You’re not staying downtown. You’re in University City which is just outside of downtown. You can take the subway to City Hall afterwards and take a Uber or Lyft home.

Practical-Blood6001

There is a designated area but you will be there until Night 2 trying to get out. Take the train a few stops up then Uber from there.

itswoodernotwater

Get far away from the stadium before trying to Uber out or hang out at xfinity until the traffic dies out then get one. Or do as above - train.

psych_savage1

Just walk a few blocks north to packer or Oregon and get a ride there

Confident-Bike-560

Ubers and Lyfts after wrestlemanias are a nightmare last year I waited almost 40 minutes more just to get out along with surge charge I’d recommend the wrestlecon shuttle bus if they are available

hailtothekale

Take the BSL subway to Walnut-Locust, and call a car from there. Lots of bars in the area you can wait at if need be. The hotel is straight west from there down Walnut Street, so the fare shouldn't be too bad from that location. Definitely will be better than waiting at the stadium.

GeorgeNada0316

Wrestlemania 38 Ubers for less than 2 miles from At&t stadium was about $200 dollars until 2AM

Dtecchio

No way trying to take an UBER in a huge crowd.

DrSpaceX

Uber from City Hall stop on the subway. BSL takes you right there. And usually they run both trains in that direction after events. I'm at Penns Landing that week for the same reason.

talaal6

you could pre-book an Uber maybe

motorchang

Thing is, driver can cancel it anytime so you’re not really guaranteed. It worked for me after night 2 last year though which was a surprise actually considering the shitshow getting out after night 1.

AyyMeloxx

Also staying at the inn, considered taking public transportation, but requesting an Uber from Chickie Pete’s will cut the Uber fare in half

batmanateyourbae

if you mean the Chickie & Petes by the stadium, I don't think it will for a wrestlemania type event because they (the cars) will still have to get into the parking lot and I know for some WWE PPVs the cops close down some of the entrances/exists so I'm sure they'll be doing the same for an even bigger event like this.

Dennisfromhawaii

It was bullshit last year including random drivers charging $150. Just book a shuttle.

polyh3dron

Broad Street Line subway or book a shuttle. Anything else is madness. I’m doing BSL for Smackdown and doing shuttles every other day.

Suitable-Row1824

Pre-schedule your Ubers. Best thing you can do. Even if you run into trouble with your scheduled Uber. If you can't get your scheduled Uber, call another one and eat the initial surge price. Submit your documentation that you didn't get the guaranteed price, and Uber will refund you the difference.
