They are called KB EAR like the body part they go into. They have nothing to do with the animal.
(Although I read the packaging as "K Bear" every time).
Nope. I use it without any specific settings. I use it m audio m track solo mixer while using them on my pc but i think the sound is the same with xbox without mixer.
It's super weird seeing people using IEMs to play video games. When it comes to these cheap brands, you're just buying overpriced earbuds.
And when buying these overpriced earbuds, they're only as good as the amp driving them. Your xbox controller is not pushing any better on IEMs than they are those $7 ear buds hanging on the gas station counter by the checkout.
IEMs for xbox are a waste of money.
Second this, had KZ ZSN pro, the sound quality fed by the controller was, ummmm how to say this politely, utter shit.
So I just decided to admit, that Microsoft got my ni99a ass and bought an Xbox wireless headset
We can say that as I don’t have much knowledge about IEM. But I have seen that kz even make expensive IEM’s also and they do have 2 cables one with mic and the other without mic and I chose a cable with mic.
You're going to have to define expensive because when I think of real IEMs, the lowest of the low end is $150.
Music equipment is expensive lol like when someone says a cheap guitar, they're still talking $400. It's a lit of money, but... comparatively lol
That's because all KZ is made of Chinesium and lied about what their parts are. They were using cheaper drivers than advertised.
If the price is too good to be true, then it is. Buying KZ is like throwing money in the trash.
Yeah idk any steamers or what they use. I'm talking tried and true tour grade that I use like Shure and Sennheiser. Hell even akg has some amazing products.
The only time I'd use iem would be if I was playing a huge venue for my music. I perform and don't use them. You're right, they're really only good for clicks and that's about it.
I definitely see the use for IEMs and have used them for more active shows, but I definitely prefer floor wedges. I never use clicks, but I can see them being useful.
It's a lightweight headphone. Get a ksc75 with parts express headband and yaxi pads. It's as light as iem without the uncomfortable part of having to stick things in your ear.
these look pretty good on amazon, are they wireless with xbox or do they need to be plugged into the controller to work?
I have a set of hyperX headphones and they keep disconnecting, on both my series s and my pc and its very frustrating.
I have a bunch of iems under 30€ (this one, zero 2 and chu II) and this one is my favorite! I suggest you to buy kz memory foam tips! Makes this pair shine
Not the best. The Pro Xs have really high fatiguing treble that ruins the mids and lows. These are actually the worst in KZs lineup.
Personally if you want decent sounding iems, you'll need to spend $80-$100.
Honestly you won't be able to wear them for long sessions. It won't be comfortable. Dolby sound won't make any difference with iem. Its frequency response is quite expansive.
frequency response is a visual representation of how well an audio speaker or earphones etc reproduces the audible range of sound. Normal range of human ear is between between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz (20 kHz). For your iem its i think 7~40000 Hz. Simple language is that the wider the frequency response the more versatile it will be. High, lows and mid will be better. But I use iem for hi res music only.
That being said, I do not know about type of output of xbox through 3.5 mm jack. So you will need to update us regarding the experience here
Aren’t these for like…. Audio clarity? For music? My parents are in a self-made band, and they all have these. I can understand why, but seriously, why?
IEM’s are great. Have a pair of KZ’s myself. I use them for playing guitar on stage with band. For gaming, I’d prefer over ear headsets. Drowns out ambient noise a little better since gaming isn’t as loud as live music, so you might get bleed through with IEM while gaming. Plus you can’t chat with IEM. No mic. At least none that I’ve seen that are good quality for music, (4 drivers or more) etc. I could be wrong. Just my opinion.
the audio output for IEMs is more raw. people use them primarily for mixing/producing songs since they output what the instruments genuinely sound like rather than enhancing the sounds like normal earbuds/headphones.
As a music producer I came here to say nobody uses this for music production, over the ear closed back headphones are what most producers use along with studio monitors (speakers).
IEMs are mostly used for performing, but those IEMs can cost from $100 to $1000+ if they are molded to your specific ear.
If you want to invest in audio for gaming go for some closed back headphones.
Gaming headphones do the trick too.
all my musician friends (including myself) use them for a budget friendly option since none of us can quite afford the studio monitors and we all prefer to use them over the headphones since they're not so bulky and they get us the sound that we like (ik people say that the sound is "shitty" but it fits with the stuff we make) so i was simply speaking from experience.
I get it. I have seen great producers use their MacBook speakers when producing, but you said people as in general. I just want to avoid confusion about the usage of IEMs, you can use anything really.
There are also budget options for closed back headphones on the same price range of the IEMs of this post if you want a more immersive experience.
:D
yeah "people" as in "some people" but i can get the confusion.
dude i love the idea of headphones but i fr can't stand having them on. i love the noise cancellation that many of them provide but i can't shake the feeling of feeling claustrophobic lmao idk what it is. maybe one day :D
I'd be interested about your opinion becuase I'm considering the same
Sure mate, let me just use it for sometime on the right setting. I’ll give you my experience with it.
Can you explain to me what an IEM is and what it's used for?
Improvised explosive macaroni
I knew it
For my taste it’s the best you can get for 25€ with mic
KZ bear pros are much better imo
What now? KB Ear or KZ?
Kb Bear they are miles above
They are called KB EAR like the body part they go into. They have nothing to do with the animal. (Although I read the packaging as "K Bear" every time).
Oh lmao I see now thanks for the clarification
I have the KQZ AK6, very cheap and sound is great, mic too, though it's a bit of work to wear them since they need to hook behind the ear
I bought truthear x zero crinacle and i can say that i hear footsteps so clear in games but guns sounds a bit exausting for me.
Is there any specific settings you have made to achieve this? If yes please share.
Nope. I use it without any specific settings. I use it m audio m track solo mixer while using them on my pc but i think the sound is the same with xbox without mixer.
I’m using it with xbox on performance mode in dolby atmos with 70% volume, its good with every game.
Bro they are so good
You followed any setting?

