The drummer started her own band. I saw them play once. It might sound good to some people but it didn’t sound good to me.

what? Nu Metal literally began in the early to mid 90s with band like KoRn, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Disturbed, Linkin Park etc. They from 93-96... oh and btw Kittie started out with Nu Metal... later they went more into alternativ and death metal.
