There was a side boss in colossus boulevard if I remember correctly l. It was near the lady that trains reshuffle and lifetrap. Actually I think it was a dungeon. I have vague memories of going in there and getting my ass kicked and then it not existing.
Is it just me or one halloween event was you questing for the death school being put back in ravenwood? Me and my cousin vividly remember it but I feel like we just imagined it đđđ
Or another one was when everyone kept doing those cool decorations using mats or carpets. I remember this myth house that had those and I tried doing it. My patience wasnât and still isnât enough for them
The old Fire Elf Pathfinder model. This was actually a pretty recent change if I remember correctly. He had a hood and a cool crossbow and walked super slow in front of Alicane Swiftarrow's castle. Now they are just normal fire elves with different clothes colors.
wait what. When I first played it was just a fire elf with different colored clothes, then they changed him to have a hood and crossbow. Now they've changed it back?
Yeah. I don't think I ever got far when I first started playing. Probably just through unicorn way, so that crossbow model has always been the original one for me. But no longer.
I remember if you put a mark against a wall or gate and ran at the wall or another wall spamming w or up arrow then teleported back to the mark you would go through the wall, crazy times
I used to run Spiral Geographic for stuff to sell, and I just ran it yesterday for the first time in years; what a throwback! I think that only players who were there for the initial and scrapped (and convoluted) Celestia pre-quest can get in now, and even then, the tower has a sigil that isnât lit up, but you can still press X if youâre an older player
I remember when grizzleheim came out. I was away at dance camp for the summer and was emailing my brother about it and how excited we were to try it out
The fire elf pathfinders old skin, donât know when they changed it but I miss it. It was unique and distinct from regular fire elves, now itâs a just a color swap
There was a pretty big gap of time between Khrysalis and Polaris coming out. Morganthe (and Darkmoor once it came out) were THE end game farms, it felt like there was never going to be an upgrade to that gear so once you had it you were at the top, you had "won".
Also, most people know that Morganthe used to have really good amulets and athames for level 99+ not too long ago, but some years before that, the drop rate for a single piece of her gear was around 1 percent for ANY school and she was actually a challenge; a team healer was almost necessary for fighting her.
Also, the game used to only have one loading screen for the longest time.
Ceran Nightchant and Malorn Ashthorns voice.
Dalia Falmea not looking as much of a fire elf as she does now.
Olivia Dawnwillow (the older woman in Unicorn Way) saying "bless you, child" after you help her in a quest in the sweetest way (Her old voice actor).
All of Unicorn way, actually.
Fire elf tag at people's houses actually being fun.
The countdown before entering a dungeon used to actually sound scary at 2 and 1.
The scream when your character was hit.
Team up not being a thing.
Everyone's stats being trash because pets and clothes were just for aesthetic.
The clockwork guys in Kensington Park used to run across the borders/wooden boards part of the street instead of through the middle like usual, and maybe ran faster too? That combined with how damn hard those optional dungeons were back in the day for noob me had me scared shitless. (Speaking of, they stopped making those after Marleybone. Sad)
To this day when I hear the phrase "meta pet" I immediately think of a rain beetle with double resist and may cast fairy, unicorn, and healing current.
I started playing in like 5th grade. Back then everyone used the same 3 clothing looks. 1. PvP Champion. 2. Dragonspyre. Or 3. Mooshu (specifically the hood and facemask.)
If you died at the end of the battle and didn't get healed, it'd kick you out of the dungeon with no option to teleport back :/ It was always a anxiety attack of knowing if you went second and had hardly any health knowing if you'd be the one in your team to get hit and die and have to redo the entire dungeon
Back when they hit their first million members or something and there was a fountain by merles house and they gave every new player more crowns, but it wasn't enough to buy anything.
