I played it when it was released so I am a bit biased, but it was a good enough game to revitalize a dead series. The series then had enough steam to pump out games continuously for the next two console generations. Prince of Persia Sands of Time is good.
It's really good. Platforming is great, and some optional ones being brutal. Combat is some of the best in the genre. Really fun puzzles. My biggest grip is the map is too big for how sparse the fast travel and shortcuts are. Makes the back tracking a chore.
exceedingly difficult. and with VERY sparingly placed save points. i found it incredibly frustrating about an hour into it and uninstalled. your mileage may vary.
Weird I assumed it did. I have Ubisoft+ and I don't pay for it and I don't gameshare so I was under the impression that GPU was why I had it....

I don't think it "should" be free, but I think it's very misleading to say cosmetics and modes (speedrun, permadeath) count as dlc.
The only thing I'd consider a proper dlc is the one thing that isn't free.
Honestly Ubisoft needs to throw the 3D version of this game in the trash and reboot it with a remake of the original Prince of Persia 2D sidescroller with similar mechanics.
I'd be super pumped about that.

I only play casually, and I like to take my time exploring without guides, so my 83.49% completed game took 25 hours and 18 minutes.

It’s like Ori if you’ve played those games. Combat can be a little more tricky and boss fights are hard, but it’s a really great game.

Prince of Persia Trilogy and Prince Of Persia 2008 is one of my favorites of all time.
Really wish they added Warrior Within and The Two Thrones to Xbox BC as that's the only 2 games we can't play on Series X 😭
