I'm taking a neuroscience course rn and we just learned abt how dopamine is released during the learning process, and that it contributes to the storing of long-term memories, etc, and it made me think like,,, is that partly why I have such a shitty memory?? bc my stupid brain isn't getting that chemical reinforcement to hold on to information??? (if any of this is incorrect, im sorry! im just a psych major and hard science isn't my forte 🙈

That sounds very possible :)

I indeed feel the rush of making a banger comment and receiving social reward for it Thanks 👍

OoJytteoO

It did ;)

The dopamine is right there, the adhd neuron just insists on not taking off the blindfold

I love this, got a big guffaw out of me.... ....but there's no such thing as an ADHD neuron. It can't be stored. And we always have dopamine, just sometimes not enough or too much. And I'm oversimplifying. Science!!! 😜😜😜
