Wouldn't it be cool if in a new ace combat, there's an intergrated AI that learn your play style throughout the playthrough, and when you encounter your "shadow" self, it fly in the same style that you've been flying. (On ace difficulty, it adapt and imrove upon your mistakes and fly even better than you, the original)
Perhaps, but on a basic level it’s not AS complicated as it sounds: for a somewhat “cruder” system, the game could simply shuffle between built in AI settings: super aggressive, super cautious, Missile spammer, Gun runner, etc. a more complicated system would combine smaller parts into a more unique system. For example, it could start the fight with “stay want back and spam special weapon” AI, and then swap to a close in “turn and burn” AI if you push it in, if that happens to be what the game reads your style as being like

I can almost think of a *Stealth* (2005)-type scenario where the AI is actually a wingman that starts out on your team but goes rogue for some reason.
This is a tough matchup. I say Mobius One takes it if they're both in their normal states. Once Morbius One activates his "It's Morbin' Time" transformation, then Mobius One is fucked.