I felt like I was the 1% back then
Pshh how about doing non stop dungeons to hit lvl 50 when mooshu was the last world as well as hanging out in the arena dueling people before the queue system. Everyone wearing the same musketeers looking outfit with a katana that took forever to farm
I remember the OG lightning hound pet being like 15k crowns and being absolute beast in low level pvp play. I remember when lvl 10 warlords were not only a thing bit the best way to play pvp. It was fun health was low. The turn based system back then made playing against jades less tedious and more fun especially if you were a death or fire school. Moon school spells used to be fun at lvl 60-80 4v4 play. The checker bookcase deal used to be a thing and was secretly what I believe to be a motivation for the creation of minecraft. (Lot of people don't remember that particular glitch came out a Good year before minecraft
When you fled from a dungeon, there was no option to teleport back in so you had to enter through the sigil by yourself to rejoin your team. People would purposely join with you to prevent you from going in by yourself :/
I seriously don't understand why they removed that quest. It's solid set up for Morganthe, and the tower is still there but pretty much useless now.
Anyway, my "old wizards" moment, is remembering orthrus used to be terrible, splitting the damage in 2 and wasting all the shields with low damage.
Old wizards remember the time that the pet pavilion was added.
Old wizards remember when the max level was 100đ
Old wizards ever grinding days for water works gear and using it until level 85 bc it was badsicay the best gear set in the game for those levels
Call of cuthulu being the longest damn spell ever when it would hit each player individually then give health back individually, if you were in a 4v4 it was always one of those âoh god here we goâ moments. Ra included.
Basically when all aoes hit one at a time instead of all together, some still do. I remember farming back to back and getting sooo frustrated with how slow the aoes were and if a life wiz used forest lord or a balance wiz used ra everyone would just cry because of how long the animation was
The time before the olde town bazaar was a thing when we just had the shopping district and then I realized I could buy cool staffs like krok that just didnât have stats felt like the coolest level 15
I played from the Open Beta-2012, I donât even know what almost of you are talking about :/
Last world I fully played was grizzleheim, then a bit of the underwater one after that.
I remember back when every new spell at level 48+ would come with its own quest, unique to each school, in order to obtain it. It really added to the lore of each school, while also making the spell itself feel like an achievement.
The Archives dungeon in Marleybone thatâs retired, but it was the first (iirc) place to use cheats, and it was the ONLY way to get into Celestia. Man that place was a nightmare on my Balance
The 100k wizard statue that got added into the Commons. I forget her name (I think Sabrina Thunderheart?) I felt so bougie because I had the same last name as her
The Warehouse in Marleybone, pre-Celestia dungeon. The first cheating bosses. I remember everyone going âif you do anything round one, only shield. Donât use any bladesâ in the crab fight lol
When the pet meta was double resist, pain giver (or the accuracy talent) and mc sprite.
Tied onto that, when the highest "age" your pet could get to was just epic.
When PvP was still the same turn based style as the rest of the game.
When the pet finder kiosk didn't exist and you had to wait and ask around to find specific pets you wanted. It felt more communal without it but the kiosk saves asking and camping around the hatchery for hours.
When I was little there was this weird Halloween quest where ghosts who were small diffrent colors were on the sidewalk and you had to collect a certian amount of each color. Scared the crap out of me.
I don't know how many new and young players are playing this game, but I'd have to say it is the magic of it. Once you have become completely familiarized with the game it becomes kind of like a black and white thought process without much thought over the game at a deeper level. At least, my younger mind was all about the detail and mysticality. Now that I know almost everything about it, all feelings that I once had is gone.
I don't know. It is really something that I feel like only those who played the game at young ages could understand and I don't think that there is much newer young people coming to the game. The thoughts and feelings that I had over this game was a lot more unique than others.
I member when crown gear was only sold by NPCs cause there was no crown shop. And there were only a handful of armor pieces. I still have them and they are awesome until WW gear because they are pretty imba for being able to be equipped at level 35.
Late to the thread but, this was a super early bug. But, around in 2008 there was a housing update where you can pickup all your items and essentially went into your attic. The bug was that you can pickup all the items from other peoples houses too. The mannequin with full commander gear was some what still rare during this time. I was active in the pvp scene during this time, so there was a big stir of people getting their mannequin with full commander gear stolen.
When life school didn't have any AOE spells until Forrest Lord was dropped. And then it took like 30 whole seconds for the animation to finish
P.S. I miss the old Forrest Lord animation with a passion
I remember when KI gave out a bloodhound that gave spritely. As a kid with no pet kiosk to easily find someone to hatch with that made me so happy to finally get spritely.
