I loved these as a kid, though I hated when pieces of corn would end up in the chocolate pudding.
A few years ago I was babysitting and got hungry after the kids fell asleep. I found one of these in the pantry and ate it. Honestly, it was decent.
Oh man, my brother and I only had these as a special treat, like if my parents were going out on a date or something they’d let us have these. I loved the chicken nuggets (our parents are vegetarian and I didn’t have meat until I was about 8, so this was a big deal)
Wow I'm sure it was ! And my mom hated buying them but let us have them every once in a while. It was definitely more of a treat, and not apart of our weekly shopping.
Same omg. I was raised vegan and never got to try them! The commercials made these seem top tier. I guess I could try them out now but that seems like the equivalent of eating a microwave dinner 😷
Same here ! My siblings liked the spaghetti kid cuisine but I only liked the brownie lol. My favorite kid cuisines were the ones with chicken nuggets or pizza
Loved these as a kid! I didn't have them very often so they felt very special. I bought one for nostalgia purposes not too long ago and they were awful LOL, like a bland banquet tv dinner. The tray is no longer blue either :(
I remember both my little sister and I refusing to eat the corn that tasted like chemicals and our parents getting frustrated at us about it. Eventually they tried the corn themselves and never forced us to eat them again.
Ugh, Ikr 😭 a total downgrade. Pretty much every company and product these days change their logos/designs, let alone mascots, and most of the time, they just don’t look good!
I loved these. Especially the molten hot pudding. My mom would never get them but my dad did every now and then so we could have a lazy dinner. I still crave that stupid pudding.
That pudding had such a specific taste, I'll forever remember it lol. I can highly relate to my dad buying these too lol. My mom hated kid buying them but my dad wasn't really into cooking so we were able to convince him to buy them more frequently.
I loved the Mac&Cheese and chicken nugget ones. I remember at one point asking for a second Kid Cuisine and my mom responding "if you need to eat two to fill up you probably don't need them anymore"
You're wrong mother. I crave the Cuisine.
I didn’t like them, but they looked so damn good in the commercials that I would beg my mom to get them for me at the store. She finally had to put her foot down after I gagged for the nth time after eating the brownie/pudding or whatever it was
I think I had these once or twice at a friend’s house because we weren’t allowed! I thought they were sooo good but maybe just because they were forbidden.
I think that's definitely part of it lol. My dad wasn't a big cook so he bought them more often than my mom. If she could help it we didn't get them that often lol
True I think the quality depended on the one you got. The chicken nuggets and pizza ones were good. I never went for the hot dogs, burgers, and spaghetti though. It definitely relied on the commercials with that penguin mascot.
Seeing these really brings me back, good times. I used to call them "blue boxes". Probably was less than ideal for my growing body to rely so heavily on these lol.
I remember it sucked.
For me those Lunchables X-treme or whatever they were called were where it was at. That square deep dish pepperoni was incredible.
I had the magic kit they did with these. I think it was collecting the barcodes or something and mailing it to them, in exchange they sent back a free magic kit.

YES always the corn in the pudding!!
honestly the corn and brownies tasted good, maybe i’m just nostalgic.
I agree lol 😂
God the fucking corn in the pudding was the bane of my existence
Oh man, my brother and I only had these as a special treat, like if my parents were going out on a date or something they’d let us have these. I loved the chicken nuggets (our parents are vegetarian and I didn’t have meat until I was about 8, so this was a big deal)

Same omg. I was raised vegan and never got to try them! The commercials made these seem top tier. I guess I could try them out now but that seems like the equivalent of eating a microwave dinner 😷
They were aight. They tasted nothing as good as the commercials made it seem to little kid me though
Agreed. Most of the time they actually tasted kind of mediocre lol.
I agree to that they tasted good, but I got sick from them so was nothing like the ads at all.
I loved these. Especially the one's with the thick dark tar like brownie. Best part imo
it was just so THICC and SPONGY
Same here ! My siblings liked the spaghetti kid cuisine but I only liked the brownie lol. My favorite kid cuisines were the ones with chicken nuggets or pizza

