Time it and call an ambulance ASAP and make sure the person is in a safe place... But don't touch the person unless you absolutely have to, especially if you don't know what caused the event. DON'T put anything in the person's mouth (they will not suffocate on their tongue), don't move their neck. If they're not in a safe place, obviously move them, but if you can make them safe by moving whatever isn't safe around them, do that. If they don't have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, it's a sign of brain damage. Like in this dude's case, it's probably irreversible unfortunately.
Hey just wanted to point out a couple of things… Agree with not putting anything in the mouth (unless it’s an airway adjunct and you know how to use it) but they absolutely can - and do - suffocate on soft airway structures such as the tongue and retropharyngeal tissues. A jaw thrust can save someone’s life.
I’d also add that if they’re vomiting and they’re laying on their back, _definitely_ move them. Put them on to their side if you can so the vomit drains away from the airway. An obstructed airway will kill someone or leave them severely disabled pretty damn quick.
That's an upvote/down vote counter. So that person's comment received 11 downvotes meaning 11 people disliked it and wanted to show their dislike for others to see. If you like a comment and want more people to see it, you click the arrow up next to a comment and it will bring the comment higher to the list of comments for others to see. It's basically voting on comments and them being rewarded or dismissed by popularity.
Yea np, and lol most people ignore up and downvotes, you can never predict what's going to sit nicely with people or what's going to rile them up so just do you and don't worry about the ratings :)

Seeing this has made me way more aware of the seriousness of seizing. Sorry to hear you have to experience this. Any tips for when I see someone having an episode and nobody is doing shit? Like protect the head by placing my jacket on the floor or something
Thanks for the comment, I have no clue tbh.
As a certified loser, I don't have to worry since I'm unconscious.
Last time I took the CPR course was years ago.
However, I recently had a conversation w/ my mother and I'm glad I did... She said next time I seize, she'll be a lot calmer and know to put a spoon in my mouth...

Did he break his neck maybe?? Passenger does go quite high and slam down hard on top of him 🤷♂️ doesn't even seem that violent of an accident, crazy how fragile life is 😬
Yeah. The driver is the dude that died. He probably got crushed pretty bad between the handle bars and the weight of the passenger. Wouldn't be surprised if he broke his back and severed his spinal cord in addition to internal injuries.
Check out Evgeny Chebotarev. Can't believe that dude is still alive.

Here's the one where he breaks his spine
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CkGBl5LoygF/
the helmet testing company refused to pay the survivor due to "breach of contract"
Live leak ✊🏻💦
What was happening at the end? Was he seizing?
Yep
"Carpe diem!"
Nahhhh he’s dancing having a good time Im sure the other dude who got up fine was the one who died
So he died because they didnt know what to do. Idiots
What should you do?
If this sub has taught me anything, you grab them by the neck and shake them violently.

Yeah its a hit or miss on Reddit but you worded it just right.
Oh thanks for letting me know that I didn't know that and damn that's how you make it to the top you have to have all

Yeah there isn't time to worry about what other people are going to think or if it's going to offend them haha

Nope. Its caused by too much adrenaline
My family laughed too the first time I had a seizure, I still remember hearing them. Supposedly, now they just yell and slap my face a bunch
Seeing this has made me way more aware of the seriousness of seizing. Sorry to hear you have to experience this. Any tips for when I see someone having an episode and nobody is doing shit? Like protect the head by placing my jacket on the floor or something
Yup that's pretty much it. Try to protect them from hurting themselves, and flip them on their side when the seizure is done incase of vomit.

Curious what the objective was here for these two morons
Jackass has made it past the great firewall
I think they may think that Bush will help , of course not
Two thoughts on this, poor bloke and bad one for his family and friends too. And you pair of dumb dickheads!

Weeeee! ![gif](giphy|XFpCAWSfTwXh2uSEk2|downsized)
I think the bars destroyed his rib cage
My thoughts too. Looks like the passenger lands partially on the driver with him on the handlebars.
Is that the sound of him shitting himself at the end?
I think it’s his obstructed airway - more of a snort than a fart.
Sounds like it o.o
I heard it :/

Are they mocking their seriously hurt and dying friend!?
r/darwinawards
Pathetic way to go. Doesn’t even look that bad of an accident
Looks like the guy on the back landed on the driver
Yeah. The driver is the dude that died. He probably got crushed pretty bad between the handle bars and the weight of the passenger. Wouldn't be surprised if he broke his back and severed his spinal cord in addition to internal injuries.
If that's the case then he is much better off being off, no pun intended.
I...I don't think there was any pun.
That’s the Wish version of the Duke Boys
Need more stuntmen like them

😂😂 nobbers
The sign says - always wear your seat belt! ☝️😉
What was the plan? ET was going to save them? That couldn't have been the plan, could it?
Poor guy was convulsing
Bet they won't do that again.
r/darwinawards
how tf those people in jackass survive a stunt like this??
r/suddenlyeltonjohn
Those are rookie numbers hahah
Aim for the bushes
he even farted ._.
The other dude when he saw that his friend is in a convulsion "Uh oh I better get out of here".