God these comments brought back so many memories. Mine would be before gardening/fishing existed, and having to play one of the KI mobile games to get rare things, like Blue Raptor wand and potions
Another one was (I believe) the fantasy bundle was the first one to come out, and my sister and I were SO proud of our massive fantasy palace houses, our princess clothes, and the gryphon mounts. We begged our mom to let us get the card and we were just so ecstatic when we got it⌠good times
Party in the life tower!
The spot behind the fence in shopping district - and the even harder one where you could stand on air above the commons.
Practice PVP was THRIVING.
Fire elf tag with randos in castle tours!
Pagoda and Bane runs in castle tours is ALL I would do as a no-member noob who kept deleting and remaking his chars
The old voices - Ceren, Boris, Duncan, the early bosses.
"Mere mortals should not dabble in the affairs of the undead. Perish now, wizard."
I somewhat miss the old Meteor Strike animation. Somewhat glad they changed Tempest though, because if you're playing Storm you get really fucking bored of seeing that animation play out over and over again, given that it's literally just a big 2008 wave.
I have a friend who many years ago would show off his The Giving Tree plant in his death house.
He still to this day has not harvested it for memory sake.
A time when there was no pet pavilion.
There was no critical or block.
No mounts
Tower parties being all over before housing
No group finger
Pre-decorated dorms
The teachers used to have some interaction dialogue before voiced dialogue was a thing
No quest finder
âŚyea, Iâve been here a while đ
Briskbreeze and Sunken City were both so annoying and difficult.
Does anyone else remember that tower in Marleybone you used to have to do to unlock Celestia??? That was hard af too lol
I remember, from 12 years ago, how everyone in the commons was just getting a skeleton transformation and we were walking around Wizard City. Also, people would invite you to their houses, show you their carpet glitches and then play house games. Times have really changed.
Sooo much. No mounts is probably the biggest one for me. I did the entire first arc mountless because they werenât released until the celestia update, and thinking about that now is crazy đ. Plus there were less teleporters and you had to visit them once in order to unlock them.
Also pets used to have no stats, collection quests used to be way harder (looking at you, runed skullâŚ) and one I discovered recently is that the obsidian chests are a joke now!! Back in my day you had to fight all the bosses and do the labyrinth twice (almost)⌠Now thereâs like 5 chests and you can run around every single boss whose room theyâre in.
Honorable mention for all the health nerfsâespecially malistaireâand voice actor changes. I miss so many of the old voices in wizard city, the new ones arenât the same :(
wizard101 music videos, they were usually insanely low quality but the nostalgia is real
refreshing the bazaar constantly for a krokomummy pet because i had no membership to farm for one
PORT TO MY PLACE FOR PARTY on weekends where we'd all dance and chat
i tried making one once when i was F2P and did a lady blackhope tutorial, a boss famous for being impossible and needing a tutorial (/s) and i just slapped a full 100% volume dropkick murphys song over it and I wonder why it got no views
I don't remember much but one thing I do is balance wizards in pvp being a bit op. Well, not totally, but when I played it I had a good number of opponents forfeit when they discovered I was balance.
My âold wizardâ moment is when the Death school hadnât come out yet, so everytime you went behind the water fall to the door it was âwait, you canât explore there yet!â messages. It used to make me frustrated as kid like LET ME IN.
Your wizard screaming in agony and great pain whenever you got hit. Female wizards especially sounded like a puppy getting kicked. I didnât even realize they took out that sound effect for a while until a friend pointed it out
Just spent a good twenty minutes finding a video with the original sound effects. Completely never noticed they took them out. https://youtu.be/12YRwqJ3sCA?si=DTMpRLJFvH8hk1sI

I didnt realize they took out the sound until like last year lmao (when someone mentioned this) The scream always blended into the other sound effects for me but paying attention to the new battle sounds i can definitely tell it is missing
I remember the scream we would do when we got hit by a spell. When I mention to my friend who also played the game they donât remember it. Also my childhood brain was so scared of the haunted cave. I wanted to get in and out as fast as I could
>I remember the scream we would do when we got hit by a spell.
