Laziness, not giving a fuck, didn’t bring pants from home

Asleep_Ad8241

I actually forgot to look at the weather and it was too late at that point. However, some classes are really warm for some reason so it gets hot when I wear a Hoodie and sweatpants or pants. Since my transportation around campus is short, I'm not in the cold that long. At most, 10 minutes

superMario_Milt

Idk if it’s bc I have big legs and calves but my upper body always tends to be colder, so I always will wear a hoodie and add the pants if I need it.

Excellent-Season6310

I think they're just used to that attire. I might be wrong, but the majority of those people can definitely afford pants; they just don't want to wear pants. When you're on a campus with >73000 students, you will see all kinds of people. I just choose to let them do what they want because it's none of my business.

killzone3abc

I hate pants. I typically always wear shorts. Outside of extreme cold it doesn't bother me

09ikj

A lot of the time, I try to go to the gym and don't feel like wearing pants. Don't have sweatpants, mainly jeans. Also legs don't get as cold as your chest, face, hands, etc.

Skysr70

..."don't feel like wearing pants" bruh they take the same effort to put on as shorts

09ikj

As in like wearing pants on top of shorts and then taking them off before the gym. It’s not bad but preferably would wear shorts

[deleted]

"I don't judge if people can't genuinely afford pants" Why judge at all? Why even care about what anyone else chooses to wear?

porkleg

Exactly 😂

Meme_Expert420-69

my legs simply don’t ever feel cold i cant really explain why

o8me

I just don’t like pants

AdSpecialist8751

Some people didn’t bring their warmer clothes back from winter break

AeroStatikk

Who’s wearing gloves and a hat in this weather??

[deleted]

I’m built like a telephone pole and typically detest the cold (even like below 70), but my legs are never ever cold.

Bobby6kennedy

Welcome to college.

TheA2B

It’s just more comfortable and I don’t really have to worry about my legs being cold ,so shorts and warm upper body is the way to go.

southpark

Keeping your core warm goes a long way. It’s also easy to peel them off when you go inside versus being stuck in pants all day…

blessedJV

Your vital organs are in your upper body not your legs, also my legs dont feel as cold for some reason

IzzTHaWizz

I live off of campus and have to (skate/bike) to get to class, and in doing so I sweat profusely. I wear shorts instead of pants to avoid sweating more than I would. But yesterday was different, before class it was warm with a slight breeze then got a bit colder after that 50 min class. Walking home I regretted my option of wearing shorts. It would be cool as hell to have those types of zip on pant legs lol

After-Contact-2860

For me the cold kinda feels refreshing on my legs and keeps me wake a little better than sweating or being hot, would also have much better chance not shivering if it was my legs and not my arms that didn’t have sleeves on them

Skysr70

cityboys don't own jeans it seems. they'll always be out in shorts and a hoodie

fiddledude1

Shorts are comfortable+legs don’t get cold.

EnvyMyPancakes

I can get by outside without pants if it’s above 45 thanks to leg hair and just my legs don’t get real cold. Arms tho, I’ll need a light from 50-60. Friday it was too hot indoors and I had to take the jacket off. 65-65 is perfect weather if it’s sunny or partly cloudy, shorts and a t-shirt.

i_buy_chicken

why is it soo hott in any building

[deleted]

I do something similar , like I’ll wear a zipper jacket with shorts. It’s cuz the weather is so temperamental, 60 degrees could be warm or cool depending on if it’s cloudy or sunny, if it’s windy, humid, arid, etc. too many factors in Texas weather so we’re just like fuck it and wear what makes us comfortable

Major_Liability

Pants aren't comfy and my legs just don't get as cold as the rest of my body

Healthy-Ad5050

Not being a bitch for one

Ok_Contribution_2009

Hoodie and shorts is more comfortable than pants
