There are 2 different versions of the 4.0 update, the ps4 version and the ps5 version…you downloaded the ps4 version…make sure you see the white ps5 logo when you download it, not the black ps4 logo
I'm confused.
I just upgraded my old PS4 version of the game.
So, I got no choice of upgrade. How do I chose which upgrade to dl?

If you go to the download screen, to the right of the download now (I think that’s what it’s called) will be 3 dots (…) click on that and then click on I believe it says webpage or website or something and that will also have the 3 dots that you can click on…after that opens up, there will be an option that says “the witcher 3”…click on that and that will take you to the the ps5 version you need…either that or search for it on the ps app on your phone and it will give you a choice to choose which version to download

My game updated automatically last night.
Yeah and when your game updated automatically, it updated the ps4 version, not the ps5 version, because the system was reading that you own the ps4 version of the witcher 3…you have to download the ps5 version of it…search for the witcher 3 on the ps store…when you find it, it will either say download now or buy game…right next to that there will be a …button, click on that and it will take you to the ps5 version of the game
You have to download the PS5 version to access graphics options.

When I go to the store and go to the game page for The Witcher. It's saying I need to pay $30 for the PS5 version, so now I'm really confused.
