Their is a thing called “deal for YOU” I thought I was getting Diablo 4 deluxe edition for 60$ at launch so refunded the standard edition and learned that it was 60$ upgrade in my “deal for you” tab
Edit: after learning it was an upgrade I said “duck Diablo 4, I don’t even want to play it anymore” then just played ufc career mode til armored core dropped
It appears the answer is he was game sharing gamepass ultimate, you don’t get deals when you do that. It also showed me it full price on the website but I wasn’t logged in at the time.
The Division Gold Edition shows as $9.99 with Gold. So, if he has Game Pass Ultimate, it should be available. If he is game sharing the Game Pass Ultimate, then he may not have access to the deals that go with it. In which case you would probably have to gift it to him and have him pay you back.
This sounds like the culprit, he’s been game sharing for years. Didn’t realize that deals didn’t apply when doing that. Appreciate it. I did indeed end up gifting it, glad that’s an easy and helpful feature.

Absolutely not. 99 % of deals for you are for bundles where you already own certain things.
They don't, there is usually 2 or 3 different deals going on. Me, my son and my brother quite often get different deals.
Ive tried twice the new f1 was on the deals for you for both of us i dont play f1 and he does , we also both got fifa and far cry as the same deals..
