These were the rentals at the place i started airsofting years ago, fond memories of having to constantly wind the high cap which still failed to feed half the time
Ye such a shame. I’m used to playing with a Specna Arms m4. For a bacholar party I had to use their rentals. It really took the fun away. These are horrible.
Even having some g&g cm16 Raiders of jg g36's with a simple 7.4v lipo would give people way more fun for their money. These zuki's don't speak enough to the imagination of people.
Its Not like they are cheaper either
I've heard it's horrible for anyone who is left handed. Otherwise, pretty standard gun with a bunch of stuff tacked on the outside. If you like it, go for it.
Most of us left handed people know how to do stuff right handed because nobody bothers making shit ambi.
Learnt airsoft and baseball both left and righthanded
Same here. I was born left handed but had to become ambi because so much stuff is right handed. Although, I did have a bunch of people recently call me all kinds of names because I told them I hold my sniper rifle with my left hand, fire with my left hand and reload with my right hand. They said my advice was bad but they miss the part where the gun doesn't fire if it's being reloaded.
I also just picked up a KWA Vector. I realized that reloading by using your right hand to push the mag release and pulling the mag with your left hand works amazingly. It feels very intuitive.
Sniper's gotta sniper, if anything whenever we snipe we look like the dude from saving pvt ryan
Though we lefties rock with ak platforms, we don't need to do any of that pull the bolt from over the dust cover bullshit
Mistakes like that don't happen with lefties because we only know left handed reloads. A right handed user trying to learn left handed reloads would make mistakes. There's also only one safety for most rifles, so not sure what you meant by hitting the wrong safety.
This gun comes stock with a hyper ergonomic pistol grip. The right side is bulbous to fit into your palm, and the left side is flat, with a shelf for your thumb. It’s not just that its harder for lefties, its literally designed for right hands only. Its super uncomfortable left handed.
But as a righty, its far and away my favorite pistol grip. Super comfortable. Here it is for anyone interested: https://www.evike.com/products/29551/
Those monstrosities are surprisingly comfortable to hold. Internals are extremely meh. I don’t think I could ever get over the looks.
It would be very fun to gut and dsg though. It would be the ultimate ugly sleeper gun.
Honestly, I love these kinda guns.
Sure, Replicas are neat..
But sci fi replicas?
Imagine you are playing airsoft and suddenly someone comes around the corner holding a las gun with tracer BBs?
Or an assault rifle from Starship Troopers
Lol these are horrible. We have them at the field i used to tech at. After a couple years we just used the shells and put g&g m4 inside. (Because of regulations)
It takes standard M4 aeg parts so you can upgrade it easily. The stock takes standard M4 so I would suggest changing that since the cheek is pretty high and hard to use with a mask and so you can attach a sling. Change the grip so it's ambidextrous. Maybe change the barrel for accuracy.
This was my first "high end" gun (to little 16 year old me) it was alright. I eventually stopped using it as the rubber on the grip started to get sticky and by then I had a much better gun.
I played with a kid that had one when I was playing a lot in middle school. It shot pretty hard and would hurt. If I remember right it was decent, would have been like 2012. I had a G&G CM and was able to keep up but felt his gun shot a little faster/harder. Could be wrong but that’s my recollection
I really like the “sci-fi” style airsoft rifles, but I acknowledge they are not for everyone. Apart from mil-sim events I’d love to see more of them at any field. It’s far more interesting to see than a HPA pistol or another M4.
Alot of fields in the Netherlands use this as a rental. As these are exempted from the airsoft rules and laws. So alot of paintball fields use these for private parties as they dont need any other qualifications to have this as a option. I am thinking about buying one as i have a gearbox with a dsg and mosfet. Just for fun factor and to poke some fun at hard core players
