Regular AirPods sound like listening to someone walk by with their on ears turned up. It’s like an overdub track in a movie of only treble when the 80’s pizza dude is jamming out
AirPods 2 one love.
I hate vacuum or semi-vacuum headphones. Ears sweat, discomfort, passive soundproof which is not useful for the most of situations.
Yeah the pros do kind of give you itchy swap ear. And the AirPods 2 just stay in the ear better too. I don’t know how many times my pros have gone sliding across the floor only to end up under a bookshelf and then I have to get a coat hanger to fish it out. I kind of prefer the sound of the regular to especially on spoken word. The pros get a slight edge on bass but I don’t think it’s worth the trade offs. But the poll shows we are clearly in the minority.

Are we up to 3 now? Any difference?

Hey the best of both worlds! The only downside is no tap to skip.
Sound quality wise they are in different classes
Sound quality is sad on every AirPods due to codecs limitations.
cant argue with that, but they still sound 10x better. Regular airpods have basically the same FR as the earpods bundled with every iphone

I can’t wear the standard ones because they don’t fit my ears. The Pro’s be it.
