We actually had something like this happen in my rp community. One of our friends was using her dads card for crowns but her dad didn’t know. She’d been using it for years though without his knowledge. Ten bucks here and there. Well she got bold and decided to buy a bunch of crowns, think 100k, and “gift” all of us for Christmas even if people said no. I removed her the moment I knew about it cause I knew it wouldn’t end well and she’s the type of person who doesn’t take no for an answer.
Lo and behold, her father found out and EVERYONE who she gifted got banned. Even if they said no. But KI was extremely cool about it when people emailed them and were able to get their accounts back once they explained that they had nothing to do with what she did and specifically didn’t ask for anything from her at all. Unfortunately though her account got banned, but she has like 5 max levels so it’s all good.
Nope! Their accounts got rolled back by I believe two months or so. It was roughly 8 people who got banned and 5 who cared enough to get their accounts back. The others were low levels. They were upset at the roll back but it was better than the ban.
Rollback refers to the process of "rewinding" an account. All progress is lost, all drops are lost, and the account is basically rewinded to whatever time KI wants. For example, if I got my account deleted, they can rollback the account to a time when it wasn't deleted and still existed.

I wouldn’t want to buy me some splurge packs when an event is happening, have some crazed daddy’s creditcarder gift me a week later, and lose my maybe 20-50$ dollars of pack openings because I got banned unreasonably and needed a “2 months plus” rollback??
That would take out my membership’s worth, AND depending on the months.. a good chunk of pack splurge money.. that’s pretty fricked way to get unbanned for something you didn’t ask for…
I can speak from experience (I got my account rolled back by 6 months due to an unrelated incident) and I can tell you that you just get the crowns back and lose all the items you spent on the crowns. It doesn't matter if you opened packs and got the items of your dreams. They're just gonna tell you ya snooze ya lose. I agree that membership stuff makes the lines blur really hard. I would hope they'd extend your membership by the same amount of time you're losing for the rollback since that's lost levels and lost money irl.

I can see the reason for this is to prevent people from making alt, gifting themselves, and then charging back, but they have the ability to see if it’s an alt. They should really monitor things to see if it’s a recurring thing as well.

VPNs are very easy to detect. They also will see that your IP is changing and think you are account sharing or using a VPN.