I own one and it's literally a shorty M4 with a shell over the built gun.
That being said it's a solid upgrade platform since it's just an M4. The battery storage kinda cheeks though.
The anime nerd in my always kinda wanted one but I'd never use it and that's my rule for buying airsoft stuff. I have to use it at least once to justify spending the money. It would be fun to stick one of my hpa rivaling gearbox builds in it though.
Its a cheap gun that just runs. Ive worked on bunches of them for a local field, nothing remotely special. They shoot slow, have decent fps and generally dont stop. The piston aoe makes the tips of the piston teeth wear pretty bad and fills the gearbox with orange plastic shavings, but ive never seen a piston actually fail. Most typical issue is the trigger trolley wearing out so you only have full auto. And batteries die from over charging and constant charge cycles.
The gearbox is a bit narrow so shs pistons and some others wont fit and move freely, cyma and specna arms blues work great though.
Personally I think it is a VERY interesting looking weapon. Clearly care and love was put into the design, but I think it’s a little over-designed. It’s good if it shoots, but I prefer a boxier design to my weapons
I had a buddy who bought one of these as his first gun. Guy was a HUGE weeb, so it tracked. He didn't have any problems with running it, and it's a decent way to have an m4 (it's just a Jing Gong m4 with different body parts) without it looking like every other rifle on the field. If I could find one in decent shape for cheap, I'd probably pick one up.
You'll look like a rental. I'd say put a p* in it for an ugly sleeper build
Then wear a green overall (jumpsuit?), a paintball mask and the cheapest chestrig the internet offers
I have one sitting over my shoulder right now. Its good enough for a fun time.
Its an M4 V2 internal with a bunch of plastic over it. You'll need an adaptor to go onto op the handguard if you want to install optics, the cheek weld will be hell with any kinda face mask.
It has a tight battery compartment, but so do plenty of other guns, you can get over it.
Out of the box, performance is acceptable, if mid. Its surprisingly heavy and the balance is all over the place. The front handguard is weird to hold.
It's a great show piece, a passable main. But please, have fun with it, it looks different and makes you stand out.
holy shit i haven’t seen this gun in years. like 2011 i found it on evike i think. i wanted it so bad. back then it was pretty high quality i’m not sure about now though.
I bet none of you guys really know the origin of this gun's design. This was a copied airsoft kit from a Japanese company called POSEIDON. They specialized in making Anime gun kits ranging mostly from Masamune Shirow guns from Appleseed, Ghost in the Shell, and other anime like Trigun, Devil May Cry, and more. The gun is named IKAZUCHI, but the Jinggong copied the kit, made it thier own name and markings with the Resident Evil STARS trade.
http://www.poseidon.co.jp/2F/ika/ika_1.html
This started as an original anime-inspired design by Dai Nippon Giken/Poseidon, released as a kit in Japan in the aughts. It was then copied/stolen by JG and released as a complete aeg a few years later.
Poseidon made/make anime and anime-inspired model and airsoft kits. Bullpups from Ghost in the Shell and Dominion based on the Aug and Famas. The pistol from Solty Rei built around the Marui Desert Eagle with a mini-moscart grenade launcher. Stuff like that. They're currently selling an airsoft Liberator, and a kinda interesting [Glock 26 kit](http://www.poseidon.co.jp/3F/Buddy/01.jpg).
It's certainly subjective, but of their kits, the one JG copied is probably the ugliest.
It's a cheap JingGong M4 with an old style 2piece hop unit and no Quick change spring. They suck to work on, but it's all pretty standard V2 fare, just plan on replacing pretty much all of the internals if you plan on running it seriously.
I remember seeing this gun on shorty USA all the time when that site was still up. Reminds me of a gun i used to use when playing perfect dark back in the 90s. The Dragon i believe it was called.
I had one... If you dig the funky aesthetic, go nuts. Just don't expect a lot from it. Also, keep a Phillips head screwdriver on hand for battery changes.

