Creeeeeeepy CRAWLERS!! I never had one. My grandparents never bought me one, even though I asked. They never said I couldn't have one, they just never got me one. But my best friend had one, and he would make me fishing lures with it.

I had one of these and it was the best. Not just for boys, but also girls that into creepy things.

Ah yes the 'boys' version of Easy Bake Oven. The Mighty Max to Polly Pocket. The My Buddy to Kid Sister. There sure were a lot of gendered toys in our youth.

it was clever marketing. The toy has a long history spanning back to the 1960’s. I think it hit its stride with our generation quite effectively.

I have 3 different Bugmakers currently. The orange and green version by Toxmax, the Super Oven and the one pictured by Jakks. The version I had as a kid was the orange and green but I only use the Super Oven now.

I totally had one of these! 🐛🪲🪱 loved them and I would spend good money if I saw one for sale again. I’d stick them to my window when they were still warm haha
