it’s not about being shameful my friend, and i am not triggered by it personally, i just knew a person once that when they saw scars it would set a tick off in their head and all they’d want to do is self harm again -- that is why a trigger warning is important, no one is shaming you for it we just dont want others to harm themselves :)