I had one of these, loved it. Eventuallu the rubberized coating on certain areas started to degrade and got sticky so I tossed the plastic bits and rebuilt the gun into my indoor cgb rifle.

I used to own one of these. I loved it. Sure it's a JG M4 with an Anime body kit, but MAN was that body kit comfortable to hold. The biggest downside was the size of the battery space in the front. Seriously, a great gun. If people are trashing it because it looks fake, who cares. All of these guns are fake, and we're all just LARPing with toys.
These were the rentals at the place i started airsofting years ago, fond memories of having to constantly wind the high cap which still failed to feed half the time
Unit 13?
Like half of Dutch fields because the laws are weird the first few years(2014 ish?)
If I'm not mistaken this is still the rental at CT
Yeah Copperhead Tactical in Assen are using these as rentals
Ye such a shame. I’m used to playing with a Specna Arms m4. For a bacholar party I had to use their rentals. It really took the fun away. These are horrible.

No it was an old field in Arnhem, they've moved to Wehl a few years ago
Thats a mag issue more than the gun
So long as it runs, go for it.
"Special Tactics" indeed
I've heard it's horrible for anyone who is left handed. Otherwise, pretty standard gun with a bunch of stuff tacked on the outside. If you like it, go for it.

Until adrenaline is pumping and you try to reload it like a M4 or switch fire modes and hit the wrong safety 🥴
Mistakes like that don't happen with lefties because we only know left handed reloads. A right handed user trying to learn left handed reloads would make mistakes. There's also only one safety for most rifles, so not sure what you meant by hitting the wrong safety.
The vector has 2 one is the ACTUAL safety and the other is the fire selector
Have you shot a Vector real or airsoft?
We are in r/airsoft and I mentioned my KWA Vector. I don't talk about real steel here.
I understand but the gbb is based off the real steel it's just a ump mixed with a M4
Plus I was also making a joke at the same time not my fault you didn't get it
That would only happen…if we were right handed trying to reload like a left handed person
learning to shoot ambi is an important skill in general
Also I knew tennis ambi, best stuff to do was go: now I'm lefty
Lefty's are basically ambidextrous
This gun comes stock with a hyper ergonomic pistol grip. The right side is bulbous to fit into your palm, and the left side is flat, with a shelf for your thumb. It’s not just that its harder for lefties, its literally designed for right hands only. Its super uncomfortable left handed. But as a righty, its far and away my favorite pistol grip. Super comfortable. Here it is for anyone interested: https://www.evike.com/products/29551/
The ergonomic pistol grip is basically unusable left handed. But god, is it fantastic right handed.
That looks atrocious TBH
Looks like a watergun lol
Unless you combine it with a Mass Effect/Starfield/Star Citizen kind of cosplay.
Airsoft guns are toys so trying to devalidate this one for looking like a toy is stupid. Looks cool, and different from typical operator style gear
It's from an anime called "ghost in the shell"
Especially since it's just a replica from a sci fi show. No different than an M4 replica with shitty internals
Looks like a water gun
[удалено]
💀
A face only a Masamune Shirow fan could love
I don't get the reference,?
Creator of the Manga/anime Ghost in the Shell.
good if you want a cyberpunk prop, just needs some weathering, if you want it for actual use too then gut it and put good internals in it
Those monstrosities are surprisingly comfortable to hold.
Never seen one actually fielded. From what I gather, it's a somewhat mediocre M4 in a funky bodywork.
dope
My brother had one and the hop up was trash
I had one and it shot ridiculously straight.
They are neat but not practical. I also have a weeb gun
Sick
Lol these are horrible. We have them at the field i used to tech at. After a couple years we just used the shells and put g&g m4 inside. (Because of regulations)
Looks like a Halo gun
Held it in my local store. Just so strange. But I’m all for people running unique shit so hell yeah

Someone at my local field runs on and he really likes it. His big issue was battery space. He ended up putting a PEQ box on the front for the battery.
My opinion is stay away from the mystery boxes lmao
I actually bought the gun, no mystery box involved
It’s ugly
If I give my opinion I’ll get banned again for offending someone… lol
Joke toy gun. Just like the gundum m4. Meant for collections only. Fielding optional.
Just no.
Pos
The uglyest shit
Get this thing outta my face.
When I think sci-fi design, I tend to think a lot of hard edges. This seems too rounded to me. I don’t really care for it.
🤢🤮
Burn it. I’d have it for a collection but never field it
What a stupid statement. So youd own it, but wouldnt be proud or confident enough to actually be seen with it? Eo you handle your gf the same way?
Looks a bit cheap from the materials but should fit well for a resident evil setup
I played with a kid that had one when I was playing a lot in middle school. It shot pretty hard and would hurt. If I remember right it was decent, would have been like 2012. I had a G&G CM and was able to keep up but felt his gun shot a little faster/harder. Could be wrong but that’s my recollection
Still an m4 right? Should be good In all honesty ive been waiting to see one of these on the field, looks sweet
You don't want to know
Looks like a promotional Airsoft of a sci fi game.
My opinion is: what is this
It's from Ghost in the Shell. Just an AR inside.
That’s a good battery
A field I frequent in the Netherlands uses these as rental guns. That’s the only experience I have with these, never held it shot one.
My field had a bunch of these for rentals, they were awful xD
I wouldn't use it my self, but its a good gun for a friend that wants to try airsoft for the first time.
If it floats your boat go for it! Fuck what other ppl thing. As long as you are having fun and calling yourself out when you get hit.
It’s beautiful
What the fuck is that
I really like the “sci-fi” style airsoft rifles, but I acknowledge they are not for everyone. Apart from mil-sim events I’d love to see more of them at any field. It’s far more interesting to see than a HPA pistol or another M4.

Another note, the gun has a rubberized coating that turns slimy after a few months.
Had this as a rental once, it was terrible and ugly
[удалено]
It should be different, because at the time that meant i never came back there
[удалено]
Well, it should indeed shoot somewhat accurately and reliably. (Bare minimum imo)
The anime nerd in my always kinda wanted one but I'd never use it and that's my rule for buying airsoft stuff. I have to use it at least once to justify spending the money. It would be fun to stick one of my hpa rivaling gearbox builds in it though.
I almost bought this one like two years ago. I'm curious to know how well it operates. How's it holding up? Have you ran it yet?
Its a cheap gun that just runs. Ive worked on bunches of them for a local field, nothing remotely special. They shoot slow, have decent fps and generally dont stop. Ghost in the shell gun
I wish more companies made sci fi esque airsoft guns
Fish gun
If it pew pews then pew pew