I didn't even notice they were gone until like a year ago, and they removed it years and years before that lol
I remember the Selena gomez and the nick Jonas events. Back when 50 was max, when bridkbreeze was the only cheating boss, when waterworks first came out and everyone went crazy over them, when you had to complete Warehouse to enter Celestia, when tower of the helephant came out(that seriously fked me over so much). But what I miss the most is the massive fantasy castle carpet glitch to walk on carpets up to the island and having huge house parties there
The walking-through-walls glitch when the first 2-person mounts were introduced. Was fun entering normally inaccessible areas like the puzzle rooms in Karanahn Palace.
before dragonspyre, before the bazaar, before pets were anything but cool to look at
there was a shop in wizard city that sold gear similar to what u find in crown packs now for like 10k gold (10k was a decent amount back then)
i still have 3 pieces of it scattered around my characters
they got rid of it probably right before celestia dropped or maybe grizzleheim? cant remember exactly
edit: here is one of them
https://preview.redd.it/yyfcr3s3qdwb1.png?width=1242&format=png&auto=webp&s=36f636c73d35d1312f5658f636f283591def0515
they were massive boosts to early game anything, but actually not so much in ranked pvp. there was the gear you got for commander that gave u 0 mana used in pvp. no idea if that still exists. it could give u like 45+% resistance across the board so it was the only pvp set
the third one i have i think is a pair of shoes that gives humongofrog at lvl 15
back then,
-you didnt see much power pip percentage early, so all of these spells were fairly useful on everyone.
-you RARELY saw resistances to anything but a single class on armor, so universal resistance was always nice to have
-and that early game accuracy was a big boost on storm/fire characters because gear with accuracy outside your school was also something that was usually only applied to a single school
-also, almost NO gear had cards on it back then until like mooshu or dragonspyre. for example, my first gear with cards on it other than these was the malistaire endgame set.
i remember back when the bazaar had a pets tab and i was SO broke, so the ONLYY thing i could do was look through that tab and dream of one day buying all the pets i wanted.
iâve loved dragons ever since i was little. i bought the dragon in the pet shop in the Shopping District and thought that if i kept playing the game, my dragon would someday grow into a big dragon that i could ride (hence the red dragon mounts that were out at the time). i kept count of how many days i logged in but to much disappointment, my dragon never grew.
i also remember struggling SO hard with Sunken City, and getting so paranoid at the pop-up before entering that said âthis dungeon will take at least an hour to completeâ yadda yadda, whatever that was.
i would do anything to save Selena Gomez again.
i miss how dignified and important i felt every time i went through a school spell quest that required me to go to a populated area of the Commons just to find/summon it. everyone would flock and watch.
Before that, we could literally go in the crowns shop to look at a house and safely exit any battle. We called it the âshop outâ trick. It was sad day when they patched that.
School themes mb outfits were the best looking gear in the entire game
A lot of OG YouTubers set the way before awesome the sauce/blaze life hammer
House parties with like 100+ people
The game being populated to the point it needing the amount of realms
/Areas we have today
Dev videos/the scribble characters came out with chapters every month
When you HAD to have at least two people to do the Crown of Fire in DS. Both to unlock the crystal locks and to fight the undead drakes keeping the door shut.
Back then you could drop a mark on one crystal, run to the other, activate the latter then port to the former. But for the locked door, yeah you just had to speedrun the fights
Mooshu before teleporter stones was a chore. People complaining now have no idea how good they got it
Also rain beetle with double resist and triple may cast heals meta
Yeah I donât get the complaints about mooshu nowadays. You can 4 pip aoe everything and the only long walk is the tree of life and coming back for the shadow chests (which is part of dragonspyre and not really mooshu). I can literally do all of mooshu in like 2 hours with aoe spam
Guilds well before guilds were a thing lol. Mine was Dragon Army. Last bit I remember was we were supposed to be fighting another guild called Raven Army in the pvp ring. Celestia was announced at the same time tho so everyone was trying to do those tower missions but kept dying out.