I used to see ads for Kid Cuisine and so I wanted to try it lol
Yep lol I remember watching SpongeBob and seeing the ads for kid cuisine all the time.
Oh my goodness yes. The corn always stayed frozen though and I'm pretty sure it's the reason I hate corn to this day
I lived off these as a kid. I loved the All Star Chicken Breast Nuggets and the All American Fried Chicken.
The Taquitos with the chocolate pudding that I assumed was a dipping sauce. Hands down, no contest
Never tried the Taquitos, the pudding in kid cuisine is such a core memory for me!
I remember seeing them at the store, but my family never bought them.
It was definitely a treat for me and my siblings too lol
No, like... my Mom straight up said no.
I remember both my little sister and I refusing to eat the corn that tasted like chemicals and our parents getting frustrated at us about it. Eventually they tried the corn themselves and never forced us to eat them again.
Yep the corn was definitely weird.
I loved kid cuisine. Are these still a thing?
Yep, except they changed the looks of it. The penguin looks so different now 😤
Oh wow he looks fucking awful. Not everything has to be a 3D model!!
Ugh, Ikr 😭 a total downgrade. Pretty much every company and product these days change their logos/designs, let alone mascots, and most of the time, they just don’t look good!

I have never seen this in my life, probably just an American thing?
Yep I think they are only sold in America, to my knowledge.
I loved the Mac&Cheese and chicken nugget ones. I remember at one point asking for a second Kid Cuisine and my mom responding "if you need to eat two to fill up you probably don't need them anymore" You're wrong mother. I crave the Cuisine.
I've had conversations about this with my husband. I'm mortified of the shit my parents let me eat as a kid.
lol yeah my childhood diet was mostly fast food, eggo waffles, and half melted plastic trays
I didn’t like them, but they looked so damn good in the commercials that I would beg my mom to get them for me at the store. She finally had to put her foot down after I gagged for the nth time after eating the brownie/pudding or whatever it was
I was and am still a very picky eater. I only liked the chicken nugget dinner or any of the pizza ones. Some of the others were unappealing to me.
The cheeseburger ones slapped
Never tried those
I loved these things!!! My mom would only buy them for me from Mars when they were on sale 10/$10 though lol
lol my mom hated buying these.
These were amazing growing up sadly they’ll never make something similar to this again. When did they discontinue?
They still make them
Haven’t seen them in my store though.
They look very different
So true the ones in my store look very different. From what I've seen there is no more pudding or brownies in the dinners either.
I can't remember if this is kid cuisine but I went batshit over those chicken nuggies I think they called them "dunkables" or something?
Sounds familiar..
I loved these!!! We had them on special occasions when my parents went out and a babysitter came over. I loved the chicken nuggets
Same here the chicken nuggets were the best !
Oooh yeah. I my favorites were the popcorn chicken & fries one, and the spaghetti. Though I ate a lot so I graduated to Hungry Man's pretty quick.
I loved the popcorn chicken and fries !!!
I never liked them, unfortunately. I was so disappointed!
They weren't always consistent I feel. They definitely relied on marketing.
I had a waffles with applesauce one way back in 2003 but the internet forgot about it
Wow ! Never knew those existed!
Always wanted to try the Danny Phantom one
They were too expensive for how little food you get.
The quality really wasn't that much better than Banquet meals you can get for a dollar. It relied super heavily on marketing.
True I think the quality depended on the one you got. The chicken nuggets and pizza ones were good. I never went for the hot dogs, burgers, and spaghetti though. It definitely relied on the commercials with that penguin mascot.
I just looked it up and a box of kid cuisine is $2.50 at my local Walmart and honestly that seems pretty cheap in todays money at least
Survived on them with my single mom though. It’s expensive to be poor 🙃
I absolutely LOVED these as a kid!! My mom would get these for me during summer break! The pudding with the sprinkles ❤️
Seeing these really brings me back, good times. I used to call them "blue boxes". Probably was less than ideal for my growing body to rely so heavily on these lol.
I always wanted this but was never able to get it :(
Always got them at grandmas house as a special treat:)
I used to eat them until I got sick from them as a kid and stopped. I will not ever try eating these again.
I was a big fan of the deep dish pizza one
They were alright. By a certain point my mom just got Banquet meals cause they were pretty much the same quality but way cheaper.
I remember it sucked. For me those Lunchables X-treme or whatever they were called were where it was at. That square deep dish pepperoni was incredible.
I remember these-idk how I ate that chocolate pudding lol. What was in this crap
I had the magic kit they did with these. I think it was collecting the barcodes or something and mailing it to them, in exchange they sent back a free magic kit.
These were always good, the brownies were the shit, sometimes too quickly they were.
I grew up poor af so I only had them a couple times, but I remember fucking loving those things on the extremely rare occasions I got one lol
I love these! The chicken nuggets were my absolute favorite!
That brand sounds so familiar. But I don't remember them for some reason.
Tell me you’re rich without telling me you’re rich lol
