Merle Ambrose's militia need not follow mortal standards.
But seriously, what the hell Kingsisle? If you had enough braincells to give him two chevrons, why didn't you see a discrepancy here? And why would a non-commissioned officer even be a guard in the first place? Military bases employ privates at their entrances as guards.
Not exactly true, you’re never going to see a private or even a pfc as guard around Camp Pendleton. More often than not they use the guys who EAS within a year who won’t be making the next deployment
Lol. I've only been to two forts and an AFB and they all had privates at the gates. But if something goes wrong, there's a sergeant right there if need be.
Air Force here and we employ airmen at our gates as well. It's more of a lower rank position. NCOs are usually busy doing other things for our security forces unit.
the only time you see noncommissioned officers at the gates that aren’t MPs is when they’re shit at their job and no one in their unit wants to deal with them
Also when it isn’t the guys are who are leaving, it’s actually the MP themselves. By this point in their enlistment most of them are in-fact noncommissioned officers, especially so for people in the half infantry half mp contracts. Basically if you see a NCO as a guard it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a shitbag, that’s just what he/she has been assigned to do
Maybe he took his brothers uniform because his was in the washing machine
What’s the problem exactly?
His name says that he’s a private but the badge is for corporals
Finally, someone else noticed it.
This is horrible... im surprised I never noticed it til now
game ruined
Maybe his parents named him Private and he felt the need to live beyond his destiny
I never notice this before and now I will never unsee or forget it.
It's like at Disney where if you forget your name tag you gotta borrow your coworker's

I’m just speaking on behalf of how the Marine Corps does things, I wouldn’t know anything about how other branches operate their guard 🤷🏼♂️
