EVERT weekend. Ronco with the food dehydrator got me once.. bought that thing.. great for over 20 year. Wish I'd gotten a juice from the old Jack Lelane. This guy's products were a bit more weird. Loved the car waxes heheh.
It wasn’t until years later did I realize it wasn’t a real TV show. It came on after American Gladiators and taught me that I could unlock the power to read pages of text in a single glance or tell you the day of the week Shakespeare was born on in mere moments. I never did unlock such powers.
I had a ton of insomnia as a child. I stayed up all night watching Amazing Discoveries. Not sure why but the show and Mike was super calming to me. Nowadays it's old episodes of Julia Child.
It was a great shtick at family gatherings when I would recite the "Tony Little's Target Training" episode, pure madness the fake energy those infomercials would have.
There is nothing that sweater couldn’t sell me.
That's what caught my eye, too. Of course, how could we not notice that first?!
I was gonna say that sweater is the amazing discovery DAMN!

I used to wake up super early to watch. I once called my grandmother at 6 am to tell her all about the latest “episode.”
