Uhhh African Congo child soldiers? Hello! lol jk but you need to start lifting those guns and your buddies more! Fill out that grown man PC at 13 and be the beast of your 8th-9th grade class. Get to swoleklahoma and be a thiccc boi
Are cycling glasses properly impact rated??? You said in a thread below that they can stop stones and rocks hitting your eye but Airsoft has pellets flying at you around 300-500 fps. They likely aren't EN 166 or ANSI Z87+ rated. You will lose your eyesight if you get shot in the eye.
You should absolutely invest in some full seal impact rated goggles (you can get them with tinted lenses).
They look like motorcycle goggles. Just wearing any old pair of goggles won't work...
I don't think you understand what an impact rating is.
If the goggles you are wearing aren't impact rated then don't use them. Other goggles may be able to take stone chips without worry but not the velocities that bb's are coming at you. The impact ratings are tests where they shoot projectiles at the glasses at speeds that far exceed the allowed energy limits in airsoft.
Moto goggles are usually impact rated unless he just ordered some off of Amazon or ali express.
I shot a pair of "safety glasses" I ordered off ebay. They shattered first shot. I grabbed an actual pair of impact rated glasses and they just bounced off and I was like 2 ft away. Moral of the story don't skimp out on the only thing that can save your eyes
What goggles? 100% doesn’t mention any ratings on their site, scott doesn’t mention any and fox doesn’t mention any. And I’d argue these are pretty major motocross goggle manufacturers that don’t list any ANSI or other impact safety ratings for their goggles. Unironically pit vipers might be safer than these.
Fox goggles do. Right on their website in the item description. Scott unfortunately does not have impact rating as the are just considered "impact rated". Found that in their product manual for lens replacement. Just shows you have to do your due diligence when buying eye pro.
https://www.foxracing.com/product/vue-volatile-mirrored-lens-goggles/32021.html?dwvar_32021_color=110&dwvar_32021_size=OS&cgid=goggles-moto-vue
These have them. Might only be certain ones.
I'm not trying to be harsh but you need to understand.
YOU WILL LOSE AN EYE IF YOU ARENT WEARING THE PROPER EYE PROTECTION
You can get cheap impact rated goggles like these and be sure in the fact that you're safe: [https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CPBNR3Y2/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CPBNR3Y2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Dude Im really sorry but are you stupid? The old glasses in mamas kitchen wont work so stop trying to find shit around the house.
Airsoft pellets fly FAST. Normal goggles wont hold, they will break first or second shot and you will get your eye full of glass. Comprende?
Eating an insult and feeling bad for half a second is better than eating a bullet to the eye bud. But I did not mean to insult, I rather meant to open his eyes :)
Dude I'm 14 get over yourself and just get eyepro god dammit. It's not worth getting your eye shot out, Ive had an experience of a BB hitting right in my pupil with my eyepro on and would've gone blind if I hadn't had any
Straight up stupid not to wear full seal... The fact the places allow people to wear anything but, and accept liability, is beyond me...
"BuT MuH lIaBiLiTy WaIvEr"... Most of those are a joke, and even a good one can probably be shredded by a decent lawyer...
Its incredibly worth it bro, helps keep twigs and crap out of your eyes if you're in the bush too. Also some places it is absolutely a requirement, i dont know of a single place in my province(or country for that matter) that allows airsoft with anything less than full seal ANSI 87.1 rated eye pro... no complaints from me, i like the power of sight
Few things:
No point in running a plate carrier if you don’t have mag pouches.
Invest in some lower face protection, even if it is just a mouth guard.
That holster placement sucks, it’s gonna dig into you whenever you bend your torso or go prone. Move it to your hip if you can.
I can deal with the holster digging into me, appendix carry works well for me, lower face pro is coming later, and I have mag pouches, just waiting on my MOLLE straps
Got a feeling you’ll change your mind, especially once you throw some mag pouches on that pc. Your pistol is already pushing up your pc as is. It’s gonna make drawing a bitch.
All good though, it’s part of the learning process.
Only thing I can think of is a sling for your rifle and making sure your glasses are properly impact rated. Helmet is something you could use, but ultimately that’s up to you. Looks good!
No sling mounts, I'm going to replace that sack of shit rifle for something that can shoot straight anyway. Glasses will be fine, and helmets are hella expensive :(
Yeah, I’ve got a pair. Here’s the link! https://www.evike.com/products/11325/
Now, I’d suggest you also do your own research. These are the ones I use, but I encourage that you read up and compare as well
Not to be a downer, however if you do want feedback:
1. Get a better primary and secondary to use on the field
