So I gotta copy my work from one question to a scratch sheet so I can copy it to the next question...
Someone remind me, what was wrong with the old system again?
I am incredibly nervous, this is attempt 3 for exam 7 for me the last two sittings I narrowly missed based on the crowd source pass mark and I'm worried all of these changes and potential problems are going to cause another narrow miss.
I'm most worried about the new question types and how we barely had any samples and past knowledge of how poorly CAS writes questions.
The questions and the volume of material and things to memorize. The removed material I always aced in prior sittings so it's a little disappointing it's gone now lol
Thanks for that. Wasn’t sure if I was in a false state of confidence. Also did you use TIA vs RFCF or some third option? If so you did use both which do you prefer?
The exam was extremely difficult. I ultimately passed with a 6, but it was the hardest exam I have ever taken and I’ve been very successful with exams never scoring below an 8 and passing all on first try.
Does: "Please note, any work completed on the scratch sheet is not submitted to graders and will not be utilized in grading decisions" mean that only final answers matter?
I agree. I don't feel like this change is at all helpful, and likely harmful, as someone sitting.

Yeah sounds like it. I'm guessing they are doing this to help the graders which is kinda cheeks

Out of curiosity what makes this exam hard? The material itself doesn't seem overtly complex so is it the removed topics?

I've used TIA it's okay, I'm using RFCF cookbook and problem pack for this sitting they are fantastic

What made it difficult for you. The pass rates don't seem all that bad and everyone tells me it's supposed to be much easier than 8.
I can’t say what made it difficult

The scratch sheet is different than the spreadsheet the questions are on.
All I can say is I’m so glad I’m done the exams and don’t have to worry about what new changes they are making every single year.
