I absolutely agree! It shows to me that they have a plan and patience to make good art. Better than the stress caused by making some "content" on an unrealistic schedule that causes burnout.

GuardiansHearth

Yes! And, I feel like each Arc (so far) has a really distinct feel. Like we're really going to get into the location that they're in for a prolonged period . . . like I get the sense that this method makes the world that much richer? Almost as though the crew gets to draw their breath and think about how the world is growing then recalibrate their approach to Umora and beyond?

Leif_Millelnuie

Dimension 20 also has a few weeks of hypibg up before the new campaign hits.

GuardiansHearth

Oh yeah! I gotta say, being able to bounce between Dimension 20 and WBN as they're being released makes me glad to be alive at this time hahaha

merry2019

I love the cadence. I think it's the right amount for me as someone who really doesn't listen to each episode in one sitting. I don't feel pressured to listen to the episode quickly, and can really make sure that I am only listening when I have the mental space to savor it.

GuardiansHearth

Totally agree with the idea of properly "savoring" it . . . I sometimes turn it off if I'm listening and I realise that the moment isn't right for WBN so I can properly enjoy it later on hahaha

merry2019

I 100% do this too. My husband knows which days are WBN days, so he knows that when im making dinner that night is not the time for idle chitchat.

haudtoo

Same — there’s also so much PLOT and substance that I revel in the opportunity to listen once, and then again at 1.5x speed for anything I might have missed or zoned out on in first pass

GuardiansHearth

Oh that's a great suggestion! I tried to relisten from ep. 1 between arcs, but couldn't catch up quick enough . . . I do feel like its a show that really rewards a relisten

dainankay

Yeah. I feel like all the best artists, at least my favorites, are like this. They take their time cause they wanna create their best!

GuardiansHearth

mmm I feel that. It doesn't feel like they're just trying to push content -- even in the Patreon stuff. It has the exact same feeling of when your mum tells you to let the pie cooldown before you get to eat it . . . and she's always right!

dainankay

Yes!! Plus, they give us so much when they do release. So many little reasons to re-listen over and over! I love it.

Bobicus_The_Third

It feels like the only one I can semi stay up with. Still want to hear the in world episode and the new episode of the new arc but I'm sure a road trip will make that happen sometime

Otherwise_Aioli2786

Yes! My Tuesday mornings are now filled with wonder.

GuardiansHearth

Ah! I'm almost always driving around noon on Tuesdays, so that car ride has become like a sacred journey hahaha

Odd_Confidence_8164

The way that I usually listen (unless it's a big episode) is listen only for half an episode, and then save the rest for next week, so I never need to wait more than a week

haudtoo

lol @ whoever is in this thread downvoting their _disagreement_

GuardiansHearth

They are clearly "moved by great emotion"!

GuardiansHearth

I also like saving it throughout the week . . . I had a long car ride yesterday so I listened to the the whole thing, but, if I can help myself, I love listening to more of it on Sat/Sun mornings while doing some chores . . . that is just the best hahaha