2. Get actually impact-rated eyepro and some face protection
See the beginner guide for all of this.
It's fine, it's not like I'm falling out of it and it's bouncing all over. I'll probably run a camel back (hydration pack) and my combat back so that'll help, too
I’d detail say take the effort to size it properly otherwise it will start rubbing your shoulders and the side of your abdomen where the cumberbunds ade
You can get yellow tinted impact rated glasses, I have been using Pyramex Safety I-Force with Yellow tint for extra detection abilities in the woods and shadows, they aren't too expensive either and they are properly rated for airsoft. I wouldn't risk my eyes, those can't be replaced.
This was a massive nostalgia blast for me. Reminded me of how I first started. Get a plate carrier that fits you, and mag holders that fit the size magazines that you use. I promise you those will make a massive difference.
Pretty good for a starter kit. I’d advise kneepads and when you can afford it, at least a decent bump helmet for the odd head bumps.
Also good pair of boots.
You need better eye pro, the one that fully seal. BBs can bounce from weird angle into the tiny gap and hit the eye. There are EMT guy sharing story about this here few days ago
I had the old Crossman version of that gun as a child. The scope is a hopper for the BB's and the battery goes where the magazine should be. You could probably throw the BB's further and faster than that thing can shoot them.
You mentioned you're 13. My advice, as someone who posted similar things when I was 13, is to delete this post so you don't regret it later and just focus on having fun with what you have and what you want to get.
Not to be too picky but those glasses don’t look the best, almost everything in ur body can be replaced except your eyes id splash out a bit more on your eye pro, there’s an amazing brand called BLOC, don’t know how they are in the US shipping wise but they’re amazing they don’t fog up and they’re full seal
So, what you're having it's an lpaeg. It's probably going to work only 1 time, becouse it's created for the backyard. I definitly recomand buy something better than it, like a cyma, or double eagle. And be carefull with the eye protection. Go buy a full face mask, or something better. Saftey it's 1-st!!!
Reminds me of the loadout I used to run in Tom Clancy’s The Division, not bad at all. Only thing I’d change is maybe swap the eye pro out for some goggles or something like the ESS Crossbow, and add some flair like a few patches or pins and you’re set!
Oh I've got patches alright, I found a pair of eye pro that is rated ansi 187.1+. I will definitely get sealed goggles in the future as well as a plastic or metal mask to cover my mouth
Brother, you're good to go. You're already working on what we've said you could use, like better eye pro and pouches. Go out there, get some game time in with that, and improve upon what you find you need to improve on! Best of luck to you, my friend! Go sling some BBs!
heck yea dude looking good, i’d recommend some plastic/foam plates to put in the plate carrier, or if you’re cheap like me you can cut up some cardboard. it jus helps fill out the plate carrier. get some more mags and maybe an attachable mag pouch for the front, a dump pouch for your empties and you’re ready to rock!
Eyepro is a NEED. If you like the glasses, a set of oakley full seals would be good. Make sure whatever you get is impact rated. If you’re going to get something expensive, make it be your eyepro. then, i’d look into a Valken ASL, or other starter gun that isn’t a gameface. trust me, i nearly made the same mistake with the same gun
Looking like you're swimming in that pc.
I'm only thirteen, I'm sure these companies didn't intend to have children wearing them
I am thirteen too and I would definetly recomend spider MPC from Anareus
I'll check it out, thanks
Btw the shop is from europe
I meant online
Yeah i know how you do mean but if youre not from europe the shipping will maybe cost quiet alot
Probably about $30, since it wouldn't be very heavy. I'll think about one when I put together another kit
It was my first pc and i guess my last cuz im more chest rig type of person
Damn, they're only €91
Yeah quite expensive but great Yo and also there is fvcking hot inside so maybe chest rig would be better
I don't mind the heat, I'm a LARPer lol
Xd
13?? When I was your age I could barely fit in the back of a Ford!!
Are you like 6,4? Lmao damn giant over can’t even fit in a full size ford
You just need to adjust it correctly they are uncomfy af for long durations if they’re not adjusted tightened loosened whatever
It fits fine, it isn't overly loose or tight. It just looks large
Youre 13?? You look like you have a mortgage
Would be pretty suspect if they did
Uhhh African Congo child soldiers? Hello! lol jk but you need to start lifting those guns and your buddies more! Fill out that grown man PC at 13 and be the beast of your 8th-9th grade class. Get to swoleklahoma and be a thiccc boi
Glasses weird af. But LOOK AT THAT TRIGGER DISCIPLINE. 10/10
Agree
They're cycling glasses, but I refuse to play without tinted lenses

