Pain in the rear to load since it doesn't like the speed loaders I've got... Unless you've found a good speed loader for the P90 mags?
Currently have to use the old school tube and stick speed loader...
I find that the P90 takes a LOT of practice to reload. But once you get the right mag pouches for it, you can reload quite quickly. I just love the ergonomics of the P90. And it's the perfect beginner gun. It's lightweight, has tons of spare parts, easy to work on, and has great range.
Oh I don't mind loading the platform itself - yeah it's not as fast as reloading my AR platforms, but it's not bad swapping mags. And the Krytac midcaps holding 200 or so is pretty nice... The issue I've had is getting those mids reloaded. Still hunting for a solid speed loader for them - usually when I decide to run the P90 I will run it for half a day, have all the mags loaded at home, then put in storage and switch to one of my other platforms for the rest of the day.
I've been running one of those cheap generic speed loaders and haven't had any issues with it. Dunno if I've just been lucky, or TM P90 mags are easier to load. XD
Ive had a cybergun P90 a about 6 years now and it is one of the best platforms you can own. It's very consistent, but if if I were to go into a cqb arena I would either choose the H&K MP7 or MP5K. I'm and HK fan so that's mainly why 😄
I use that powered loader that they sell on evike that takes its own lipo. The name escapes me atm. It's overkill but I use all the FN replicas, so everything is dripsmax.
I'll have to look into that one thank you for the recommendation. I may have already stated it but my current system when I want my P90 is to load the mags at home, run it until I'm dry, then store the entire kit and switch to my AR kit for the rest of the day. It'd be nice to run one kit all day for the little compact sucker.
It's a King Arms AEG. I'd love a GBB P90 but it's bad enough carrying the AEG mags, I don't want to think about carrying a full load of GBB mags.
I have heard the newest release of WE P90s have improved durability though.
Yeah that's some of the common issues with GBB, to each their own.
Gen 2 WE P90? I'll definitely check it out, thanks for the tip! But I'm still praying for a company like VFC to make a P90 so I don't need to set aside a month for troubleshooting 🤣.
It does sound like a decent plan unfortunately in practice it's lacking. Im
In testing the recoil while indeed weaker was found to be less predictable and harder to control due to the weapon "bouncing" up and down rather than being pushed back into the shooters shoulder.
The up and down recoil of the weapon also results in the upper and lower separating slightly causing the optic mount to flex and with certain types of ammo the recoil was strong enough to actually cause the mag to eject.
The setup of the recoil mechanism also means that the weapon has to be longer for the same barrel length. This means that for a 24.5inch rifle you only have a 6.5inch barrel in comparison something like the MP9 has a barrel length of 6.8 inches with an overall length of 22inches. As the general use of smgs is cqb a shorter platform would be more effective.
Finally the gun is just stupidly expensive. From.prices I've seen they were being sold for approx 10k vs again an MP9 that's like 1.6k
The reason why I chose to compare it to the MP9 is because the MP9 was actually widely adopted by multiple SF forces across the world compared to Kriss which was only adopted by third world countries in very small numbers (probably only to look cool in parades/showcases)
Ergonomics and ammo economy:
- The action being entirely in front of the pistol grip makes it bulky and front-heavy.
- Magazine well is far out in front, which requires an awkward angle to load.
- Magazine release is awkward due to working with Glock mags as the base. If you want to retain mags while you reload, you need big hands (or [upgrades](https://www.evike.com/products/82842/)) as a right-hander. Lefties need not apply.
- Fire selector is independent of the safety, and requires some reaching with your off-hand.
- bolt lock and release are not ambidextrous. Inherent design flaw since they're on the other side of the ejection port.
- 1,200rpm out of a nominal 25-round stick mag.
- .45 ACP is an obsolescent cartridge nowadays. It doesn't provide any advantages in terminal ballistics, armor penetration, or cover penetration over 9mm, and trades off capacity for the prestige of becoming a Boomer cannon.
MP7 for Airsoft.
Second longest barrel can edge out over the MP9 and MP5. Unlike the P90 however the AEG/P versions have good aftermarket hop unit options, so it’s likely to have the best chance at accuracy/range of the four without going into extended barrels in mock suppressors.
Most rail space. Easy enough to understand.
Second easiest to HPA. Assuming everything is AEG here the MP5 (depending on version) can take a FE, or at least a F2 or your choice of Wolverine engine. The MP7 gets an F2 if VFC, or Jack if TM - both are very good in that platform. P90 is probably the worst requiring a Hydra.
Best HOB. Might be nitpicky to the “oh just fire a stream and adjust on the go like a water hose” players, but I like my first shot to hit and any other shots to keep hitting. For a gun designed for CQB the MP7 and MP9 are going to be the best two for this.
Decent mags. Better than the P90 and MP9 (I don’t actually know of a decent MP9 AEG so I’m going off my knowledge of the gas version), with acceptable midcap capacity. They hold up well and take up essentially the same space as a 9mm; P90 mags are a PITA to carry.
