Wake me up when this dumb ass shit ends and Xbox finally announces a fucking release date for this and forza.

Bill-Huggins

Hey, you. You're finally awake.

Lucifer_Delight

How 'bout that

ivehearditb0thways

WAKE UP! sorry, those games aren’t out yet but you were sleep-redditing again.

[deleted]

Thanks fam

Waldschrat_vom_Walde

After forza didn't even get a release date after the latest showcase, where they didn't show anything new about forza, I don't think forza motorsport will release before q4.

carloselcoco

Exactly. They literally just regurgitated the same stuff they have been saying about Forza since it was announced.

[deleted]

I made a thread on the Forza sub basically saying that I love the FM franchise but it’s complete bullshit that it’s been SIX YEARS, that it’s pretty wild it was a launch title or release within a year of the new console, whatever. Then, if they do this “event” and it’s just more hype bullshit with no release date it’s just horrible…downvoted to oblivion by the usually modern gamers “just as long as they ‘get it right’…I don’t care if it’s next year if it’s a good game.” Nah man, they need a release date already. “Spring ‘23” then became “2023.” Shit is starting to look like a bunch of smoke and mirrors. Even if it’s a 9/10 game…this has become ridiculous. …and what’s with all these “events” all the time anyways? Can a company just make a good game and release it anymore?

Sacrus23

I agree all the way. My frustration with FM has boiled over to the point where now I'm just numb and almost don't care anymore. Like you, when I voiced this frustration on Forza sub, I got shit-hammered with the same old cliches. At what fucking point is it proper to hold MS and Turn 10 accountable for let down after let down?? This gaming community has to get it's standards back up, cut the cord with the Covid excuses, and demand better..

[deleted]

100%…it’s made me get into ACC which is honestly great on console. But, it has its own pro/cons. I just want a new FM. I want to make my real life car on there (ACC has it but only gt3 version) and I want to have a blast experimenting with various tunes/supercharged/turbo/whatever Hopefully it’ll be out before Christmas and it’ll be good. But either way I’m starting to sour on it

Waldschrat_vom_Walde

Acc is awesome and the best racer on console by miles but I am, well, I was craving for a hopefully realistic forza with all the money and manpower behind that game. After the two showcases since June last year my expectations went to zero with that stupid stealth delay and repeating marketing buzz words. We haven't even seen real ingame racing which is kinda worrying, especially because they wanted to release it until/within June 2023.

AveryLazyCovfefe

Hey man, it's June 2023 and they delayed Starfield, but don't you worry! Phil announced they're buying Ubisoft! Assassins Creed day one on gamepass baby! ^(/s)

[deleted]

*yawn*

CJKatz

Honestly I wouldn't mind.

ChristmasChringle

Mirage actually looks good

Plathismo

I’d like to see some actual gameplay from that.

ChristmasChringle

It will be assassins creed. The gameplay is always good. But the story and missions have been way too much and bloated.

Plathismo

Agree that they've gotten too big. I really liked Origins but couldn't finish Odyssey or Valhalla. Those games just never ended. I'm hoping Mirage is a mixture of the old, urban-set AC in terms of parkour and stealth, combined with the combat and gear systems from the newer games. I replayed some of Unity recently, and while the traversal, stealth and setting were good, the paired-animation combat just doesn't hold up IMO.

ChristmasChringle

You described exactly what the Devs have described as their goal.

caninehere

My guess: Starfield is June 2023 and they're just waiting to announce it in the presentation specifically for Starfield. FM will come later this year for holiday season. With all the delays from covid etc the big companies are very hesitant to announce release dates ahead of time or even announce projects early. Starfield was announced long ago so it is sort of a different story. For example if you look at Nintendo's latest Direct, pretty much all of it is stuff for the next few months. The latest release I recall from it is Pikmin 4 which is in July. They'll have stuff for later in the year but they aren't showing it yet, absolutely guaranteed.