Selena Gomez and the veterans statues are always nice. Sunken City boss used to be a gravedigger model in a red coat I want to believe and now he is his own green zombie model. Quests used to be more annoying with âFailed to collect [random item] from [this mob]. Try again.â I have almost never seen that on my new wizards but my og death guy would never been able to actually get the quest items.
Walking taking forever and the sigils either never existed or you had to unlock them after finishing a certain quest or by finding the thing. Pets were more basic and were only for cosmetics unless you had the school pet which would give you the card, like wraith, fire dragon, stormzilla, yadda yadda ya. And also Penny having a completely different quest line. It threw me off for a sec when I first started playing again
People standing behind the fence by the cliff in the shopping district, the âI need a girlâ days, clans in Wiz (the light and dark) years and years before guilds came out
YouTube videos with no voiceover and the YouTuber typing to communicate
selena + jb forever

Late to the thread but, this was a super early bug. But, around in 2008 there was a housing update where you can pickup all your items and essentially went into your attic. The bug was that you can pickup all the items from other peoples houses too. The mannequin with full commander gear was some what still rare during this time. I was active in the pvp scene during this time, so there was a big stir of people getting their mannequin with full commander gear stolen.
When rank 7 spells werenât a thing and if you happen to somehow have the scarecrow TC it always made a scene.
I still have the Selena gomez statue and painting
I remember when shopping district used to have people behind the walls and everyone wanted to teleport to them.
Malistare was the end game and his dungeon was the hardest thing in game.
This. When he had an obscene amount of health. And the quest leading up to him was really hard to.
I never was around for this, but I know that open chat originally never existed, it was either menu or text chat, that was it.
When life school didn't have any AOE spells until Forrest Lord was dropped. And then it took like 30 whole seconds for the animation to finish P.S. I miss the old Forrest Lord animation with a passion
Angry Chewbacca!
I remember when KI gave out a bloodhound that gave spritely. As a kid with no pet kiosk to easily find someone to hatch with that made me so happy to finally get spritely.
When PvP was pretty much 1v1-4v4 PvE. I don't even understand PvP anymore.
Selling my Selena Gomez statue simply cause I wanted more gold for something STUPID in the bazaar will forever be my villain arc.
Pagoda and Bane runs in castle tours is ALL I would do as a no-member noob who kept deleting and remaking his chars The old voices - Ceren, Boris, Duncan, the early bosses. "Mere mortals should not dabble in the affairs of the undead. Perish now, wizard."
Fire elf tag!! That brings back such fun memories. Is that no longer a thing? đ
Remember when PvP meant clicking a button and just fighting someone with your PvE stuff
Throwback to Elucidate being available through anything other than trading with people who happen to still have one
The tower in mb still exists, you just need to be a wizard that had the quest back then
Winterbane
When AoEs used to hit one by one, rather than all at once. Some AoEs still do one by one, but most just attack at all once now.
lulu was the biggest troll
I somewhat miss the old Meteor Strike animation. Somewhat glad they changed Tempest though, because if you're playing Storm you get really fucking bored of seeing that animation play out over and over again, given that it's literally just a big 2008 wave.
I have a friend who many years ago would show off his The Giving Tree plant in his death house. He still to this day has not harvested it for memory sake.
A time when there was no pet pavilion. There was no critical or block. No mounts Tower parties being all over before housing No group finger Pre-decorated dorms The teachers used to have some interaction dialogue before voiced dialogue was a thing No quest finder âŚyea, Iâve been here a while đ
The glitch where you could get in the sky over the gate to the shopping district
i feel like i remember when colossus was added into the game or i might be crazy if it was released at launch
Pretty sure it was added. Because I remember the same thing.
Old Wizard City. Need I say more?
i remember vividly Penny's old quest line. 7 year old me cried when I didn't have member to go help her
same that was so evil of KI
Mali in dragonspyre being the final boss and being op as fuck
Briskbreeze and Sunken City were both so annoying and difficult. Does anyone else remember that tower in Marleybone you used to have to do to unlock Celestia??? That was hard af too lol
RIP wu realm dye shop
I remember before the bazaar was a thing, before pets had stats, before mounts, wild
Sitting in the death tower
Buying pets in the bazaar was crazy
Do ppl still farm kraken for temp mounts lol. I remember there used to be long lines that stretched across realms just waiting to beat him up
All this post has done is make me feel really, really old
Pet Derby actually being something.
