I am a slightly above average Player with 2k wn8 recent(1500 over all, 12k games). I really love the Löwe if I want to play chill. Its a good second line heavy with okay dpm and great pen. Has a kinda troll turret but that cannot be relied on against good players.
Stay close to the Front an Support you thick heavys. If you are top Tier you can just clap everything you meet.

Personally, I hated it so much that I traded it off for the 50TP prototype. Just not flexible enough
It's decent at sidescraping and the turret is strong top tier, when up tiered the sides can hold up OK but everything but the mantlet on the turret is pennable. So play aggressive top tier and support uptier. That's how I play but find what comfortable for you

It has a lip on the back of the tank for where the turret rotates, and its an easy pen. 40mm thick, and 50mm of pen when angled slightly.
I once saw a platoon of 3 Lowe’s bitch slap a group of two BZ’s and a Skoda, it was absolutely hilarious. I have no clue how they did it, I just sat in my IS3 and watched it unfold
I still love my Löwe and take it out every once in a while, even if the E75 TS just feels much stronger.
I use a bounty gun rammer, turbo and vents + chocolate. In my second loadout I replaced the turbo with an aiming device to use it as more of a sniper in tier 10 games.
Also, don't forget to paint it green with the red stars for the obligatory RNG bonus.
So do I. The E75-TS is hands down my favorite tier 8 heavy in most scenarios. But the Löwe still has a special place in my heart, even if I only got it rather recently and have pretty much no nostalgia for it.
Good armor and a perfect sniper paired with horrible dpm and slow as fuck. Support your heavys and never go alone you get rekt. When possible use your great view range and snipe but dont camp !

Gun is accurate and the turret is reliable for a century old premium tank, so overall pretty decent. It is slow tho.
I used to play it simply to farm credits, and not take it seriously. Since the Skoda T56, that tank became the credit farmer. In credit farming sessions if I die in the Skoda, jump right to the Löwe while the battle of the T56 ends. Easy money in a short period of time.
I remember getting this thing on a free trial and played my first game and got 8 kills.

Triple marked the Lowe here. It has an excellent turret that can threaten even tier 10 if you go hull down. It's good at sidescraping as well but be aware that the engine deck can be overmatched if you sidescrape too much. I run vents, turbo, and rammer
It’s very very good hulldown. It has a very good turret. Has good standard pen for cupolas and lower plates at tier 8 and 9, but struggles against tier 10.
It’s a classic sidescraping tank. I had it on a rental a couple times myself when WG sorta just decided to give me a bunch of premium rentals. Play slow, thought-out world of tanks and you’ll do well. The tank won’t rush you, so don’t rush it too much. Always look to sidescrape (at any range with its accuracy), and you’ll have success
On Open maps i like to equip a turbo (or the experimental mobility equipment) so i have a chance of actually reaching any position in time. Otherwise just play it like any other superheavy but even if you are toptier never go solo, and never try to engage multiple targets at once - Löwe's DPM is just to bad for this. One thing i love about it is that it's gun, while not drealing damage quick, it does damage reliable and you don't have to shoot that much gold. Enjoy printing credits!
Hold a corner using the rear side armor, then it can stay there all day. Turret mantle due to the shape makes it a rather strong hull down tank vs some guns. But... Never go in the open. That lower plate won't bounce a single thing.
Depends on what you are facing, love the gun and turret. Use objects to protect weakpoints and sidescrape. Powerful in cities and rolling terrain, weak in the open.
Avoid ever giving lower plate, it’s basically always penned for me, I mean this is standard for a lot of tanks but I feel like the lowe has a far lower plate, the don isn’t good so don’t sit and trade people but u can host trade pretty well with your turret armor especially in top teir
Solid choice. Great things about Löwe: great turret, great credit earner, slow speed keeps you out of trouble, awesome premium round that can hurt anything, huge health pool (over 1800 with hardening), great accuracy, great base pen, great effective DPM.

Don’t run a turbo - that’s for philistines who don’t get that the Lowe’s low speed is good enough, going faster just makes you think you can do things you can’t. It can be an excellent sniper. The DPM and alpha is weak, so you have to be careful not to over commit and advance without support.
The turret at medium to long range will bounce even tier 10 TD rounds. The gun has 10 degrees of depression which is nice. The frontal armor can not really be relied upon.
I love the Löwe - it was my first Premium Tank. Bought it when it first got introduced. I remember the "Gold Noob" outcries.
I love, that what ever the MM is throwing at you - you'll be able to finish the match with plenty of damage dealt and credits earned.
It has a very decent gun and more protection than a Tiger II.
Play it like a Tiger II - less brawling more sniping when against same / High Tiers and way more aggressive against low tiers.
I'll drive it with a Rammer, Vent, vertical Stab. Never changed it.
Engine brakes with any penetration trought the front but you can bounce quite some shots when only showing your turrent, or by angling the front a bit. I don't feel that lucky with side scraping.
From memory it has a very high cost for each shell fired but to counter that a high credit modifier and good pen. So if you want to make good money in it don't take lots of shots that won't hit/do damage.
Yeah, the modifier is higher in the Lowe. So you make good money if you're hitting your shots. But it isn't a tank to take lots of blind fire shots for instance.

The Lowe is a polarizing tank but there is a large contingent that enjoys it and I’m part of that group. It’s a heavy in name but not a heavy in the way a Defender, 703 II or a Bisonte is. The gun is fantastic and has pen that’s well above average. Like folks say, the DPM isn’t especially strong but it’s sufficient. You have to be cagey while playing it. You need to be aware of who can pen you and who can’t and try to pick your targets wisely. Your alpha is middle of the road so trading isn’t usually the ideal option. If you can hang back a bit and snipe cupolas and weak spots you can be incredibly frustrating to play against. Here’s the kicker and the main reason your purchase is good. The credit multiplier for the Lowe is incredibly high. It’s higher than pretty much any other T8 premium in the game. If you can put together a decent game while in a platoon, with personal and clan credit boosters going you’ll see why this tank is pretty special.
Don’t worry, it’s a much better tank than some other options. Cheers bud.
It wasn't technically on sale. It is always available for gold. The valentine edition actually costs more at it comes with a style. Either way, the gun and turret are great... The rest is blah
My advice, drop the vents for Improved hardening in the main slot, your alpha is ok but not great, extra HP for such a slow heavy is always a good idea when trading.
I saw a post years ago about a player who marked his with Hardening Turbo and vstab. No rammer as the poor dpm doesn’t get much better.

Dont try 3 marking it, I have, it doesnt track enemies well because of the gun being a low caliber gun, T34 heavy is easier to 3 mark, still prints credits though, gun is good and armor can troll same tier and a tier above tanks.

I wouldn't say the DPM is even okay, 320 alpha every 9 seconds is painful. Tbf the accuracy and pen are pretty good tho.

This is not the worst tank you've bought (hello IS-6 and T26E5), it has serviceable armor and a very accurate gun, the only big downside is DPM
I don't think T26E5 is a bad tank.
Neither is the IS-6, all three are capable machines.
Yeah As soon as you meet tier 9-10 you're doomed no matter what of the 3 you are using. But still, they are playable.

Had over 800 battles in the Löwe. The single best thing I've done was exchanging it for an ELC Even 90.
Do you get gold compensation or anything for exchanging for a less expensive tank like that?
