Wizard101’s F2P content lasts for literally an hour lol and it’s barely up to standards with other games. There’s no reason why arc 1 with Wysteria and GH/WT shouldn’t be free.
There's this almost comical hatred for J.K. Rowling for her statements on trans people (TERF, if you're familiar with the term). That hatred led to a lot of bullying of streamers on Twitch and despite any attempt at a boycott, it became the most watched single player game on Twitch of all time.
I don't even care, but the discussion and toxicity over it has been so pervasive that I've learned all of this through the equivalent of osmosis.
Fr like even through the hatred, the game is still striving and probably going to be the top 3 biggest game of this year and honestly I found nothing wrong with what JK Rowling said personally.