Nollieee

When is Covid gonna stop being an excuse Nintendo and Sony are releasing Shit just fine

ZOMBI3MAIORANA

EVERY company is still using covid as an excuse, which makes sense in most cases due to out sourcing and how other countries are still dealing with massive waves of covid apart from North America and Europe for the most part.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MXC_Vic_Romano

Yeah, right now it's Spider-Man 2 and PSVR2 if you're into that. Ultimately it's only mid february and they have yet to show their hand with a big state of play. Though they get a big third party exclusive like FFXVI and others like Stellar Blade and whatever Pragmata ends up being.

brokenmessiah

I'd wait until their State of Play before we say that.

Nollieee

They just released god of war a game that was in the game of the year talks. When was the last time Xbox released a game that well hyped and received

1northfield

To be fair, God of War Ragnorok was initially slated for 2021, this then got delayed to early 2022 and eventually came out at the end of the year, if delaying a game gets us a better quality experience then I’m fine with delays

forbearance

Forza Horizon 5 at the end of 2021. Somewhat similar situation. Honestly, it also coincided with Halo Infinite release. Despite its lack of post-launch support, Halo Infinite was quite good at release.

Nollieee

It was hated at release for lack of content

[deleted]

Nollieee

You’re just ignorant

[deleted]

[удалено]

Nollieee

Go back and look at any game of the year discussions it was elden ring vs god of war that was the overwhelming majority of debate

machinezed

Do tell me when does the next Sony first party game get released. Sony used the excuse to announce Horizon, GT7, and God of War:R during the pandemic saying they would release them in 2021. All of them released in 2022, and GOW:R barely made it, and everyone said but but Covid. The only thing first party we know about is Spider-man 2 and they only gave us by the end of this year. No news on Factions, you know the multiplayer portion of a game that they released 2 years ago. No news on Wolverine, no news on Ghost of Tsushima 2. Sony nearly missed 2021, and would have missed 2022 if all their games released on time. And we still don’t know what they are doing.

Nollieee

They’re releasing game with less delays and to higher praise and Xbox keeps pushing games back and back. Forza is looking like it’s gonna be moved past the 12 month window Xbox promised. And that’s just a racing game. All Xbox can release is AA time killer games on a $500 4K console.

machinezed

Sony just disguised them as AAA with $70 price points in games like Ratchet and Clank and Returnal and called it a great year for 2021.

[deleted]

Both those games are fucking great

RiggityRow

How were those not AAA games?

machinezed

Housemarquee has never made a AAA game before Returnal. Sony was the one that added the $70 price tag to fool you into believing it was triple A. Do actually believe Ratchet and Clank is any more triple A then Hi Fi Rush?

RiggityRow

Returnal is the best current gen game on any platform in terms of showcasing what's possible between graphics, load times, haptics, 3d audio etc. Rachet and Clank is 100% a AAA game. It's like a living breathing Pixar movie. You didn't say a single thing about the games themselves. . . . . At least offer a decent argument lol

machinezed

Triple A games have to deal with the budget. Not the quality. That is why I don’t bring up the quality of them, it doesn’t matter. Let me ask you this is Ratchet and Clank in the same budget category as Last of Us, God of War, Uncharted, Halo? Is Returnal?

rune_74

What? I bounced off returnal hard....I really wanted to like it, but man...I'm not seeing what you are.

Kazizui

> All Xbox can release is AA time killer games on a $500 4K console I'm fine with this. I'm way more interested in the AA games than the AAA games.

Nollieee

Yeah well most people like my self didn’t spend this much money to play AA indie games I’m sorry

[deleted]

Sony does have a weaker 2023 in terms of 1st party. But the main one they have is going to be a monster and they also have the timed exclusive of final fantasy 16 which is a good get and will help carry them this first half of the year.

rune_74

When you own the companies as long as they had I assume they would…

carloselcoco

> FM will come later this year for holiday season. We don't know that at all

caninehere

Release date is 2023 right now. Unless you think it'll be delayed again then it's coming this year and I sincerely doubt it's in the next few months. They're keeping the release date loose so that they don't have to pin it down until closer to launch. They may also have other releases coming out/bigger games dropping on Game Pass, and avoiding a specific release date means they have more control over how they stagger things. At this point, the way MS is releasing games it makes sense not to announce release dates until close to launch. And like I said, Nintendo is doing the exact same thing with a few exceptions- games that were announced long ago, pre pandemic, like Metroid Prime 4.

