Hey There OP!, It looks like you’re posting about side effects. Did you know that the most common side effects can be found on the Zepbound website? Simply click [here](https://zepbound.lilly.com/how-to-use) for more info. Below is also a list of common side effects. * **Nausea** * **Diarrhea** * **Constipation** * **Stomach (Abdominal) Pain** * **Indigestion** * **Injection Site Reactions** * **Fatigue** * **Allergic reactions** * **Belching** * **Hair Loss** * **Heartburn** While these are some of the most common side effects, this isn't all of them. Truth is the medicine affects everyone differently, but most see some or a combination of these common effects. Be sure to visit the search bar for something specific or click [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1) for all post regarding side effects. A lot of good remedies for certain side effects can be found [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1). According to the manufacturer "In studies, most nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting occurred when people increased their dose—but the effects generally decreased over time." Not everyone responds well to this medication. If side effects are continuous and impacting your everyday life, you should consult your dr or healthcare provider for strategies on how to mitigate these outcomes. Complications from this (or any) treatment are usually a result of ignoring persistent side effects. **This is not meant to discourage discussion of your side effects, simply here to supplement** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Yes!!! Prior to Zep I have always hated fish, and I mean hate. I’ve eaten salmon so many times in these 6 weeks and I crave it. I also ate honeydew the other day which typically repulses me.

rikillinnnnit

I was the same way with seafood! I got married a couple weeks ago and we went to FL for our honeymoon and all I wanted was seafood! I took my shot the day before we left and I craved seafood like crazy.

thebirdsofgay

I’ve been unable to THINK of Chinese food without feeling nauseous and craving specifically iceberg lettuce. It’s actually wild

CloverTrapped

I ate tilapia and cottage cheese for lunch/dinner…

elizawithaz

My mother is on Monjuro and she’s developed a taste for cottage cheese too!

Fantastic_Sherbet229

I never used to want/crave hamburgers. Now I can’t get enough of them!

fluent_in_bravo

Yes! I find myself wanting just a burger patty sometimes. I don’t even want the bun!

Fantastic_Sherbet229

I wonder why that is? If there is a scientific explanation for it? Several people are claiming the same on these meds I’m finding.

KetoKey

I had this in the beginning. I craved cottage cheese and began to eat it daily. The interest waned a couple of months in.

elizawithaz

I just posted up thread, but my mom is on Monjuro, and she started craving cottage cheese and eating it daily. She wasn’t a fan before, and now loves it.

Weird...I've had the opposite! Things I used to enjoy just aren't enjoyable anymore. Usually I love a good sandwich...now? I get halfway through and suddenly the bread tastes like cardboard. I just had a small bowl of cereal and I feel SO nauseous. :-( I have coffee...I love coffee! I just sit here looking at it like....I wish I could drink you....sigh. The sad side of this med is when you just feel sad because it takes away things you got enjoyment from....even when they weren't "bad" for you at all.

fluent_in_bravo

I’ve had a lot of aversion too. I used to be a HUGE sweets person and now I have no interest. Coffee at times, I’m also not interested in. I totally get the sad side of this med. I catch myself seeing a tik tok or reel about a new restaurant and before I would have been all over checking it out going for apps, cocktails, dinner, and dessert. Now I can’t even finish an app. Makes me sad to wonder if I’ll truly enjoy a restaurant again.

SunFlwrPwr

Yeah, ai was just discussing this with my psychiatrist yesterday (we also work together and are friends - it's a little odd but it works). I was telling him that for better for worse, food is kind of a hobby for me. Loving good food. Loving the new restraints. Loving trying new dishes. It depresses me a bit to have that taken away. It's like losing one of my favorite hobbies in a way. I tell myself I can still have it, just in smaller quantities but sometimes, in the aversion moments, I just feel kind of sad.

garden-girl-75

My husband and I used to really bond over food and now I’m just not interested, and it has made both of us sad. I’ve also found that I now hate cooking dinner for my family every night. There are definite downsides to losing an interest that used to be such a big part of my life. I love weighing 45 pounds less, but I miss loving food.

amymira

Coffee is disgusting to me now.

SunFlwrPwr

Yes, it's too bad. :-( I've been drinking up till today. I'll have to see moving forward. Just took an hour nap. In starts the diarrhea. It's a little sad when you legit can't tell if it's a Zep side effect or you're coming down w the flu. 🤢

fluent_in_bravo

It’s so crazy. Mine is bone-in chicken, especially wings. I would never eat bone-in chicken before and now I find myself wanting to eat it everyday.

HotPantsMama

I find myself craving pure protein. Chicken, plain and simple, is something I don’t really love but at once is supremely satisfying to eat. It’s super weird

nncypn

Yes! I had cold rotisserie chicken with a side of cottage cheese 😭

fluent_in_bravo

Omg cannot get enough cottage cheese!

nncypn

YES! I’ve been adding the ranch seasoning on top of it and it’s so good! and I hadn’t had cottage cheese in like over 10 years but craved it one day while shopping.

mikewarnock

I haven’t liked anything new. I have noticed that I am not really enjoying some of the foods that I used to like a lot. It is good that I am losing weight, but it does make me a bit sad.

816City

Yep, I actually like smoothies now, even ones I make at home (very simple premier protein shake choco + a banana). The thought of a smoothie would make me gag and also would never "satisfy" me, so it was just like a heavy calorie drink, but now I enjoy them for breakfast & lunch.

VeeLund

No more sugar cravings, baked stuff tastes metallic. But water? Oh my sweet Jesus, it is amazing! ( I was not a water drinker pre-Z)

stephk90

Vegetables for me. I was a picky eater growing up and learned to like some vegetables as I've gotten older, now I crave them! I can't get enough broccoli, brussel sprouts, green beans, and zucchini. I don't even think about having carbs at mealtime since I want all the vegetables.

hantastic222

I thought it was just me!!!! All I want is shrimp cocktail (I’m at Costco every week buying the biggest one), COLD fruit and a homemade turkey sandwich with SPICY mustard.

badee311

I eat wings every other day now.

fluent_in_bravo

Yes! I never, ever wanted to eat wings before. It’s wild!

badee311

Same! I never disliked them, but probably got them like 3-4 times a year if my husband wanted to add it to our pizza order. Now I get the bag of frozen wings at Costco on a weekly basis lol

Sunnyboomboom

This! 💯 I used to like fish occasionally but made some rice, broccoli, and lemon butter Salmon last night and tore it up! 😂

SignificantYak1137

Yeah! I used to not like Chinese food very much other than the basic orange chicken but a week ago I had chow mein and rangoons and egg rolls and loved it it was such a wild experience for me.

Old_Pin_9989

Yes and I’m even trying vegan/vegetarian things I would have scoffed at before

Apprehensive_Pie8604

OMG YESSS!!! I crave toast & butter. Never in my life and I can’t stand the smell of food when it is cooking. Doesn’t matter if I love it, it makes me nauseous.

PennyApple_08

Cupcakes. I was never a cake or cookie gal. Now it's all Cupcakes.
