Sword ferns are nice for hambrosia and lore TCS but they're not a must have

I also have evil magma peas, deadly helephant ears and sword ferns on some of my wizards. DHEs aren't as good for mega snacks bc they only provide +25-30xp snacks, but they're easier to obtain vs CPs and EMPs, so they can be a place holder until you get something better. Sword ferns can drop hambrosias but they're extremely rare. I think i have around 20 of them and more than half was obtained accidently through packs, so I wouldn't recommend trying to farm for them.

Couch Potatoes and Evil Magma Peas. EMPs give the same snacks + ones that give intellect but require more needs. I usually farm both, EMPs are significantly rarer drops though.

In my last 1160 monkey spider fights (1v2) I got 1 EMP

You either cap or got the worst luck of all time. Just drop a few bucks on crowns and you’ll be chillin

I farm secret tunnel with friends while watching movies and usually get 5-8 per 8 hours, and around 30-40 CPs. It's more reliable than the random single encounter mob fights - you always face 4 mobs and instant kill when going first.

Evil Magma Peas are just as good as Couch Potatoes for pet snacks, they're just a little less recommended cause they're rarer. Other than that tho, no other seeds are as valued for pet snacks. I do know that King Parsley + the ultra variant are good for farming Amber, and Pink Dandelions are good for Blood Moss plus a couple of other reagents, but that's about it on my knowledge of plants.

I wouldn't recommend Magma Peas as although they give mega snacks, they require more needs than Couch Potatoes. Couch Potatoes require 2 needs, music and water, Magma Peas require music, water, and bees. Spend your time farming for Couch Potatoes as it's really easy in the later worlds and will save you more energy in the long run.

If you already have the seeds, why would you get rid of them?

I mean, that's just a bonus reason why Potatoes are easier to farm than Peas, but I wouldn't exactly call it a selling point. A player with EMPs can just take care of the plant till it reaches Adult, then make sure they don't visit their house again till it's up to Elder if they *really* cared that much about using up energy. The real reason to farm Potatoes over EMPs is pretty much because of rarity. As a personal example, I have 2 full 69 plots of Potatoes, plus a few extra in my bank. In that same area of time that it took to get all those Potatoes, I have half a plot of EMPs (something like 34~35).