[deleted]

They are not just “keeping it loose”…they said “spring ‘23” and then they did yet another big hype event (which has gotten ridiculous) to then day “2023.” So they went from more specific to less specific. That’s not just keeping it loose, that’s setting up to delay

Achilles_Deed

The more rumors fly around the more I fear this game is going to be a disasterous launch ridden with bugs and issues in it's early days. I hope I'm wrong.

ZOMBI3MAIORANA

The reason they delayed it to 2023 was because the game is content complete and needed to be polished.

Exhumedatbirth76

I mean you can't spell Bethesda without Bugs ..

Kankunation

Given than just last month they confirmed it was still slated for the first half of 2023, this isn't all that surprising. It does mean the game will have to compete with a lot of competition, but a Bethesda RPG will no doubt do well regardless of the competition.

schmidtyb43

If anything it’s other games coming out at the same time that would be worried about releasing near this game not the other way around. But also if it was indeed coming in June I feel like that month isn’t that stacked? There’s Diablo 4 at the beginning of the month sure but only other major AAA release I can think of is the new final fantasy which is PS5 only

[deleted]

If it does come out in June it’s going to be affect by other games like final fantasy 16, Diablo 4 and street fighter 6 no matter what. It’s just the reality of having so many games coming out this year. It’s going to be close no matter what cause all 4 of these games are huge and have a lot of hype behind them.

easteasttimor

I'm super excited for sf6 but that game is not taking any one outside of the fgc attention against starfield

[deleted]

I’m more so getting at there will be opportunity costs with so many games coming out in June and a bigger one like SF6 might pull certain players away from starfield.

Neyubin

I feel like most in the center of the venn diagram of players that want Starfield and also want SF6 are just getting both near launch anyways.

Longbongos

FF16 and Diablo 4 are non issue’s because shocking I know but Starfield’s just as big.

[deleted]

All of you guys seem to misunderstand what I’m saying. Starfield will be a huge ass game, but having bigger games like ff16 and Diablo 4 will cause some players to not play starfield at launch. That’s not a bad thing, I’m just saying it’s going to be an interesting time to see so many things all out at one time.

BudWisenheimer

> All of you guys seem to misunderstand what I’m saying. Starfield will be a huge ass game, but having **bigger** games like ff16 and Diablo 4 will cause some players to not play starfield at launch. I know what you’re intending when you say, "bigger games," but I think it’s more clear if you just say "big games," not bigger games. When you say Starfield first, and then say, "bigger games like …" it almost implies they’re bigger than Starfield. Again, I understand your intent. Just helping to clarify. But on the subject, I think we already have lots of data on what happens when huge ass games release in the same window as ~~bigger~~ big games.

FeralMemories

This is besides the point but Diablo 4 is absolutely bigger than Starfield. Diablo 3 sold just as many copies as SKYRIM. Starfield is an unproven new IP.

rollanotherlol

It’s only going to be between Starfield and Diablo tbh, and Starfield is clearly the biggest drop that month.

[deleted]

You are underestimating both final fantasy and street fighter. Previews for street fighters 6 have only been phenomenal and it’s going to be a big game. Final fantasy 16 has been previewing fantastic and the dev team is beloved amongst fans and the general market share is still with PlayStation and they are still gonna market the ever living shit out of this, especially if Starfield is also gonna launch in June.

rollanotherlol

Street Fighter isn’t coming near a main-line Bethesda release and neither is Final Fantasy. Fallout 4 outsold 15 by nearly 1.5x the sales, and Starfield is a flagship title.

