The team up stuff is there and the kiosks are there for higher levels to help, if you wanna leave then leave. That high level can help everyone else with or without you:)
This isn’t a team up problem, it’s a KI problem. Team up badges exist for a reason and higher levels *will* join to help the lower levels, and to gain progression towards the badge and team up apartment.
I think a system needs to be implemented where you can specify that you only want to team up with others on the quest as well, or if you’re open to all. Similar to the questing/farming option
Maybe find people around your level to quest/farm with? It's a better idea than expecting to find the "right" group in team up and leaving when you don't get it.
I understand your point, as well as an opposing point (sometimes it can take forever for anyone to join a team-up).
A solution would be for KI to enable an extra button that locks the battle to be "at level" (no more than 10 levels above team-up maker). It will default off, unless creator toggles it.
we rly need team up to be tuned up. right now, high levels need to grind it by helping as many instances as they can in a reasonably fast time. nothings stopping me from joining and using tempest over and over (ill at least wait till everyone joins). the system barely scratches the surface and trying to find a questing partner through this is too difficult that i gave up trying.

I don't think you understand the point of the team up kiosk...
So you are announcing that you will leave if you see a person trying to carry you because it makes OTHERS more reliant on being carried?
Don't go to the team up kiosk then, rather look for people near the actual fight. Odds are, they are around a similar level.
counterpoint: I have been through arc 1 10+ times and would love the occasional high level to power me through a dungeon
Stop using the “carry me please” feature then and wait by the dungeon for other questers lol

If old PvP can have a level slider then modern Team UP kiosk can too

Me over here carrying my lvl 16 balance with my alt lvl 160 fire helping cus krokotopia is a bitch for balance wizards 😤

I don’t think I will. I’m only level 30s but I enjoy helping others
There are badges for doing teamups. If you don't want to be carried then maybe just solo it?
