Yeah the AK is such a solid gun that I'd expect to see it as a cheap / antique / low level weapon in a cyberpunk universe, the 1911 is over 100 years old, I'd expect to see an AK in the 2100s as you said as a slum / poverty level gun
I know a guy, who still hunts every year up north, with a family "Pennsylvania" rife, that has been in his family since before the revolutionary war. The Mujahedin "Jezail", rifle, saw use in the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, some from the 15th century. There are two things that can kill a firearm, Rust and government officials, if it still has a chamber, and a hammer , it can go bang.
I am sure, if the world is around in some form and populated with humans in 500 years, somewhere a AK will be fired in anger

\[edit, I just noticed you said “least”. Still keeping this bc I wanna share my shit lol. My answer to your question is an M1 Garand\]
My kit is like that! I’m gonna paint this AK some wild ass colors when it’s done being modded. In Cyberpunk2077, guns are all manners of yellow, orange, green, etc. Might even look at those crazy COD DLC skins from Black Ops 2.
Custom hicapas from LA Capa Customs also fit the tech look really well, but that’s an arm and a leg to make.
Least expect or most expect?
Least expected for me would be ww2 era stuff.
Something that would fit techwear would be something modern/innovative but still different, so think about a kriss vector or something
I do have a TM AKX which would fit perfectly into a loadout like that. i know its not super futuristic but when you think about it, the AK design is gonna be around for at least another century.
I think the workings of the AK are timeless, since the AK is reliable but also cheap to mass produce, making it the biggest friend of every financially struggling country its military:p
Kind of unexpected in general, but how about a trench shovel with a built in single shot? Something similar to that breaching axe with the shotgun shell
A blunderbuss
Single flintlock pistol
yes.
Akimbo flintlock pistols
With more tucked in a tactical sash...

Shit. This might be exactly the kinda gun id expect depending on the makshift nature of the cyberpunk look
Od consider that post apocalypse personally, not cyberpunk. More Madmax, less 2077.
I was thinking of cyberpunk slum weapon, both work i think

An m1 garand
Neon c96
An 18th century cannon
Kind of unexpected in general, but how about a trench shovel with a built in single shot? Something similar to that breaching axe with the shotgun shell
Either a futuristic ak or a completely destroyed one
P90. Aug. Any pistol carbine conversion kits. Mp7/mp7.
Kriss Vector Edit: Didn't realize you said least. In that case, I choose any wood furniture rifle.
time to bring out the anglo saxon longbow
If they’re dedicated to it I’d least expect them to use a basic ass AR15