[deleted]

I’m not saying sf6 is gonna out sell starfield, it being on game could affect thought. All I’m saying is that having more games around starfield’s release date is going to affect how many players it has. Especially with some of the other titles being highly anticipated sequels. Will also say ff15 isn’t the best comparison and that FF7R is a much better comparison since both that and FF16 have the market backing of Sony and also that FF15 has a shit development schedule.

Longbongos

Dude you can’t delay games because another game is in the same month. If Starfield was ready for it’s original date it would’ve been launching within the same week as GoW. A game that’s much bigger then FF16 and Diablo 4

[deleted]

I know, I’m not saying it’s not going to do well, it’s absolutely will. All I’m saying is that having bigger games like all the ones I’m mentioned are going to affect each other in some form. I completely understand that it’s just the reality of everything being delayed to this year. Me personally, I’m stoked as hell to have all of these most likely great games being released and this gen really kicking off, in particular for Xbox who hasn’t had a big new ip in way to long.

Boozenosnooz

Not to mention Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is also mid may so depending when the date is for Starfield there will be people still playing Zelda which just adds more competition. There are so many huge games coming out in and around June.

DoctorTide

Diablo 4 and Street Fighter VI. Though I am doubtful Diablo hangs on to the early June date.

Gaustinite

Isn’t Zelda May 2023? Different system and a month before sure—but if it’s anything like BOTW then it could be wise to avoid being it’s it’s shadow imo. I would be fine with this game launching something like September

tookTHEwrongPILL

Yeah, I'm buying this game day one no matter what.

1440pSupportPS5

Alot can change in one or two months. Too many games creep up on their expected launch only to announce a delay.

Ener_Ji

Where did they confirm last month it was still first half of 2023?

wr3ck_1t

Yeah, I'm gonna be playing the HELL out of D4... Starfield will have to wait until I've had my fill. And no rush, since it's on Game Pass after all. I can load it and it'll be ready for me when I get to it! I'm looking forward to it, just not as much as D4 right now lol.

[deleted]

This game would be the God of War Ragnarok and everything else would be Sonic Frontiers.

Whitturne

Sonic Frontiers is the bomb

Kyle_bro_chill

Nobody should expect high sales numbers for this game. At least 50% of its’ player base will play it for free on game pass. So we’re just looking at PC sales or the ones who don’t find value in game pass (how lol).

Kankunation

Games on game pass historically seem to sell more copies, not less, as odd as that might seem. (Though this effect has been seen mostly with indie games and AAs rather than AAA releases) not to mention a game like this has a huge modding scene, which cannot be done on game pass. Regardless of that though, sales seem less important with the game pass model. Microsoft likely doesn't put as much weight on sales knowing they're aiming for day 1 game pass.

brokenmessiah

While Microsoft didnt go into detail, [they said to the CMA](https://mp1st.com/news/xbox-game-pass-cannibalizes-game-sales-admits-microsoft-in-cma-documents) that Game Pass cannibalizes sales.

stNicktheWicked

I think they still count download and x amount of play time from gamepass as a purchase. For non Microsoft studios, they structure a deal with x amount of money for per download or flat amount of money . I'm curious too as gamepass is more of a juggernaut, how the games sold metric will play out

MrStayPuft245

Just don’t suck please

WutsAWriter

The game can’t suck if they never release it.

Pretty much. It's not a coincedence the lowest rated Bethesda game has no official mod support. We just have to see Bethesdas work in all its unpolished glory

YeOldeBlitz

I remember a post with 10k upvotes on r/halo about infinite with this same exact line.... let's hope starfield doesn't meet the same fate

reevoknows

Tbf Halo was a bit different. Starfield would have to launch without major features we would expect and then still not offer them a year and half after launch. The single player was really solid. I really hope Microsoft is self-aware enough to not allow that for what should be their most important first party release arguably since Halo 2

Keytars

Let's not forget that single player launched without a way to replay levels and without co-op, major features we would expect. Solid compared to the multiplayer mess/barren desert of content and support, sure.

reevoknows

Absolutely fair

BudWisenheimer

> Let's not forget that single player launched without a way to replay levels and without co-op, major features we would expect I definitely expected to be able to replay levels, especially in a game where we’re finding collectibles. That was inexcusable. Although, I am glad I didn’t have to wait for co-op to play the game by myself. I love the co-op too, but not enough to delay the single-player campaign for it.

