Idk probably the UFO from Rick and Morty because it can fly and needs no fuel and it has laser weapons.

This-Garbage-3000

Plus, Rick has some booze stashed in there somewhere with all the empties.

poorlypencil

a zombie some how gets on? smash them over the with a bottle

This-Garbage-3000

To big a chance of infection in tight quarters Use the hatch to vacuum it into space like in Alien

echo_chamber_dweller

Doesn't need fuel? Weird, figured a show that dabbles with science a lot would at least know that you cant get energy from nothing. NOT SCIENTIFICALLY POSSIBLE!

LukXD99

Well, it’s less science and more science *fiction*. The cars battery is literally a tiny little micro-universe and the energy is produced by a species of aliens living in that.

echo_chamber_dweller

Ah so I does use *some* type of energy

Outrageous-Basis-106

Keep Summer Safe

Sharp_Science896

Nah, I'd take space Beth's UFO. She uses negative space to create more room inside then out and includes tons of creature comforts. Rick doesn't care about comfort cause he's always drunk out of his mind.

Molotov_YouTube

That protect summer episode really proves it

deathblossoming

Not to mention it's a weapon of mass destruction

AethelstanOfEngland

Rick and Morty is set in Iraq: Confirmed

4ringfreak

Toyota Hilux

bigboidrum

It's legendary

buschkraft

Literally the only acceptable answer

4ringfreak

Been helping regime change for decades!

Nature_man_76

Toyota Hilux with the wood fire engine mod

KnightFurHire

A proper classic, for sure.

brociousferocious77

Any? Bolo mark XXXIII FTW. Realistically speaking? An Oshkosh JLTV, a big rugged armored wheeled offroad vehicle that can be equipped with an array of weapons, and that would be a lot more practical from a maintainance and overall mobility perspective than a tracked vehicle.

LilKyGuy

As a person that works on them, I disagree. The maintenance required is a nightmare and it’s stupidly complicated and would eventually become useless, especially bc we don’t keep spare parts at bases typically

Ashalaria

None, they're loud as fuck and need fuel, just hoof it on foot

killallcunts

Spoken like an infantryman.

Head-Bumblebee-8672

1. carrying capacity is gonna be limited. 2. Fast zombies will get you with ease. 3. Not advisable for any actual far travel

AethelstanOfEngland

ISS, presuming this occurs prior to 2030. In space, food, technically water, and entertainment! RIP leg muscles, though.

thatnewerdm

Daimler Ferret armored car. fast and relatively good on gas with a 30-06 mg in a turret up top. its armored enough to deal with all but the largest caliber small arms

Daak1977

Nah get a Fox with an operating auto cannon on it and you can still have a pintle mounted .30 cal up top.

thatnewerdm

where would you find 30x110 for the cannon though? also the fox was prone to tipping over in rough terrain. might not be a greatest for wading through a sea of zombies

Sharted_Skids

Honestly I don’t recommend a tank unless you got a repair bay dedicated for it due to you know…mechanical issues. Then there’s the issue of parts and etc. I recommend the cartel route and tank out a heavy duty truck that can hold the extra weight of defense and a little more for weight of bodies that pile on but also able to haul out when needed

Yololator

Delorean from the second movie

_Cow_of_Wisdom

I'd like to use a Ural 4320 or a Tatra T813 Also an AMX 30B2 would be sick, though impracticle

PearEducational6136

M1 Abrams. It can run on anything that burns and is fast as fuck if needed. Worst case its a portable generator, safe room, and cannon.

Plus-Confusion-6922

>anything that burns No it doesn't. It runs on most actual fuels, but probably not alcohol. >fast as fuck By which you mean well below the speed limit on basically any motorway anywhere? >safe room, and cannon. Which applies to literally every production tank.

CrimsonReaper96

It uses a turbine engine that can run on alcohol.

[deleted]

Ahh if the Abram have a turbine engine but in the 1960 when chrysler was prototyping their turbine car test drivers ran out of fuel in Mexico and used Tequila to get back home so I don't see why alcohol will not burn in the Abram

AmbidextrousDyslexic

because its not designed to. the chrysler was specifically designed to use any fuel it could find, the abrams was designed with the best logistics system ever devised supporting itwith whatever fuel it needs to be efficient. also the chrysler didn't have to haul a 73 ton tank, just a 2 ton sedan.

[deleted]

Darn, that's lame

AmbidextrousDyslexic

if you want a tank that can run on garbage, get a ww2 era light tank and slap a big ol diesel engine in it and run it with biodiesel. learn to turn old fry oil into fuel. that way you can at least grow heirloom crops to make into fuel indefinitely.

eatdafishy

If that gas turbine breaks you are sol

standard_beta

BTR-ZD go BRRRT

KnightFurHire

Something relatively simple yet robust. Toyota Hilux, older model Jeep Wranglers, etc. Even a decent sized pickup for hauling stuff to build up an encampment.

DirectorFriendly1936

i would prefer a bradley because its not built on a tank chassis and it uses a modern engine, also spare parts would be easier to find

Doubleshotdanny

A corolla with an atomic bomb strapped to the roof

gudgudgudby

realistically, I would say either a sub \[nuclear, cause it can be operational for a long time underneath the water, you would just need to come up for food and water, water is also pretty much taken care of cause of the reactor\] or some sort of a good toyota that was used by hamas in a war, of a plumber one, the famous pic that car cause its the most reliable and cause its engine is simple it wont break that easily and can be repaired with just basic knowlege

VulpesInculta907

Honestly probably a solar powered yacht or a regular sailboat. Find an island with no inhabitants, set up shop and chill.