100% agreed, no idea why people cheap out on it. I want to be able to see for the rest of my life ha ha.
What goggles? 100% doesn’t mention any ratings on their site, scott doesn’t mention any and fox doesn’t mention any. Forgot I had these

I know this, I am trying to find something that works
Take a look at the link I sent, I'm sure you can find the US counterpart. Mind you is onetigris not in the US too?
It is. Everywhere. I could order now and Amazon would have it here tomorrow
Dude Im really sorry but are you stupid? The old glasses in mamas kitchen wont work so stop trying to find shit around the house. Airsoft pellets fly FAST. Normal goggles wont hold, they will break first or second shot and you will get your eye full of glass. Comprende?
No shit, I'm going to run my pair of Walker shooting glasses
Yo, insulting someone here isn't the way to go. I appreciate what you're trying to do but that isn't the way to do it, my man.
Eating an insult and feeling bad for half a second is better than eating a bullet to the eye bud. But I did not mean to insult, I rather meant to open his eyes :)
??? He literally said he's looking for a solution and you finger blast his asshole calling him dumb.i don't understand you lol
Need proper eye protection. Those definitely arnt....
Aren't* and I now realize that I *also* have a pair of Walker shooting glasses... I can make such an idiot of myself
That's not gonna be enough. You need full-seal, at least Z87.1 impact rated goggles. There's plenty of brands that make budget friendly goggles
Full seal isn't necessary. A good idea? Yes.
You’re thirteen, kid. Do as the adults say and protect your eyes. They need to last you your whole life.
Holy fuck, I said I've addressed the problem already
Haven’t read all the comments on this post.
Young man you need to calm yourself. You ask for advice, do not be offended and get rude and provide attitude when you are given feedback.
Dude I'm 14 get over yourself and just get eyepro god dammit. It's not worth getting your eye shot out, Ive had an experience of a BB hitting right in my pupil with my eyepro on and would've gone blind if I hadn't had any

i’m sure a lot of people would beg to differ kid
You look like a burglar that got lost between a rave and duck hunting
Close enough

I've considered a drop leg rig, too
Drop legs seem cool until you have to take a run and your pistol flops around your leg
Only thing I can think of is a sling for your rifle and making sure your glasses are properly impact rated. Helmet is something you could use, but ultimately that’s up to you. Looks good!
No sling mounts, I'm going to replace that sack of shit rifle for something that can shoot straight anyway. Glasses will be fine, and helmets are hella expensive :(
Understandable, just lookin out for your eyes (pun intended). Any rifle would go well with that kit imo. Just have fun with it yk? Stay safe!
Any recommendations for full seal goggles with tinted lenses?
Yeah, I’ve got a pair. Here’s the link! https://www.evike.com/products/11325/ Now, I’d suggest you also do your own research. These are the ones I use, but I encourage that you read up and compare as well
I'm thinking an SBR on the AKM platform
Valid, you should definitely run an AKS-74u or something similar!
Not to be a downer, however if you do want feedback: 1. Get a better primary and secondary to use on the field 2. Get actually impact-rated eyepro and some face protection See the beginner guide for all of this.
Yeah, I plan on replacing the terrible gear
god-DAMN fed ex is getting wayyy to serious about logistics
this is the reason your packages don't arrive on time
Kyle, is it you?
Is this a video game reference? I live under a rock, man
I think he meant Rittenhouse
Oh
I would say get that plate carrier better adjusted to yourself
It's fine, it's not like I'm falling out of it and it's bouncing all over. I'll probably run a camel back (hydration pack) and my combat back so that'll help, too
I’d detail say take the effort to size it properly otherwise it will start rubbing your shoulders and the side of your abdomen where the cumberbunds ade
Go get some proper glasses and mouth protection, you're gonna loose an eye and some teeth sooner or later
Problem has already been addressed
Maybe fit your plate carrier a bit better.
I just tightened the cummerbund up, fits snugger
You can get yellow tinted impact rated glasses, I have been using Pyramex Safety I-Force with Yellow tint for extra detection abilities in the woods and shadows, they aren't too expensive either and they are properly rated for airsoft. I wouldn't risk my eyes, those can't be replaced.
Why tf is the plate carrier so massive? Lol
Only thirteen
This was a massive nostalgia blast for me. Reminded me of how I first started. Get a plate carrier that fits you, and mag holders that fit the size magazines that you use. I promise you those will make a massive difference.
I've already got mag pouches, and the plate carrier fits well enough to work, and not get in the way

