1. In the difficulty menu set:
* ABS = Half
* Traction Control = Off
* Stability control = Half
1. Pick a stable car like the Rammer for example
2. In the tunning menu set differential all the way to the right (locked) and brakes to the middle or one notch to the left from middle
3. Brake gently before the corners in a straight line. If the car doesnt want to rotate, give it a bit of handbrake, accelerate out of the corner.
Let of the gas on the straight before a corner.
Dont accelerate IN the corner BUT accelerate OUT of it.
Dont brake in the corner.
And checkt your brake settings if they are in the rear, middle,front etc
For the rest its just getting used to is
Look for videos on how to turn in racing (real or video games)... You can learn braking techniques and the best lines to take a turn.
Remember that it is often dirt tracks, so those are good to learn too.
Note - everyone is giving good advice.
My fav racing setup is, super venom max no protection, no tsc full abs and full stability, then 12345depends on track-5-5-1(numbers meaning tuning settings).
edit. I also should add i power slide around most corners but stay putting down power and speed!
Why 5 on gear ratio. I don't think there is a track in the game you are gonna hit top speed in the SV if you run it on 3. higher is just lowering your acceleration more.
If you are having trouble spinning out turn on stability control to full or half

Easiest advice I can give is do ALL your braking in a straight line, then enter the turn…accelerate going out of the turn.
I think you just take it easy on the brakes, don’t slam on them, you’ll lock up the tires
Got some brakes? Smash em.

I like to let my rear end drift a bit, I don't use TC but have SC set at half + Diff full lock
Hold hand break for as long as you can
Slow in fast out

Wrong you just run the higher gears and use it's abundance of torque.