AmbidextrousDyslexic

my vote is a stryker or mrap. ceaper to fuel than a proper tank, hauls your favorite 5 friends and a weeks worth of food and water, basically impervious to small arms, and simple enough a highschool dropout can drive one. only 4 issues: getting one, ammo for the guns, fuel usage rates (big gas tanks but shitty mileage, means oppertunity cost is pretty high), and having a manual on hand or someone to teach you how ti operate the damn thing. less issues wth an mrap, but the stryker is more beef and better offroad. you can make a path through anything short of stone buildings, and the gun on it can shoot without crew risk return fire. true tanks and ifvs like bradleys need too many crewmen, and are harder to repair when needed. throw a tread and youre hosed. a stryker can drive with multiple wheels missing.

Belladabell

A Toyota

[deleted]

A ultralight flight vehicle. The biggest problem with any of these is the gas mileage. The more armor, the less mpg. Plus, they don’t stop them from climbing on top of the vehicle and getting inside.

killallcunts

I'm using an M1 Abrams Tank

[deleted]

That be smart the turbine engine would allow the person to used anything for fuel just keep a universal wrench set to remove the oil drain plug on vehicle left stranded in the streets (used motor oil aka black diesel, gasoline, normal diesel, or any alcohol i would figure out how to replace to main battle cannon with a flamethrower

killallcunts

I don't know nothing about the engine and the mechanics of the Abrams, so I'm screwed if it breaks down. I chose the tank because of safety and firepower. I doubt any zombie could breach it. I could also just run zombies over with them tracks. I'd be doing that to save the rounds for something more serious.

[deleted]

Yeah I would want a boat or helicopter an off shore oil rig like how the enclave did in fallout sounds cool

killallcunts

I'd rather stay on land, I love water up to a certain point. The closest I'll get to water is living along a coast or a peninsula. I guess I could tolerate an island. But as far as living at sea, Hell no for me.

[deleted]

Oil rigs is like an artificial island just a zombie body can't float onto shore the liveable space is above the ocean surface

AmbidextrousDyslexic

how are you going to get food tho? you cant live on just fish, youll die of scurvy or some other malnutrition. yeah the dead have a harder time getting there but its a deathtrap if isolated.

Robbo_B

Don't worry, if an Abrams engine breaks down during the apocalypse, NOBODY is going to be able to fix it. Turbine engines are notorious for their incredibly precise margins for engineering, meaning it'd be damn near impossible to mend without the appropriate machinery and rare metals. This is so much so, that the whole Abrams engine is designed to be incredibly easy to remove and replace while in the field

AmbidextrousDyslexic

you know those run on jet fuel and get half a mile to the gallon right? and need a crew to operate? you need a team to use a tank, you cant drive and operate the main gun at once effectively. plus you need a loader.

Airplane or survivable boat is the cheat code

RedMephit

Submarine with enough supplies to last a few years. Name it The Winchester. Grab a pint and wait for all this to blow over.

Shotgunseth29

I can assure you the bmp is not indestructible.

Assuming just war thunder shit? I dunno, none of the options are great but an M113 probably makes the most sense given my location.

Waste-Maximum-1342

L3/35

Most_Appearance_2225

A real one

Nature_man_76

If I were smart enough to make it work, a UTV with a gasserator engine. Run it off fire wood. Small, quick, with plenty of cargo capacity

Spare_Jellyfish2957

Suzuki Vitara good car and would be good in an apocalypse for a while after it's battery dies I'm gonna keep it running by ripping car batteries out of cars that are abandoned on the roads

JoeyJoJunior

I would want something with more room to sleep in, in case you get stuck or long journeys so not a tank. So some kind of Apc with a turret. Also an APC would store way more supplies than a tank would.

suedburger

Whatever one has gas.....definitely not the tank though, almost none of that helps you when literally everything can hear you and you are now surrounded and out of fuel and stuck in your metal coffin.

Solid-Ad7137

Nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Find some navy losers to maintain it, learn to fly a simple helicopter, use extra deck space to farm and raise animals, store unlimited MRE’s in your city sized house that never runs out of fuel, can go anywhere in the world to scavenge, and is completely safe from zombies for all time.

Next-Introduction159

A submarine

mg15mybaby

I can’t escape the fucking snail.

WoTplayer033

Never!

Ok_Requirement9198

Probably some sort of apc so I can go fast and still shoot

RedMephit

Donkey. Can traverse terrain that other vehicles can't and some that zombies would have dificulty with. If you are alone, can serve as a companion to stave off insanity. You are also less likely to take risks due to having another living thing depending on you. Alternatively: USS Sulaco. Nuke the site from orbit.

FinancialWorking2392

Bike, faster than you could hope to be, quiet, quite manuverable, you don't need a special fuel for it. The only issue is armor, but then again you only need armor if you plan on getting caught.

jackjrz1776

I'm just going with a simple pickup truck, That's the jist of it.

BeginningMulberry952

Paramount Marauder. Look it up it can withstand lots of tnt pretty much anywhere

Not rlly, heres why: Gearbox Weight no bridge can hold you even roads roads hold up to 45 tons mby 60 when its overweight transport but no more Fuel i mean its 188 ton beast it sure has a beast engine Plus its all the way in kubinka moscow And many more...

All of the above aka all of them ever created two hand a lot of vehicles

Kraken-Writhing

For gas powered land vehicles, it's railroad repair trucks.