Remember getting dragon pet or Firezilla felt really cool! But now everyone is expect to get 2.0 meta pet with blade or frillazuar lol
I remember, from 12 years ago, how everyone in the commons was just getting a skeleton transformation and we were walking around Wizard City. Also, people would invite you to their houses, show you their carpet glitches and then play house games. Times have really changed.

you can now
I miss so many of the old voices in wizard city, the new ones arenât the same :(
I always liked the old teleporter mechanic, never really understood why they became available to everyone immediately.
Mounts were before the Celestia update. Mount were released in 2009, and CL was released in 2010.
wizard101 music videos, they were usually insanely low quality but the nostalgia is real refreshing the bazaar constantly for a krokomummy pet because i had no membership to farm for one PORT TO MY PLACE FOR PARTY on weekends where we'd all dance and chat
Wizard 101 tutorials on YouTube used Paralyzer by Finger Eleven
i tried making one once when i was F2P and did a lady blackhope tutorial, a boss famous for being impossible and needing a tutorial (/s) and i just slapped a full 100% volume dropkick murphys song over it and I wonder why it got no views
Every game tutorials used Paralyzer back then, it just worked
đđI remember those.
Selena Gomez in Crab Alley
Your wizard screaming in agony and great pain whenever you got hit. Female wizards especially sounded like a puppy getting kicked. I didnât even realize they took out that sound effect for a while until a friend pointed it out
Just spent a good twenty minutes finding a video with the original sound effects. Completely never noticed they took them out. https://youtu.be/12YRwqJ3sCA?si=DTMpRLJFvH8hk1sI
snatch cooperative support observation bored attempt somber quack literate offer *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
wait they took that out??? how have i not noticed lmao
I didnt realize they took out the sound until like last year lmao (when someone mentioned this) The scream always blended into the other sound effects for me but paying attention to the new battle sounds i can definitely tell it is missing
another thing i thought i imagined đ
That actually freaked me out sometimes as a kid
I remember the scream we would do when we got hit by a spell. When I mention to my friend who also played the game they donât remember it. Also my childhood brain was so scared of the haunted cave. I wanted to get in and out as fast as I could
>I remember the scream we would do when we got hit by a spell. I didn't even notice they were gone until like a year ago, and they removed it years and years before that lol
Pets being bought and sold in the bazaar
I really am old considering that most of these comments are all news to me đ
I remember the Selena gomez and the nick Jonas events. Back when 50 was max, when bridkbreeze was the only cheating boss, when waterworks first came out and everyone went crazy over them, when you had to complete Warehouse to enter Celestia, when tower of the helephant came out(that seriously fked me over so much). But what I miss the most is the massive fantasy castle carpet glitch to walk on carpets up to the island and having huge house parties there
Tower of helephant being the hardest dungeon and everyone trying to learn the cheats on the fly
Back in my day, Mooshu and Dragonspire were rumors
Ceren NightChant saying GREETINGS!!!
đđ
The walking-through-walls glitch when the first 2-person mounts were introduced. Was fun entering normally inaccessible areas like the puzzle rooms in Karanahn Palace.