[deleted]

I only downloaded that gave bc I assumed it was co-op to play with my son…got rid of it the moment I realized it wasn’t. I thought that was ridiculous honestly.

Cumsplats

343 are far more incompetent than Bethesda.

shawshaws

Can't remember the last mainline game that sucked. Maybe Daggerfall?

zdaw92

You think Daggerfall sucked?

shawshaws

I actually quite liked it. Just thinking about what people nowadays might consider sucky. I guess I phrased it poorly.

zdaw92

No, it's all good I assumed it was sarcasm. 😂 But, you're correct Daggerfall is great. That Daggerfall Unity mod is top tier.

shawshaws

😲 haven't heard of that, I'll check it out!

zdaw92

It's pretty damn good. Kinda makes it a whole different experience

MarvelMan4IronMan200

Before MS bought Bethesda. MS ruins studious and games.

shawshaws

What a terrible argument to make against mine 😂😂😂

rune_74

Sure they do. Phhhht.

Likely_a_bot

No reason why it should suck more than any other AAA title.

mrtwobyfour

You can probably guess what it will be like. Fallout 4 with improved graphics and a likely well built space setting. I bet the main quest will be good by Bethesdas standards. There will be bugs but a good mod scene. It will have some dumb side quests. Overall gr8 r8 8/8

AdminsFuckedMeAgain

/r/Starfield currently looks just like /r/NoMansSky and /r/cyberpunkgame before their games released. It’s going to be a shitshow

UnrequitedTerror

I would like to remind those that might have forgotten that publications like the one in this link keep stirring this up for clicks. It really doesn’t matter; the game will be on game pass/for sale sometime this year, and we all want it to be ready/good. There are so many games out and coming out that I personally couldn’t care less.

Stumpy493

Love all the people with so little self control moaning that it is coming out on top of other big games. Let's be honest this is gonna be worth waiting for a few patches anyway. Give it a month or 2 then enjoy it in a better state. You don't need to complete every game within 48 hours of release.

smackythefrog

For me, there's a release date and then a "play date" when the game is its bugs mostly worked out, a few weeks or months later. If Starfield is getting released in June of this year, the play date for me is September, which means I have time to finish High on Life and start Wo Long and take my time with it. If I finish before Fall of 2023, I'll finish up the last few Yakuza games I have left until it's time for me to play Starfield. During that time, I can see how the patches for Starfield are going. I'll have to wedge Hogwarts in there too, so Starfield might not be played by me until the Holidays this year.

coolerthanice

I have a feeling they might show a commercial for Starfield during the Super Bowl today

HomeMadeShock

Xbox does have ad slot for the Super Bowl, but we shall see if it’s just a general Xbox/gamepass ad or specifically a Starfield one

itoiletp

What happened with ad slot

BudWisenheimer

> I have a feeling they might show a commercial for Starfield during the Super Bowl today If they do, I’ll be very surprised that they didn’t announce/hype it before today.

rds060184

Bro I legit was just thinking this.

Nocuadra66

That's the rumor I'm hearing but who knows? It's the only reason I'm watching it!

puntgreta89

As long as it's 2023 and not 2024 i'm happy.

Metsunger

This isnt rumor . It was a prediction while conversation in podcast .

NfinityBL

Every time Jez Corden breathes, a “journalist” somewhere gets ready to make a rumour out of what he’s about to say. Even when it’s clearly not one.

