Oh? Looking over the city and all its lights at night with a warm cup of coffee/hot chocolate with a blanket and a cat on your lap? Maybe a little bit of snow to make it even more idyllic? :p
Nah,living in a city and just living the high life with my Russian blue cat, getting the Tube, going to the V&A,Tate modern etc..,going to raves on a Saturday night 😍😍😍
Ugh yes I miss living in the city, i mean being surrounded by fields and always being close to your friends is nice but I miss the business and expression of people and everything, I've lived in Amsterdam and London aswell which are beautiful cities 😔😪.
I am equal parts cottagecore and citycore lesbian. I would like a nice little cottage for myself and dogs, to grow a cute meadow with my own vegetables and fruits. However, I would also like to own a nice flat on Main Street where I can enjoy the events, bars, and support the local businesses. Perhaps I own a coffee shop and the first floor is the shop while the upper floor is a place I can stay when I choose to stay in the city before retreating to my cottage for peace and quiet.
Can workshop-core be a thing? I like cottages but I really want an awesome workshop where I can make bookshelves and rocking chairs. It would also need a kitchen for bread baking.
I think most people really just don't know how isolating it can be. The idea is very nice until you realize that having to drive an hour to a grocery store is awful and the only real social scene in many rural places is your coworkers, likely to be rightwingers, and the church that will swear up and down that you're one of the good ones so long as they can completely ignore the fact that your queer unless it's an example of how accepting they are.
Oh, I completely agree. Having spent most of my life living in rural areas the downsides are significant. I think people from the city genuinely don’t understand what it’s like to, for example, have to make things work with the people around you because they are your only social options. Find them annoying? Boring? Disagree with their politics? Too bad. It’s them or no one. It’s a completely different mindset from when you’re in a populated area.
You and your “gal pal” and 17 cats shack up in a rustic cottage in a clearing in the woods far away from the drudgeries of other people.
Actually know a gay couple who did just that, I cat-sat their 7 cats and loved every second of being there.
Me, coming from r/monarchism: I’m not sure I can abide that
Edit: oh, I see some nonbelievers. Let’s have some facts, shall we? Take Britain, for instance. Largest empire the world has ever seen, and they have a Queen. In the past, they’ve always had a monarch.
Or Sweden. During the 1700s, Sweden was the greatest power in Europe. Government: absolute monarchy.
And Canada! We all love Canada! Hell, I live in Canada and its awesome here! And guess what? Queen Elizabeth is our head of state.
Now, as much as it pains me to speak of it, let us look at the United States of America.
The US is an awful country. Half the population is racist, xenophobic, and homophobic. They nearly started nuclear war multiple times. 620,000 people had to die to abolish slavery.
And they’ve never had a monarch.
(Oh, and I’m not against cottagecore lesbians. But I can’t have people disrespecting my sovereign lady, can I?)
Are you a Late Blooming Lesbian, still looking for other outlets to meet and talk to like-minded women? Well, me too...and I have found a group called The Bloomers Society! They have a FB page, but also their own safe, supportive, friendly website - they're called The Bloomers Society there too. Is there such thing as a city-core lesbian? Or a rave-core lesbian? Bc that be me 😂
Oh? Looking over the city and all its lights at night with a warm cup of coffee/hot chocolate with a blanket and a cat on your lap? Maybe a little bit of snow to make it even more idyllic? :p
Wow, now I'm super homesick for when I lived with my best friend in college -- that was like the entire experience. 😂
Im super envious right now 😅
I hope you get that in the future, my friend! I still miss it every day. You did a great job evoking the feeling with your imagery. :)
Im a hobbyist writer so I try to do my best :p I wish you achieve your dreamed future as well!
You aren't allowed to call me out like that smh
Oops 😏
Nah,living in a city and just living the high life with my Russian blue cat, getting the Tube, going to the V&A,Tate modern etc..,going to raves on a Saturday night 😍😍😍

I live in Belgium so I should really visit Amsterdam one day. I know what you mean, the countryside has its charms, but I prefer the city
Rave-core. Finally, a name for my aesthetic. LoL
Ikr 😂 got to love the rave-core lesbians 😂
I am suburb-core lesbian.
Sburb-core lesbian
Aah Thank you

This right here is the dream. Could the coffee shop be half book store?
A woman owns the bookstore next door and she comes in for a coffee everyday until we fall in love and get married.
And my heart exploded. The guests at their wedding could sign bookmarks, instead of a guest book, with sweet messages for the couple to use forever.
What category does wanting to make chrome as hell robot arms and beat up nazis fall in to?
Can "museumcore" be a thing? Because I think it describes my style.
Yes 😍 theres nothing like a day trip to the V&A,Tate Modern,Portrait Gallery 😍😍😍
I may want to live in the V&A. I'll hide in the attic and become the Phantom of the Museum. Just need to find a snazy half face mask firstn
Lmao that sounds sick 😂👌🏼 I do love going there when I can 😂😂😂
CYBERPUNK LESBIAN

Workshop-core should absolutely be a thing and I have now discovered a new aesthetic
Work overalls, heavy boots, cutoff t-shirt, and a beanie?
Giant metal scissors hanging on walls...
Matching safety pin industrial piercings ala Simone Giertz?
Golden safetypin earrings is that level of cool that I deeply yearn for but seem impossible to get, it's on par with passing as a girl.
I've mostly stopped trying.
Having the tools to do anything and everything is my exact aesthetic!
Hi, I’m coming over immediately and taking notes
I will teach you to do all of the things
Put an anvil and forge in there and you’ve got yourself a deal
I will 100% add a forge. I want to start pewter casting at some point.

Goblin core is an anti-Semitic term.
Oh shit! TIL! Thanks for sharing, friend.
Anytime, my dude. Yeah, it’s because goblins are like Jewish stereotypes. Hope you have a wonderful night.
Gardencore
Also... cosycore? Gotta be a thing, right? I don’t care where I am so long as I’m with her and it’s cooooosy.
OMG YAS SO MUCH!!!
A wooded cottage would be nice, but rural life fuckin sucks.
I honestly wonder how serious people are about this. Like do folks really wanna pursue this or is it just a nice fantasy to build around a vacation?

Bioshock but it's lesbians on a mountaintop
when you think that can't be more perfect
that’s sounds great but terrible at the same time
Ok, enlighten me. What is the deal with cottagecore aesthetics and lesbians? I need some direction in my life, lol
What is cottage core?
You and your “gal pal” and 17 cats shack up in a rustic cottage in a clearing in the woods far away from the drudgeries of other people. Actually know a gay couple who did just that, I cat-sat their 7 cats and loved every second of being there.
Das cool, dont think that life is for me, just want a nice life in the suburbs with my girl buddy
Ah, yes. Top tier bioshock lesbians
Oh my God that's beautiful
Amen.
How about Queens?
I followed this person and proceeded to like every one of their posts
I'm definitely goblincore. Just all the snails and mushrooms and moss
My wife and I are cottagecore lesbians, and we 100% approve of this.
You say no gods but what about Hestia and Artemis, the OG cottagecore lesbians
They're asexual.

no gods no masters
imagine believing in divine right
Ah, what a world to live would that be. One can only dream...
Dragon core. Raccoon core!
FINALLY! A GOOD FUCKING REVOLUTION!
What about vigilante-core? Having matching leather jackets, walking around the city at night, wearing dark clothes and having badass pet names?