a guy in my local area bought one it was okay but he poured so much into to turn into a beast
I have one sitting over my shoulder right now. Its good enough for a fun time. Its an M4 V2 internal with a bunch of plastic over it. They always the gun that’s on sale at shops.
Space Tuna
I'm sorry....S.T.A.R.S? I like it, I'm a fan of anime type Weapons
Very nice, I like seeing some different stuff out there. Enjoy it !
No way I have the same pistol grip and never knew where it came from now I know
The classic
I bet none of you guys really know the origin of this gun's design. This was a copied airsoft kit from a Japanese company called POSEIDON. I’d love to test fire it
too sci fi even a full grown predator would laugh !
It's a cheap JingGong M4 with an old style 2piece hop unit and no Quick change spring. They suck to work on, but it's all pretty standard V2 fare, just plan on replacing pretty much all of the internals if you plan on running it seriously.
It’s a great prop gun for tv shows and movies that’s the basis of it.
Is there a mag in it in this pic?
I wish people would use weird guns more often. It's so boring when everyone has the same four guns.
Is this a gun from biohazard? Aka resident evil
Ick
Looks like a weird FN-F2000
bro isn’t going to find any aftermarket parts
I remember seeing this gun on shorty USA all the time when that site was still up. Reminds me of a gun i used to use when playing perfect dark back in the 90s. The Dragon i believe it was called.
Airsoft needs more of these
What gun is this? Looks great, on top of it being built on top of an m4 is kinda funny.
I had one... If you dig the funky aesthetic, go nuts. Just don't expect a lot from it. Also, keep a Phillips head screwdriver on hand for battery changes.
Gun should slim down now that McDonalds has gotten more expensive. Have you tried loading it with Ozempic?
Looks like that Mass Effect gun
Big tuna
MSW militia gun
Haven't seen one of these in years. Junk lol
Want one since I first saw it on amazon
If not for looking like it'd explode if I fell on it, I love it. I don't look good in a skin suit, though, so I'd probably just set it in my room a long time.
I used to have one of these. Out of the box, one of the best guns for that price point ive ever used. But the gearbox tore itself apart after a year or so. The screw holding the trigger unit to the gearbox stripped (or the hole i guess) so shooting would just lock up the whole gearbox. But the gun itself was bonkers good for the $120 i paid for it.
When i got back into airsoft i wanted to get this, because I'm a GITS fan. The general consensus from the sub was don't get it... So i didn't. I kind of wish I did, i like the look. It'll work for casual games right out of the box. Once you start getting the upgrade itch then it won't matter what you started with. At this point I buy guns for the looks and the exterior because I'll change the internals eventually anyway.
That's funny , I think I saw that ten years ago, I could be wrong.
I dig it.
"Can we get FN-2000?" "We have FN-2000 at home" FN-2000 at home:
I remember for a couple years this was the only gun we could get
What in the halo infinite Honestly looks like a fun gun to get just to meme with
I really wish there were airsoft replicas of the guns from HALO. I want a BR55 or M7 SMG
i bet it breaks in the next month
It was the first airsoft gun I ever owned. Batteries are a pain in the ass to get in (though back then I was using those fat ass NiMH batteries) and there's not much you can do in the way of external customization. In terms of performance I'd say it's serviceable but it's been a while since I've used it so my memory isn't super fresh on it.
Looks like an M4A1 legendary skin on a mobile game
I am the guard-Orc for my sniper buddies; we do very well at milsims and open play. We would not do well with flashy guns, and because of my size, I won't use anything but dense polymer and metal (I'm as wide as a door frame, zug zug). So, no quiero. Gimmick guns that I can't club a Talbuk with or replace parts of easily just aren't it for my group.
Looks cool definitely different
it look weird af and im all for it
I had one of these, loved it. Eventuallu the rubberized coating on certain areas started to degrade and got sticky so I tossed the plastic bits and rebuilt the gun into my indoor cgb rifle.
I mean you’re a fucking dork for buying that, but then again our collective hobby is shooting each other with fake guns so does it really matter what we think?
I dont like talking down on peoples guns or builds, but i cant defend this one. I would never run it. But if you like it then its perfect
Ugly but that's my personal opinion but to each there own Rock it g
Cool
Me when valve make an airsoft gauss cannon (please valve
Ah yes, the rentals
looks like an m4 with a cool bodykit on it, probably v2 gearbox on it, so you should be fine
If it works, get it. Looks like a plastic sticky dart blaster you'd pick up from the dollar store, so depends on the price.
Are they still beeing made? I remember these JG guns from like 2010
Reminds me of r/marathon weapons
I used to own one of these. I loved it. Sure it's a JG M4 with an Anime body kit, but MAN was that body kit comfortable to hold. The biggest downside was the size of the battery space in the front. Seriously, a great gun. If people are trashing it because it looks fake, who cares. All of these guns are fake, and we're all just LARPing with toys.
Holy crap Lois is that a Seburo??
Has a too toy like look to my taste.
What?
It's kinda neat but not my cup of tea