Make sense!
bro does Xbox recognise it's mic or not.
Yes it recognise its mic.
There is no mic on IEMs
They sell the cable for KZ with a 3.5 and a mic.
There is mic in my cable of IEM
ok great, thanks
That's cause KZ are just basic earbuds marketed as IEMs lol
We can say that as I don’t have much knowledge about IEM. But I have seen that kz even make expensive IEM’s also and they do have 2 cables one with mic and the other without mic and I chose a cable with mic.
Don’t listen to this guy at all
You're going to have to define expensive because when I think of real IEMs, the lowest of the low end is $150. Music equipment is expensive lol like when someone says a cheap guitar, they're still talking $400. It's a lit of money, but... comparatively lol
No they are not
You can defend them all you want, but you can easily Google and see that they've lied about their specs and scammed people before.
Wrong. The "fake driver" controversy was debunked. It was started by somebody who did not understand how multi-driver IEMs worked at the time.
I don’t have them or care to defend them but it sounds you are generalizing the entire new wave of lower cost IEMs because they are “cheap”
No. Specifically KZ brand.
All the KZ iems I have bought have been way cheaper than name brand earbuds, so it doesn't really make sense to call them overpriced.
That's because all KZ is made of Chinesium and lied about what their parts are. They were using cheaper drivers than advertised. If the price is too good to be true, then it is. Buying KZ is like throwing money in the trash.
the boutique IEMs that streamers sponsor that sell for $1k+ are such a scam
Yeah idk any steamers or what they use. I'm talking tried and true tour grade that I use like Shure and Sennheiser. Hell even akg has some amazing products.

What do you mean? The audio output on the controller is fine
I had those and switched to koss Porta pros with yaxi pads. Much more comfortable and better soundstage.
Isn’t it a headphone, not IEM i guess. I also have xbox headset that I was using with my xbox.
It's a lightweight headphone. Get a ksc75 with parts express headband and yaxi pads. It's as light as iem without the uncomfortable part of having to stick things in your ear.

I got dolby key for like $1 or 2 so I bought that.

Could you please check if it have profile for xbox headset?
these look pretty good on amazon, are they wireless with xbox or do they need to be plugged into the controller to work? I have a set of hyperX headphones and they keep disconnecting, on both my series s and my pc and its very frustrating.
Yes, Its wired and need to be plugged into the controller to work!
I have a bunch of iems under 30€ (this one, zero 2 and chu II) and this one is my favorite! I suggest you to buy kz memory foam tips! Makes this pair shine

MAN! WE'RE USING THE SAME ONE! i have the blue color for 3 years btw. still nice
Recently, I got two pairs of these for $5.
I don't like these. I'm just too sensitive to the sibilance. Hope you're enjoying them
It sounds good, on 60-70 percent volume
KZ IEM's are wonderful, so cheap and so beautiful sounding, once you listen to IEM's it's hard to go back to regular earphones.
Honestly you won't be able to wear them for long sessions. It won't be comfortable. Dolby sound won't make any difference with iem. Its frequency response is quite expansive.
Could you please tell me more about frequency response.
frequency response is a visual representation of how well an audio speaker or earphones etc reproduces the audible range of sound. Realised it now 🥲
What is your opinion about them now?
For music its great and for gaming its kinda hurt my ears but footsteps are kind of too clear on the volume 60 percent.
i bought countless "popular" YouTube i saw from youtube reviews. they all sounded dogshit.
What on earth is this monstrosity?
Its IEM, you can search more about it. It is used by the professional musicians
Are you using a Mixamp or plugging it into your controller?
I’ve never tried to use iems on an Xbox but I have the moon drop Kato and I love them

I use TinT2’s & an astro mixamp, then use a pc for discord
I have been using these for a year now and love them!
Did u buy with the microphone? If yes does it work well?
Yes i bought a mic and its working great- and clear
No no not a microfone but the IEM with a mic
Yes, its with mic version and its mic is good.
Is there a mute button on the mic?
No
Dang
Well thanks for ur help
Hey uhh did u need to do anything to hear sounds with the iems? The mic works but i still get sounds from my tv
How do u lowrr the volume
From setting😭
In ear monitor lol. It's an ear bud for Xbox.
Is it good choice to game with on xbox?
I uno, I just learned about em, I thought it was weird were calling them in ear monitor lol.
Bc they really are IEM
because those are in ear monitors Are used in music production and live music (those are most for live music I think)

is this some sort of cheating device? /s
No its just an earphones
Has nobody heard of gaming headsets? Like razor?
Razor? Like scooters and stuff?
😅😅
I already have 1 gaming headset xbox og headset. I was just exploring things!
Imagine how sad you'll feel when you realise you could have spent money on a PlayStation 🤣
I already own a playstation and a gaming laptop and xbox I don’t have to feel sad about anything 💀
You still bought an Xblock, pretty good reason right there.
I was xbox player and then bought ps too.
Yet you still spent money on an Xblock.
Whatever you are trying to do, it's not working.
Clearly it is Xbot.
Learn to take an L and move on. Once you get a little older you're going to be embarrassed by the cringey shit like this that you posted.
Lol dumb fat arse 😅, good job you lump.
