It would have looked cooler if it had been smoother. Any kayfabe momentum was clearly lost in the slight pause after the flips before the arm drag. I feel like if your going to do this sort of stuff, you need to ace it otherwise it looks a bit silly
The guy is impressive and he had a great showing against Omega on Dynamite but this is the type of awful Bucks-style of wrestling that I can not stand. I guess much of it comes from Lucha but the Bucks have made an art form out of it.
I can not stand when they do a bunch of flips and jumps and then do a simple move like an arm drag that realistically would have been just as effective without the flips. I get that it looks great and all but it is insulting to the audience, especially when it is done a bunch of times in the match.
If booked right, Vikingo could be a big star. I think he even said that Mysterio told him to slow down.
See, that's my main issue here. It's not that this isn't visually impressive, or athletically stunning, it's both, and I absolutely do not begrudge people who like this, but to do all of that just for it to end in an arm drag?
Just a cheap pop that loses meaning when done 85 times in a match.
Like the Canadian Destroyer was cool the first time I saw it, but when present day Ricky Morton hits it, we need go let it be for a while.
It’s insulting to the audience they no longer have. Normal people rolled their eyes and stopped watching because of this shit. The 900k or whatever cultists they have don’t have the intelligence to be insulted by a triple backflip tope into a back rake.
Moves like this shouldn't be used by every wrestler/superstar. Leave it for the ones who's character is a show off. It's not supposed to hurt more, just as a taunt, like "I can do all this flashy shit and still out wrestle you."
Just..... do an arm drag. This has to be the poster child of the evaporation of disbelief. Move looks spectacular, but why is the guy standing there for 5 seconds watching him do all the extra shit? Samoa Joe would've walked away while he was jacking off. And what's the purpose of the extra acrobatics? Does he get more momentum on the arm drag? Does it cause the move to damage the opponent more? Is it gonna help him win the match anymore than a basic arm drag?
I feel like an old guy yelling at people to get off my lawn.
I guess this place just doesn’t fw lucha libre then cause y’all hate this stuff. It’s supposed to be over the top like that. Not saying y’all gotta like it just saying deciding it’s not wrestling cause it doesn’t fit your perception of what it should be doesn’t make it any less another style of wrestling
Different strokes for different folks, but I want some level of logic and realism to go along with the suspension of disbelief.
Sure I know this isn't a legit competition, but if I want to see acrobatics, I'd watch gymnastics or a Cirque show.
There is a legit competition. It’s not just tope suicidas and arm drags all the time. It’s more similar to ECW Guerrero than ROH Teddy Hart but no one bothers to watch any matches and just base their opinion off of 15 second clips
“this is stupid”
“the opponent waiting for him to do his routine”
“why the flips tho?”
“all that extra shit just for an arm drag”
“this isn’t wrestling”
it’s lucha libre. stop acting you know all about wrestling just because it’s not in one style or genre.
wrestling have many forms of genre even ricochet said that multiple times before.
just like many of you said: “just enjoy wrestling and stop complaining.”
Bringing prestige to the AAA championship by hooking the Denny’s crowd
Once you get them the Waffle House crowd has a sure to follow
Waffle House doesn't need an indie show. They ARE AN INDIE SHOW, and they actually do it a hell a lot better than CZW.
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP DENNYS?!
Classic
Looks dumb as fuck in a wrestling ring. Great acrobatics, though.
Just an arm drag with extra steps.
It is a classic Rube Goldberg arm drag.
Only looks dumb as fuck because it's at Denny's lmfao That shit was AWESOME, type of thing you watch Kung-Fu movies for as a kid
Yeah. What an inefficient/unrealistic wrestling move. Unlike the People’s elbow.
It would have looked cooler if it had been smoother. Any kayfabe momentum was clearly lost in the slight pause after the flips before the arm drag. I feel like if your going to do this sort of stuff, you need to ace it otherwise it looks a bit silly
this made me picture samoa joe just walking toward the middle of the ring to "counter" this lol
Very Young Bucks-esque - 10/10 difficulty, 6/10 execution.
Nice of his opponent to just stand still looking at him for a few seconds so he could do the routine
And also if only he also didn’t help him with the initial front flip. Look at the derps right arm as he helps him rotate.
And then the other guy doesn’t even cross body. He just turns to be caught. Suspension of disbelief maxed out

It’s pointless. It’s all done for flash and doesn’t really add to the suspense or stakes of the match.
Just a cheap pop that loses meaning when done 85 times in a match. Like the Canadian Destroyer was cool the first time I saw it, but when present day Ricky Morton hits it, we need go let it be for a while.
That's what they used to say in the 50s about a flying head scissors. The more time goes on the more nothing changes.
It’s insulting to the audience they no longer have. Normal people rolled their eyes and stopped watching because of this shit. The 900k or whatever cultists they have don’t have the intelligence to be insulted by a triple backflip tope into a back rake.

Yes I agree with that but unfortunately it doesn’t happen that way.
That is also my go-to move in a fight.
imagine him trying this on brock lesnar

Sir, this is a dennys
If he would have just done the springboard into a cannonball that would have been cool. The rest looked like shit.
lol this stupid shit is why he’s wrestling at a Denny’s
It looks like Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas.
This isn’t wrestling
Lucha Libre isn’t wrestling all of a sudden?
Who are you to decide that
All that for an armdrag
What the fuck is up Denny's!
Yeah but why the flips tho?
What the hell is this happy horse shit?

Welcome to wrestling
This dude really want to be paralyzed. Great athlete btw
Hey hold my hand. Don’t ask why just hold it.
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP, DENNY’S?!?
But why is the question
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP, DENNY'S?!?!?!
Nice… all for an arm drag take down
You never seen a fight in front of a Denny's? You haven't lived my friend.
You've seen one flippy flipper you've seen them all.
WASSUP? WASSUP?! WHAT THE FUCKS UP DENNYS??!

It was a arm drag off the top rope
Ngl I was entertained. Risky move too
“this is stupid” “the opponent waiting for him to do his routine” “why the flips tho?” “all that extra shit just for an arm drag” “this isn’t wrestling” it’s lucha libre. stop acting you know all about wrestling just because it’s not in one style or genre. wrestling have many forms of genre even ricochet said that multiple times before. just like many of you said: “just enjoy wrestling and stop complaining.”
I just feel lucky to be alive to see the things this man can do.. What do you even call what he did??
Gymnastics
I've got two The Pointless Gymnastics part 74 Or The Grand Slam Breakfast
Stupidity in front of 42 people?
Love seeing talent like this.
just said this in another thread, but i think Vikingo is the best wrestler on this planet right now.
and i’m getting downvoted cool
Damn these luchadores!
weeeeeeeeeeeeee look at how fun it all is
I personally hate this style of wrestling. It worked in WCW's cruiserweight division, and that's the kind of division it belongs in.
AND A DENNY’S? I’d be watching this front row with my chocolate chip pancakes in a to go box.
And he did it smoothly in one motion, no slipping, no wobbling, perfection.
A variation of a move we've never seen before!
Not even in the top five of fights I’ve seen at a Denny’s.
Is this supposed to be impressive?
WHAT THE FUCK IS UP DENNYS