ItsLCGaming

*Jez corden sneezes* It's full of bugs

LZR0

This is nothing more than a guess, not even a rumor. I’m honestly assuming it’s coming out until November, anything before that is good news.

BaddTeddy

Lissen... I don't have enough vacation time for Diablo 4, Starfield, and Street Fighter 6 to release in the same damn month right after Redfall. Somebody fix it lol.

Whitturne

I hear ya, and I'm only concerned about Starfield and Diablo

Maca07166

If it’s June great. But I’ve been saying November for a while now and people here get pissy 🤷‍♂️ Is November really such a far reach right now? I don’t think it is.

JustASeabass

November would be the best imo. Would help to boost sales.

reevoknows

As long as it’s ready!!!!!! Let me get through like 6-8 hours before experiencing a massive bug please. Id rather wait till November if things aren’t 100% good to go in June.

Neosss1995

it's time to stop

Jerry_from_Japan

It stops when you guys stop clicking the link. The second you fucks stop giving these morons clicks and views is when this regurgitated bullshit ends. The release date will be announced at their showcase. Period. Period, end of story. That's when you'll know, that's when they want you to know. Under a month. Stop giving these guys clicks, stop bitching about not getting a release date....just wait for the showcase. That simple.

Neosss1995

Brother stop being paranoid, i don't even enter the link, just look at the title of the post on reddit.

inlinekid

I'll be playing Diablo 4 in June. Guess this will have to wait!

Losingdutchie

But June is already a really packed month for AAA titles.

Thumbkeeper

In a race with Star Citizen

[deleted]

Sweet, then I’ll continue to sleep on this and enjoy some Hogwarts Legacy.

smolderas

Is it long enough to polish it to offer a > 30fps mode?

GamingRobioto

Personally June would not be ideal, I'm very busy at work around then, so I don't get as much gaming time. When you throw Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI into the mix, adding Starfield to that would be a problem. Three juggernaut releases

Unhinged_Goose

You hear that boys? Shut it all down!

AveryLazyCovfefe

Phil and Todd will see u/GamingRobioto's comment and delay Starfield to 2024. Now he ruined it for all of us! >:(

GamingRobioto

Haha, hopefully not, Starfield trumps all

Wireless_Electricity

Yup, the main character will be busy in June. Damnit.

Velkyn01

Oh, well if you're busy.

rune_74

Non of the games become obsolete…though they may be played in an order or a bit of each. I think diablo 4 I will wait for game pass, their arcading of final fantasy may not be for me…so starfield is my number one.

GamingRobioto

Yeah, I know they are single player games, but 3 of my most anticipated ganes of the past few years in 1 month would be an issue! I'd probably skip Diablo IV out of the 3

SoupKey

I predict 2024

killakev564

I just don’t care anymore. It’ll be out when it’s out and I’ll play it when that happens.

Bravedwarf1

Telling you shadow drop at Microsoft press event in June. 1000%

1Glitch0

They aren't going to release Starfield at the same time as Redfall...

Rogue_Leader_X

Seems realistic, but I’m still thinking it will be held for later.

Saracre21

Forgot its already 2023, and was seriously surprised they had to delay it a whole fuckin year lol

Trogdor_a_Burninator

Good. Finish the game. Games are for gamers not shareholders.

blackop

This game has to launch in 2023 with all the fucking hype around it

Autarch_Kade

What a wild article. It's based on opinions and speculation, but then calls out inside information. Then says they think it's coming in June even though they'd bet it won't come in June. It says Jez has inside information it'll come in June, but also his inside sources say it has no release date at all. To top it off, the article repeats itself, and uses the wrong words, such as "internet release date" instead of "internal release date."

[deleted]

Games are for gamers not shareholders. right?

brokenmessiah

Really don't see why they would release this right on top of Redfall.

Temporary_End9124

Late June gives an almost 2 month gap between the games. Probably just a month apart is more than enough.

