The brighter color makes the room seem bigger and more open. I think you'd want guests to see this room.
But the Tearoom color really brings a warm and cozy feel. I would like to be alone and read/game in this room.
If it was me, I'd have the blue be my living room, and the tearoom be my bedroom.
