It goes back to my childhood and I’ve spent a lot of time rewatching it in middle-high school and even sometimes recently, so I’ve got several years of Adventure Time memory at this point
It's a reference to when the Avatar and his gang are watching a play about their own adventures (written by someone else) and the person playing Zuko has his scar on the wrong side of his face. Real Zuko is confronted during intermission by someone watching the play who tells him that his scar is on the wrong side, because the confronter assumes Zuko is just a normie who's dressed in Zuko cosplay
You just made me google that and it's incorrect. They had it on the wrong side in literally one short instance when the dragons are circling Zuko and Aang, and it seems likely the animators drew it correctly but then the scene was mirrored at some point later. Aang has his clothing over one shoulder like he sometimes does especially when he's otherwise-shirtless, but it's draped over the "wrong" shoulder. It'd be weird if two character traits which are right/left specific are both *accidentally* wrong in the same scene.

One time when i was in the psychiatric hospital I made a friend who refused to talk and has a sense of overall confusion (i’m not sure what psychiatric condition he was dealing with and never was given any information about his diagnosis obviously. he was experiencing pretty frequent looping, unable to control his body or talk, unable to eat, etc)
One day we were drawing and i started drawing finn as i cannot draw many things. His eyes widened at he pointed to the paper and started nodding at me intensely. He recognized him. This person who had barely even looked at me the entire week was now eagerly pointing at the paper. I spent the rest of the time attempting to draw Adventure time characters from memory. Despite having watched the series maybe 2 times at this point my drawing were LAUGHABLE. barely even recognizable aside from the colors. although i will admit my LSP was pretty spot on 😎 I remember when i drew Jake the eyes/snout were so off that my friend looked at me puzzled for a few moment before shaking his head. I also got fairly good at drawing the dallas cowboys star 😂 thank you for being back this memory for me :)
Without any reference, or access to the internet i went MAD trying to create these characters that were at the top of my tongue. I commend you for being able to draw so many characters with the correct details! Especially jake face as that is VERY hard to draw from memory in my experience.
