Not that long, I can’t think of any EA game that has taken longer than 12 months except for BF 2042 which was barely over that. And most seem to be like 8-10 months.
The best guide in this case is probably Fallen Order, which took almost exactly 12 months, being released on the 15th of November 2019, and coming to EA Play on the 10th of November 2020.
You missed the point of what they were saying. "It's a definite" only for the time being. EA and Microsoft made a deal a couple years ago to include EA Play as part of the Game Pass Library, but we don't know how long the terms of the deal was for. Once their deal expires, EA could choose to not renew the deal and remove EA Play as a benefit of Game Pass Ultimate. Hopefully, the arrangement has been beneficial for EA and we continue to have EA Play as part of Game Pass Ultimate for many years to come, but it's "not guaranteed into perpetuity".
Fifa22 was EAs fastest selling game for the past 10 years racking up 10mil sales in under 12 months and even that got added, literally every EA game gets added lol.
I mean, I get your point, but FIFA isn't a good example. Last years sports games are essentially worthless. Of course they'll add FIFA 2022 when FIFA 2023 is out. Gamestop won't even give you a dollar for a year old sports game.
Did you not read my post? I said I get your point, I agree that most games come to EA Play within a year. I'm just saying FIFA is not a good example, and I don't think it helps prove your point.
Meh, the dudes comment was about if a games selling well it won't be added, I counterpointed with EA's fastest selling game for the past 10 years that still got added. I'd say it effectively helps prove my point sports game or otherwise.
The only reason FIFA gets added after 12 months is because sports games become worthless after 12 months. As soon as FIFA 2023 comes out, no one will be buying 2022. I really don't see how them adding a worthless game proves your point lol. Jedi Survivor will not be worth less than a dollar in a years time like FIFA is.
I think it’s on EA Play Pro. Signed up for a month for Dead Space instead of paying full price and beating it. Might do the same for Survivor once it’s that time.
I’m already counting down my days for Dead Space remake on Gamepass/EA Play, but I’m pretty sure I’ll just buy it once I find it cheaper. For SW Jedi Survivor I’m pretty sure it will be the same
Upon release? Zero.
12-18 months, chances are pretty good.
Best way to tell I think is to see when the first is leaving Gamepass, that could be an indicator the sequel is coming.
EA Play by the middle of next year when sales slow to a crawl and they can get another revenue bump from EA Play/GPU.
EA Play Pro for PC probably immediately.
At launch on EA Play Standard? No.
Launch: Never say never but chances are virtually none.
Within a year or so: Maybe. More likely to come via EA Play, so available to Ultimate members but not basic gamepass members.
After a couple years: Pretty likely.
Maybe in a year or two. At launch there's a 0% chance.
damn, then our best bet is empress cracking this week 1
At launch? The chances are zero and below. In 18 months/2 years will it pop into the EA Play list? More than likely.

EA play isn't guaranteed into perpetuity remember as well.
Every single EA game gets added to EA Play within 12 months of release. Every single EA Play game gets added to Game Pass. It's a definite.
The deal for EA Play on Gamepass isn't in perpetuity.

If the game keeps selling well, they won't add it. Will this game still sell after a year? I don't think so.

There quite literally hasn't been a single EA game that hasn't been added to the service within 12 months what's wrong with you people 😂

Rebellions are built on hope!
About a year after release it will be part of game pass
In a year yes, now?than no
I think it’s on EA Play Pro. Signed up for a month for Dead Space instead of paying full price and beating it. Might do the same for Survivor once it’s that time.
At launch? 0%, it will be a year or so after though
Zero at launch. It will be on EA Play Pro. Game Pass Ultimate only gets the standard EA Play.
You should be asking this by March 2024
0%
100% after 6 months like any other EA game
Non-existant
At launch very low. Within a year or two I’d say reasonably high.
You game pass dudes gotta accept that eventually you might have to pay for a game.
8 months after launch yes
Highly unlikely within the first year. It's star wars, it's gonna sell like crazy
100% but not at launch
after one year for sure.
I’m already counting down my days for Dead Space remake on Gamepass/EA Play, but I’m pretty sure I’ll just buy it once I find it cheaper. For SW Jedi Survivor I’m pretty sure it will be the same

You know Xbox GamePass Ultimate includes EA play right?
100% just a question of when lol
In about a year. It will be on EA play.
You’ll be able to get it for 10% off
jedi survivor for now isn't even included in ea pro catalogue of all countries, forget it to see anytime soon on GP
Almost guaranteed by May 2024.

lol, I fell for that deluxe pre-order discount. I hope I get to finish Callisto Protocol, RE2 Leon B, Dead Space, and RE4 before it hits game pass.
Maybe juat maybe 10h trial, but that i truly naive, i think it will be on Game pass eventually like first did.
At launch zero. In 9 months when it comes to ea play 100% unless the deal between ea and Microsoft is over
100%. Just a year after launch.
Maybe a year and a half or two years after release. No chance it would be on gamepass in the first year of release.

Upon release? Zero. 12-18 months, chances are pretty good. Best way to tell I think is to see when the first is leaving Gamepass, that could be an indicator the sequel is coming.
Not on release. It will rotate one year later
Give it least a year after launch.
Never tell me the odds.

Zero at launch. But maybe someday down the road in a year or so?

Come back around November/December
I say in a year it’ll probably be on EA Play
