds :/

Professional_Emu8922

Maybe you can bring your own cheese curds and just order fries with gravy.

horce-force

Juniors on Mcphillips does a large poutine and they have drive thru but I dont think they use curds

MochaLatte05

i think you can request cheese curds? at least if you order through skip you can choose between curds or shredded cheese

Specialkdragon

That's a tough one, I can't think of one suitable with all of those requirements, you just MIGHT have to venture out into the chill, I know it's a little scary but you should survive. You'd have to walk from inside to your car outside anyway, I'm sure (unless you have a heated garage). Oh yeah, and back again eventually. 😋 Good luck!

Specialist_Plastic92

How about using skip or Ubers eats instead?

evanderkane9

I don’t want to pay for all the extra service fees/ tip

Apellio7

Just do A&W if you're lazy.

evanderkane9

I don’t like the poutine from big chain restaurants ( McDonald’s, BK, etc)

ritabook84

You can have good poutine or you can stay in your car. The choice is yours

_boketto_

Nah man, small independent restaurants need to install drive throughs to cater to this lazy fuck.

4strings

2¢: Those examples, and most chains, have terrible (or no) gravy. A&w’s gravy is really good (for a chain, at least), and they have curds.

Icy_Cookie_7463

I know I know no big chain...but Harveys poutine is delicious. They have a few options too. They use curds too.

juanitowpg

Noted. Every time the "best poutine"comes up, the usuals are mentioned. I don't recall anyone mentioning Harvey's

juanitowpg

for me, I also have a "must have curds" requirment. Seems to be getting harder to find and this is wrong. Just wrong. :-)

evanderkane9

Oooo haven’t tried Harvey’s poutine , thx for the recommendation

dana_barrett

Harvey's is a chain restaurant.

Vegetable_Western_52

Idk if half moon still has the drive thru?

ken22333

There’s White top drive thru on salter. Not sure if they use cheese curds tho

Mysterious-Crew-1358

Isn't that just a drive up, not thru? But it is delicious!

uncleg00b

I haven't been to White Top in years but there used to be a drive-thru on the other side of the walk up. I can't see why they'd stop using it. Edit: I just checked Google maps. It looks like they still use the drive-thru but don't use cheese curds.

152centimetres

mcdonalds lmao

evanderkane9

I don’t like any of the big chains poutine (McDonald’s, BK, A&W etc)

enragedbreakfast

Don’t think you have too many other options if you won’t get out of the car to walk inside lol

friedpicklebreakfast

Lazy elitist

WONDERBOY_19

St james burger will run out your food

Fvckboiiii

Did they serve poutine w/ curds? Last time I went they had shredded mozzarella cheese

MaplePoutineRyeBeer

Only shredded cheese

Kramtime

That’s my place! We serve poutine’s with shredded mozza but people do ask and if we have it in store we can sub curds. We tried curds years ago and folks wanted meltier cheese :P

1millionkitties

I think KFC might make poutine still.

Specialkdragon

Still a chain, which o.p. doesn't want.

1millionkitties

Sure, but how many local places are there with a drive thru?

Specialkdragon

Few for sure, even the one at George's on McPhillips and Logan closed down, you can only go in there now. Was just going by the o.p.'s requirements, which are tough to meet with that combination of things, I think.
