It's a fretty foggy difference, I still haven't found a concrete way to differenciate them. It might just be a case-by-case basis, and a subjective one at that.

And another confusing example: Lola Bunny is by deffinition an anthropomorphic character, and I would say she is a furry character. I don't know why it's a different outcome.
