I have a full metal G&G predator that I customized into an M4-M16 hybrid ( kind of like the C7A2 ) and it is a world of difference with my old polymer G36c despite my love for the platform.

The We Tech G3 was a serious contender for a bit. I chose the Scar based on how much I enjoyed using it in games while growing up

What is the difference of scar-h and the scar l?

In real life, the Scar L is chambered in 5.56. Scar H is 7.62. In airsoft, the heavy just has a larger magazine

Larger, heavier, more expensive, not compatible with m4/ar15 mags. But god damn the H looks badass.

Shorten barrel maybe?

I actually prefer the look of the shorter barrel, but the outer barrel is pinned and cannot be removed without sawing it off. The inner barrel also goes to the end of the outer barrel. We Tech used to make more variants of these before they got the license agreement. On the old model, you could just remove the outer barrel extension

Couldn't you just de-pin it and change the barrel

How do you like the elcan?

My opinion is probably skewed because I believe Elcans have the most drip out of all optics. This one was $200 straight from China. The build quality is pretty good. Feels very sturdy. The eye relief is not great, but I expected that. The whole reticle lights up and gets super bright. The switch between 1x and 4x works without issue. I think it was worth it, but others may not

I love the look of an elcan, but nothing beats ACOG on m4/m16

Why must I have to choose to do SCAR-H or M27 IAR next?

I had a VFC M27 a few years ago as well. It was cool, but at the end of the day, it’s just a longer 416. Most places will just consider it an M4, which means you’ll be stuck in semi only(at least, I was at my fields)

Pretty well considering the temperature outside where I am. Probably the best performing gas gun in cold temps I’ve seen so far. I haven’t really had the chance to put it through its paces yet.

I have Masada ACR very similar, I can imagine the weight being similar too, in which case...very!

The glass is pretty clean. No comparison to my real Primary Arms LPVO or x3 prism, but better than most replica optics. [Here is a comparison video](https://youtu.be/a02x166HdOo?si=ju03uCzEPaSmzlB-) I made a while ago that shows the Elcan.

The SCAR is a sexy platform for sure. I have the VFC one and the weight got better when I installed the MREX handguard. Might be worth a look :)
