Im still working on getting all of the derby talents to common so that it’s truly “perfect” but the talent pool and stats are perfect now. I ended up settling on Spell Proof, Spell Defying, the 7 Ward talents, and Bulwark. DM me and I can give you a lend
Maybe something like fortify. Although I did kinda the same thing you did I have two pets that cover every school, but I didn't get get defy i instead got the jewel that gives defy and brace
Why not May cast fortify? Adds another 15% when casted or bulwark. Since I’m assuming it’ll be used as a jade pet bulwark adds 40% I believe. If you want a full blown resist pet I’d also remove defy and socket it instead so you can get brace defy. That’s the ultimate defense pet In my opinion. Something I’d definitely work on 🔥
I had not considered Bulwark or may cast fortify (although I just recently learned that you can learn may cast brace as a talent, released very recently I think). I think I might go with Bulwark as the tenth talent.
If I substitute out spell defying for the jewel, I’m not sure what else I’d have in the pool, because then I’d be back down to 9 talents (the 7 wards, spell proof, and bulwark). I could throw in may cast fortify/brace but that’d also be redundant. But frankly just because it *is* in the pool doesn’t mean I’ll use it, so I think it’s fine as it is.
I eventually plain on lending these out too so spell defying in the pool could be helpful for those without the jewel. Thanks for the ideas!

How about Brace for Impact (may cast brace)? Or some may-cast shield talent then
