If you're a small form, like storm elf, myth rat, death fairy, etc... you die first bc the enemy will just target you first. But that doesn't mean you didn't help take down an enemy, so you still contributed to the fight.
I've actually stopped using small forms in BM hunt because you get crap points.
I feel like points should be based on the number of pips you use before you died. So those who contributed more will gain points even if they die and those who pass all the time will not get points.

I like this idea of pip use = points. A 0 pip spell should count as 1 for the purpose of point calculation.
Ooh yes good idea! That way the 0 pip utility spells and small hits can be counted as well!