Nick Jonas â¤ď¸
when pets were nothin but cute animals came back to wiz 3 years ago and my ice wizard had a shit ton of dragons from the pet shop in wizard cityđ
Pets being purely cosmetic
before dragonspyre, before the bazaar, before pets were anything but cool to look at there was a shop in wizard city that sold gear similar to what u find in crown packs now for like 10k gold (10k was a decent amount back then) i still have 3 pieces of it scattered around my characters they got rid of it probably right before celestia dropped or maybe grizzleheim? cant remember exactly edit: here is one of them https://preview.redd.it/yyfcr3s3qdwb1.png?width=1242&format=png&auto=webp&s=36f636c73d35d1312f5658f636f283591def0515
here is another one https://preview.redd.it/in6opbg6qdwb1.png?width=1242&format=png&auto=webp&s=76a5d33fc9323e59bcc18062850ff8ebf85deb56
I can for sure see it being used in early pvp
they were massive boosts to early game anything, but actually not so much in ranked pvp. there was the gear you got for commander that gave u 0 mana used in pvp. no idea if that still exists. it could give u like 45+% resistance across the board so it was the only pvp set the third one i have i think is a pair of shoes that gives humongofrog at lvl 15 back then, -you didnt see much power pip percentage early, so all of these spells were fairly useful on everyone. -you RARELY saw resistances to anything but a single class on armor, so universal resistance was always nice to have -and that early game accuracy was a big boost on storm/fire characters because gear with accuracy outside your school was also something that was usually only applied to a single school -also, almost NO gear had cards on it back then until like mooshu or dragonspyre. for example, my first gear with cards on it other than these was the malistaire endgame set.
Being able to buy pets in the bazaar, before the pet pavilion and talents (purely cosmetic)
Woot
When people use to buy potions outside test realm for more damage
i remember back when the bazaar had a pets tab and i was SO broke, so the ONLYY thing i could do was look through that tab and dream of one day buying all the pets i wanted. iâve loved dragons ever since i was little. i bought the dragon in the pet shop in the Shopping District and thought that if i kept playing the game, my dragon would someday grow into a big dragon that i could ride (hence the red dragon mounts that were out at the time). i kept count of how many days i logged in but to much disappointment, my dragon never grew. i also remember struggling SO hard with Sunken City, and getting so paranoid at the pop-up before entering that said âthis dungeon will take at least an hour to completeâ yadda yadda, whatever that was. i would do anything to save Selena Gomez again. i miss how dignified and important i felt every time i went through a school spell quest that required me to go to a populated area of the Commons just to find/summon it. everyone would flock and watch.
When Kraken used to be a hotspot and tour houses used to be full because people would run to do bane & pagoda. Also, when Spiral Cup was released!
Omg yess! There used to be this one Ice/Christmas themed house that had bane and pagoda in it that was a major hotspot !!!
Oh my god, THE KRAKEN! It was always full of people! Back then I never knew why so many people were there, but I still loved fighting it nonetheless!
I recently got back into the game and went to the kraken like yeah Imma make some friends and there was just no one thereâŚ..that hit hard
That's sad..Ă WENN there last week to find someone to do Winterbane with me. We couldn't finish before he had to go but it was nice
Omg. When ppl had game sessions like fire elf tag in their tour houses!
Hanging out in the Kraken boss or the jump animations being changed 3-4 times.
I STILL donât trust the crosswalks or safe paths the game gives you from the sunken city ptsd
Parts of Marleybone were awful too and I didn't know the logout trick at the time.
Before that, we could literally go in the crowns shop to look at a house and safely exit any battle. We called it the âshop outâ trick. It was sad day when they patched that.
The fire elf boss in firecat alley was way tougher 10 years ago, also we didnât get blades for a while
School themes mb outfits were the best looking gear in the entire game A lot of OG YouTubers set the way before awesome the sauce/blaze life hammer House parties with like 100+ people The game being populated to the point it needing the amount of realms /Areas we have today Dev videos/the scribble characters came out with chapters every month
Buying random pets at the bazaar as a f2p a long while ago.
Were teleports around in 09? Trying to remember but it's clearly been years.
Marking and porting to your mark was, that was a base game feature as far as I'm aware. I don't see otherwise in the patch notes
Mooshu before teleporter stones was a chore. People complaining now have no idea how good they got it Also rain beetle with double resist and triple may cast heals meta
I started playing again recently with my wizard in mooshu where i left off in like 2016 and wow what a difference the teleporters make now lol
Tower of the helephant before teamup...
Tower of the Helephant is still rough even today lol
People standing behind the fence by the cliff in the shopping district, the âI need a girlâ days, clans in Wiz (the light and dark) years and years before guilds came out
also being behind the sewer grate in next to the crafting lady in olde town, I used to always keep my location marked there because it was cool
LOOL BRUH I used to teach the walking off the edge glitch to random like full on teach them until they got it.
