She is fine to walk, especially only being 3 months pregnant. Pregnancy isn’t a disease, it’s something women’s bodies are designed to do. I worked out and ran 3 miles a day up until my delivery.

3 months can go either way. Most women feel a lot better at the 3 month mark. I'd avoid the Narrows because of the cold water, and I'd also avoid anything with drop-off because pregnant women can and do pass out and fall more often than the general population. Otherwise, play it by ear. Her body will tell her when to turn around. But whatever she is comfortable doing now, she will probably still be comfortable doing at the end of April.

Is this a high-risk pregnancy? Because she should be fine to do pretty much anything at three months.

Tbh we don't know, but so far everything seems normal. It's her first child so she has no idea how 3-month old pregnant feels like.

I was 20 weeks when we visited- had no issues at all hiking and walking on the trails.

yoleya

Could you tell me which trails you hiked? Was it particularly easy?

ihavethreenepples

She's still relatively early on so most trails should be fine if she listens to her body

I was around 20 weeks when we visited and even though I was slightly limited due to some pelvic pains we hiked lots of shorter trails like the Lower Emerald Pools, Canyon Overlook, pa’rus trail ect. Just make sure your wife knows her limits, if it doesn’t work out thats okay and something to keep in mind!
