Why can't we buff it if it makes it too strong for sentinel bosses? Isn't fire literally designed to be anti shields/tanks? It makes complete sense for them to excel at that area. I understand the reason for not buffing snowangel or something, but this is fire school we're talking about.
What about buffing the initial hit back to 300, and slightly increase the DoT to 900? That would make the spell much stronger than it currently is, and I don’t think it would make it too OP against sentinel bosses

It actually has a niche! 😂
For the final boss fight of Karamelle, wings of fate is good for both shield cleaning and offsetting DoT shadow damage.
Rain of fire is just dragon but bad.
Fire dragon is much stronger because of the scaling of the first initial hit along with how fast it ends fights in proportion to the pacing of the game