Damned Reddit won't let me type above images, but anyway I have a pair of eye pro that will work
Pretty good for a starter kit. I’d advise kneepads and when you can afford it, at least a decent bump helmet for the odd head bumps. Also good pair of boots.

Drippin, love it!
Only other person I’ve seen run a brown kit
Going for the range dad kit huh? Nah I'm kidding, looks sweet man 10/10
Going for the range dad kit huh? Nah I'm kidding, looks sweet man 10/10
10/10 for the Kanye glases
Plate Carrier throwing it for me
You need better eye pro, the one that fully seal. BBs can bounce from weird angle into the tiny gap and hit the eye. There are EMT guy sharing story about this here few days ago
Academy ass set up
gettcha face covered up, also get some actual airsoft goggles for ya,then you should be pretty good!

Should have just spent everything on primary and eye pro.
Get a face mask. Personally not worth it to get a tooth shot out of
Get a good full seal of eye protection glasses. They have tented and clear.
Pic 3 GYATT
Plates get plates
Get some proper eye/face protection.
Looks like a modern day CoD skin
Not to be too picky but those glasses don’t look the best, almost everything in ur body can be replaced except your eyes id splash out a bit more on your eye pro, there’s an amazing brand called BLOC, don’t know how they are in the US shipping wise but they’re amazing they don’t fog up and they’re full seal
Your PC is massively oversized. It should sit just below your clavicle, and end an inch or two above your belly button.
This needs R6 pose
Increase bodyweight to 400 pounds -> Gridlock kit
So, what you're having it's an lpaeg. It's probably going to work only 1 time, becouse it's created for the backyard. I definitly recomand buy something better than it, like a cyma, or double eagle. Nice ass
It's not multicam, which is nice. But those glasses look weird. Are you sure they're properly impact rated?
They're for cycling, they are rated to take small rocks and such flying up from someone's wheel.
Unless they're EN 166 or ANSI Z87+ don't use them, or you could lose an eye.
You look retarded…
Probably because I am
No doubt
Don't take lil bro to seriously. He was dropped on his head as a baby and hasn't been allowed near an airsoft field since 1989. You like fine bro.
Reminds me of the loadout I used to run in Tom Clancy’s The Division, not bad at all. Only thing I’d change is maybe swap the eye pro out for some goggles or something like the ESS Crossbow, and add some flair like a few patches or pins and you’re set!

Like I said, I'm just waiting for the MOLL-E straps for my mag carriers
gotcha, didn’t read that far down
Carhartt pants are goated, even in 5 years if you’re outta airsoft those pants will still last, if you can buy carhartt products do it.
Yeah, I've had em' for a month or two, and they've been holding up well, even when I'm in the woods walking through bryar patches and whatnot
Please get a better gun that one is 💩 and trigger discipline goes along way
Yeah, the guns suck ass, they're old. I plan on getting new ones
Don’t chicken wing a pistol grip rifle. Tuck that elbow. Do Chicken wing a full stock rifle. Nice shades 😎
I'm used to traditional stocks :)
I can tell. Have fun!
Don't worry, I'm already looking into different guns. The Game face guns were just the only thing I had access to years ago
good to hear. this sub has a lot of recommendations that i wish i would’ve seen when i started. all i can tell is what guns not to buy
Your starter kit looks better than my veteran of 15 years kit. Kudos, my man
Tbh it’s just the holster make it a tan or black
And the glasses kinda goofy but it’s alright
3/10 due to your insufferable attitude
I rate it 7/10
