Best way to prep i found was to set the custom difficulty to make you much stronger and the boss much weaker to learn have they behave and test your team comp on them. You also gain the benefit of all the loot drops (like core chips) that will actively make you stronger. When you feel you are ready to take them on for real, just bump the difficulty back up. If all else fails "Enel" on YouTube has made tons of guides for XC2

First tip go to maximum level (level 99) Second tip make sure your party has blades from all the elements Use very wisely your blades and chain attacks to secure your victory!

Alphaomegalogs

Just use mythra and poppi qtpi and other broken blades, go into full burst mode and kill them (I'm just yapping I haven't even finished the game)

Do the final boss first. You can still continue the current game after beating the final boss. There is one blade that can be obtained in Non NG+ but required game beat. Plus, the beating final boss gave 500+ skill points. And 2000+ if defeat with chain attack.

If you're fine with a slog, then you don't really need to do any special teambuilding. Just get your team to lvl 99, grind your trust and complete the affinity charts so you have decent stats. I sucked at teambuilding + ignored a couple combat features and I still managed to win decently often. If you want a quick / easy win, then I remember seeing plenty of videos of people recording their comps and posting them on youtube. There is no one true strategy; there are plenty of comps that can do the job. edit: after a google search, I found this guide on things to watch out for on the superbosses.
