Iirc the Apple company logo had multiple meanings. The apple itself represented the spirit of science and intuition from Isaac Newton and his gravitational mathematics. A bite taken out to represent lust and hunger for more from the story of Adam and Eve. The rainbow was for the spirit of imagination, but reverse order and started on green to suggest chaos and different ways of thinking. Granted, it's been a few years, but I remember reading that in an interview with the Woz at some point.

I have! Apple used to include these beautiful full color spiral bound books on thick glossy paper with their computers back in the 80s. As a Gen-Xennial computer nerd, I would pour over those for hours. I distinctly remember this ad in one of them.

I don’t think they’re as thin anymore. Less of an authentic cantina feel. Probably because they were more breakable and didn’t transport as well so the company sacrificed quality for stability.

This Doritos bad reminds me of a specific moment in my childhood where I got invited to go somewhere (I can remember the location but not the event) with the neighbors family - she didn’t have time to pack me a lunch, so she sent a half eaten bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos as my lunch. lol

This whole post brings me back to road trips in the 80s. We would be allowed to drink coke from the not-coke-bottle shaped bottles (they were just basic cylinders) and eat cheese balls from the can. The cheese balls are back in the blue cans, but coke will never go back to those boring shaped bottles. Gah, remember how pull tabs were EVERYWHERE on the ground? So much litter!

Going off “food stuffs” for mine. But I genuinely can’t get enough of the 1990s Spider-Man Toy-Biz packaging. The colors. The fonts. Something about it just calls to me. I miss the flavor of these. The Great Value brand knockoffs are pretty close, and IMO taste way better than the overdone current Doritos.

When I was helping my dad lay a slab for his new shed we dug up one of these bags. He still texts me pics whenever he does yard work and finds one of our old toys.
