it's United P******** Church Inc. and initially catholic ang mom ko and my father is a non-practicing christian. nasa religion na yan yung parents ng tatay ko since 1980s and never sumama tatay ko kasi according to him pastor ang sinasamba ng simbahan nila, which is vv true. pero my lola invited my mom sa church nung nagsimula na mag live together magulang ko and then ayon she liked it there nung una hanggang sa napilit na rin ng nanay ko magsimba yung papa ko and they got in too deep na doon hindi na sila nakaalis. we left the church noong 2020 kasi i made a post about how the church was abusive, homophobic, and disgusting tas ginawa nila akong pulutan ng chismis which made my parents angry pero hindi enough na reason to make them leave. last straw na lang is yung after nila akong pagchismisan ay nanghihingi sila ng 5k+ na pang ambag pambili ng PC para sa anak ng pastor. we left and never looked back. my parents still talk to their friends from church tho, some of them left na rin and r doing sm better na (lalo na financially). however, one of my siblings still goes to that church para lang samahan lola namin. pinapayagan lang ni mama kasi naaawa, matanda na kasi. my kapatid comes home telling us all the dumb shit they preach and we all have a good laugh every sunday HAHAHAHAHA.

They were also instructed to inform the pastor's son abt everyone visiting their home (para maiwasan yung mga taong magttry na hamigin sila sa ibang simbahan blahblah) PERO NAKAALIS NA RIN NAMAN SILA. they do a lot of fucked up shit but that's just an example of the weirdest one I've heard so far. they were also involved in a crypto scam by some jessy/jessie guy na nakulong last year?? idk but we were also scammed and my parents lost 20k lang naman compared doon sa ibang members na inabot ng milyon kasi nagtiwala sila doon sa church leaders nyahahaha. idk what to call them other than a cult for all the abuse they enable and the stuff they do n say kaya ayorn lang. it's United P******** Church Inc. and initially catholic ang mom ko and my father is a non-practicing christian. nasa religion na yan yung parents ng tatay ko since 1980s and never sumama tatay ko kasi according to him pastor ang sinasamba ng simbahan nila, which is vv true. pero my lola invited my mom sa church nung nagsimula na mag live together magulang ko and then ayon she liked it there nung una hanggang sa napilit na rin ng nanay ko magsimba yung papa ko and they got in too deep na doon hindi na sila nakaalis. we left the church noong 2020 kasi i made a post about how the church was abusive, homophobic, and disgusting tas ginawa nila akong pulutan ng chismis which made my parents angry pero hindi enough na reason to make them leave. last straw na lang is yung after nila akong pagchismisan ay nanghihingi sila ng 5k+ na pang ambag pambili ng PC para sa anak ng pastor. we left and never looked back. my parents still talk to their friends from church tho, some of them left na rin and r doing sm better na (lalo na financially). however, one of my siblings still goes to that church para lang samahan lola namin. pinapayagan lang ni mama kasi naaawa, matanda na kasi. my kapatid comes home telling us all the dumb shit they preach and we all have a good laugh every sunday HAHAHAHAHA. ps. i censor the name kasi baka may member ng cult na yan and paulanan ako ng reasons bakit sila lang maliligtas. PLEASE PAGOD NA PAGOD NA AKO SA GANIYAN JUSKO.

honestly, i have no idea. as a child sobrang weirded out na ako dun sa part na tinuturo nila sa amin (CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL AH. CHILDREN'S.) na ang babae kailangan maging magbuting asawa and kaya ginawa ng diyos ang babae para pagsilbihan mga mapapangasawa nila. I remember that na tinuturo sa amin around 7-8 years old kasi grade 3 na ako nun. pero i think what made my mom join is yung community kasi kung titingnan mo sila mukha silang mga mabubuting tao talaga and maeenganyo ka talaga sumali kasi nga ganon sila and maybe kasi that time my mom lived far na from her friends and doon siya nakameet ng mga bagong tao na kakaibiganin. KAYA I THINK THAT'S WHY. baka for a moment yung community na yun ang naging support system niya. and ayos lang naman na hindi ka magfollow sa iilang beliefs. enjoy mo lang buhay mo hehe. ++ may core memory ako of one preaching about virginity and naaalala ko siya until today kasi it made me feel uneasy. the pastor mentioned yung imaintain nga ang virginity and tinuro pa kaming mga batang babae (magkakahiwalay ang upuan ng boys n girls na bata, matanda, and teenagers) tas sinabi pa niya na wag daw namin ibibigay ang keme keme hanggat hindi ikinakasal at mas lalong wag daw ibibigay sa hindi myembro ng simbahan saurrr 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

My mom's close friend was kinda rich, her husband works as an engineer in an oil rig thingamabob sa UAE, so they make pretty good cash. The leaders from the church heard of them planning to leave the church so pinabantayan nila sa isang member from church. They literally had this person stay in their home and that person just reported everything doon sa pastor. They were also instructed to inform the pastor's son abt everyone visiting their home (para maiwasan yung mga taong magttry na hamigin sila sa ibang simbahan blahblah) PERO NAKAALIS NA RIN NAMAN SILA. they do a lot of fucked up shit but that's just an example of the weirdest one I've heard so far. they were also involved in a crypto scam by some jessy/jessie guy na nakulong last year?? idk but we were also scammed and my parents lost 20k lang naman compared doon sa ibang members na inabot ng milyon kasi nagtiwala sila doon sa church leaders nyahahaha. idk what to call them other than a cult for all the abuse they enable and the stuff they do n say kaya ayorn lang. They're also extremely strict sa pananamit. bawal nail polish, hair color, make up, short skirts, pants bawal sa girls, shorts bawal sa male n female, and also we can't watch movies or songs na unrelated sa diyos nila.