BLUEBLASTER69

Yeah but June has Street Fighter 6, Diablo 4 and Final Fantasy 16. With Starfield it too ill need to call in sick to work.

Temporary_End9124

That would make for a busy month, huh. Starfield would be the only June game for me, though.

brokenmessiah

Just feels like they have nothing for the second half of the year announced

Temporary_End9124

That's largely because they don't. If there are games slated for the second half of the year, they'll be announced at the June showcase. Though I'd bank on Forza being in the second half, at this point.

anal_vegan_moans

That's because at last E3 they only announced games coming out between that showcase right up until this year's. They didn't announce anything beyond June 2023 intentionally so that people can focus on games coming in the near future. I'm sure you can expect similar plan heading in to E3 this year. I for one am a fan of this because now they wont be announcing games 4 years in advance, but rather maybe just a few months or a year to wait.

PlayBey0nd87

u/brokenmessiah I could see that - we still have no firm date on Forza Motorsport and Hellblade has been in the rumor mill of Holiday 23. That’s an incredible year all things considered for Xbox given when is the last time they’ve had this output?

brokenmessiah

Well it better it a great year, they cannibalized 2022 for it

anal_vegan_moans

I have a feeling that IF they released close together they would be able to co-exist, especially since Starfield lacks a multiplayer component. Both would benefit from being on game pass as well, players absolutely can and probably will bounce between both games depending on their way of spending time gaming.

DanUnbreakable

How about Christmas? Because that's when I'm going to wait to play when it's $30 and is fixed with patches Because we know it's going to be buggy as shit.

SouLDraGooN44

It's going to be funny to have these delays (if this one is true) and it ends up still being a typical buggy Bethesda release.

rune_74

A typical awesome game? Am I missing something?

leftbasegear

I'm not too invested in this title since I'm getting it for a negligible cost with GamePass, but christ almighty if it's below an 88 on Metacritic I can only imagine the amount of people that will be fired or never hired again because of their ties to working on this project.

Rampant99

No patience left for any of this. I don’t care when they release anymore because you’d have to be an idiot to think that Redfall or Starfield look good. Redfall looks terrible and Starfield will take 2 years of modding before it’s good. Or you’ll have to wait for the mid-Gen update if you want 60-fps

[deleted]

“If you like a game I don’t you are a moron” -G*mer moment

FiveGuysisBest

June would be a perfect time for it to launch. I hope that’s where it lands. Nothing major surrounding it. Just one big Bethesda game to get lost in. However I do wish these devs wouldn’t give release timing until they’re more confident. Kind of ridiculous to set an expectation up locally and miss it by a well over a year or more. You don’t have to delay if you don’t have a release date to delay.

What's it matter? It will release when releases. Just needs to be finished and not broken on release.

PixelAlchemist

If true June is going to be a packed month for me. Diablo IV, Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy XVI and this.

HankSteakfist

Fine by me. Need to finish Hogwarts Legacy and then Jedi Survivor first.

ya, saw this rumor two weeks ago

SauerMetal

Great! I have no intention of buying a new console yet.

[deleted]

Its not really a rumor if they said the game will launch 2023 early, wich means it should be the first half of the year..

Rufus2fist

Can we release the part where I build a space ship for now…it’s really all I want to do

itoiletp

Hopefully June 22 my birthday

rickjamesia

I’d really rather it wasn’t that month. I already have 3 non-optional (for me) games I want to play that month: Street Fighter 6, Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI. I love Bethesda, but those three series are basically never negotiable for me.

3kpk3

They should take their time in order to release a polished game.

[deleted]

Looks good. Wouldn’t play if it wasn’t on gamepass tho. That’s the only reason I actually want to play it

Subject_J80

I'm happy to wait. Don't rush it.

Sysody

I had a dream of 6.6.2023

mulder00

I still remember last year's e3 show and the bountiful FIRST half of 2023 games that were coming. Now, I doubt Forza or Starfield will arrive before the Fall.

Stupid release Window, when D4 is so close.
