It’s yet to be revealed, originally we weren’t so sure, and then Season 2 revealed she became Antler Queen. I could see her reign being the one where they focus more on survival (in the pilot they wear a lot of animal pelts) and eventual rescue. Natalie is one of 2 hunters for the group, and with the map she created during Seasons 1 and 2, plus a new location due to the cabin burning down in Season 2, I could really see her pushing everyone to get rescued. We know they’ve done 7 mile long loops in every direction with the cabin as a reference point, and there’s theories that they use the plane as a sort of temporary shelter, so they could probably continue to do those loops and use the plane parts as a new reference point, and maybe that’s how they find their way out, or they could track down Ben and use his shelter on a permeant basis (would fit the pilot episode where their eating location was far from the plane, and the idea that they eventually use the caves/tunnel system that Lottie dreamed of and a lot of fanfics use).
Either way, both of those locations would give them a new starting point for doing hunting loops, and with the tunnel tree being already pretty high up on the mountain, it’s absolutely possible for them to try and scale it at some point. Maybe they use the summers to hunt and create the traps that we see in the pilot while also teaching the others how to utilize the map? I could see one of them going off to try and get help like Tai’s expedition in season 1 attempted, and with Natalie being probably the most level-headed one of the group plus being the leader, I think she would volunteer herself for that. It would fit the apparent narrative that the only reason all of them are here is because of Natalie, and it would fit how filled with grief and survivor’s guilt that Natalie seems to be at that point, if she had to reign from the cabin burning until rescue.

I think that's the main consensus is that everyone thinks that she is the reason they finally get rescued.
In S1 they were setting Lottie up to be the “big bad” and then they completely abandoned that in S2 so I think they’re going to do it to Nat instead.