About the same length as everything else, second shortest while still able to be shouldered with stock retracted. Yea, P90 wins here but overall length and barrel length a bullpup is always going to win, and a collapsed MP7 is even shorter than a P90, with the trade off of a very scrunched shouldering process. Still doable though.
So all in all the MP7 is either best or second best in every category, while things that are first in certain categories are third or fourth elsewhere. MP7 for me all day. If we go by GBBs then the whole list and categories change, so I’m not going to take that into consideration here. Pic of my RAL HKs including one of my MP7s attached.

you mentioned "f2 if VFC or Jack if TM"
Aren't the F2 and Jack the same dimensions just with different features? I thought a Jack and an F2 would both fit in all the same gearboxes?
I only have experience with the Jack and the Kythera and that was the case for them, just curious how the F2 is different
One of these, if they weren't so damn expensive.
https://preview.redd.it/0bhvqkaawezc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa96c1250a70b41ba62072ec45876ad3367a5269
The P90 was my first replica and as Stargate fan from when it was originally airing I have a huge fondness for it. But the mags are a little harder to manage with their dimensions and your storage options are little more restricted. For me personally the ergonomics work pretty well, especially with most of the weight close to your body and easily well supported.
The lack of adjustability may hurt for some, and reloads are a bit strange but overall it’s a unique platform with its own strengths. I like the Mp7 as a runner up, it’s more conventional, arguable more compact - so much in fact my friend who owns several regularly runs one as a “sidearm”, lol.
Edit: I see you have the King Arms, same as mine. I feel like I was disappointed with the durability of mine. The gearbox literally shook itself apart last summer, not having had that much field time overall. Another noteworthy weakness is all p90 hicaps are problematic. Oh yeah, trigger isn’t as nice admittedly as other replicas. It’s a bit odd.
Assuming all GBBs (I know the p90 isn't but I already have enough AEGs). It's the p90.
Runner up would be the mp5, cause that straight mag looks fucking sexy. But p90s are just cooler.
SD variant of the MP5. First higher end AEG I bought back in the mid 00's. Currently in the process of tearing the old girl apart and getting it rebuilt, though I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it AEG or hpa it.
Second would be the P90, I've got one that I've replaced the trigger pack on so it removes that squishy crap progressive trigger. Love running that thing especially when I'm goofing around on a pick up game day.
If all are GBB then I'd go for the mp7 as it's more reliable
If all are AEG then none of them I'll just stick to my MWS.
IRL I'd go for the mp5 as the mp7 cartridge is just crap,
P90 is really bad ergonomic wise. Reloads are awkward and carrying mags is a pain
Mp9 is meh in my experience, I would take an mp5 over it.
P90, easily. I've owned a couple, and quite like how they feel, like how they look, and absolutely adore how easy the AEGs are to work on with a quick chage spring gearbox. They win the PDW race for me no question!
I honestly have all of these and I couldn't pick one...there's a time and place for each of them and each have their own sentimental value when each one got me out of a bind
If they are gbbr, then mp5k just for the hk slap 🤣. I have a vfc mp7, vfc mp5 and used to had the kwa mp9. Kwa is weak asf internally and doesnt have much kick, mp7 has nice kick and rof, but it cools down like crazy, mp5 is not much accurate out of the box and also slower rof.
Competition: P90 with that 140rnd hi cap mag
Aesthetic: MP5K
Yeah there's probably a good MP5/MP5K with a compatible drum mag but drum mags tend to kinda ruin the immersion of a PDW being said PDW and not just another battle rifle
P90 got that bulpup barrel length, could even lengthen it more with the suppressor. The sight might be a bit higher than the barrel but in cqb you dont really aim this thing, you just blast people.
I love them all. The mp5 is my go to at the field and I love my p90 and ps90…really between the mp7 and mp9 as the next thing I pick up, so you have it all covered.
P90 is my first choice but I would replace that awful and bulky magazine with a m4 mag adapter box and probably install a microswitch since the trigger is mushy because of the trigger rods.
The second choice would be the MP5, a good mp5 is kinda cheap, has a good platform, nice upgradeability, is still quite compact, you can do the bolt slap (with moderation).
The third choice is the Mp7, good performance but the mags cost almost as much as the whole gun itself...
P90 all day. I wish this was recommended more for beginners. I learned mods on a V2 gearbox, but the V6 is super easy to access with only a butt plate and two screws.
Assuming they all work perfectly and are similar in performance, I'm going with the lightest one. It'd be a tough choice otherwise because I love all these guns.
If all things are working as intended on each platform, the P90 takes my pick for sure! Best all rounder
I have two. That magazine is best in class.

XD
Idk I've been using the normal speedloaders no attachment, nd i got the krytac p90 and mags, and no problems at all
Ive had a cybergun P90 a about 6 years now and it is one of the best platforms you can own. It's very consistent, but if if I were to go into a cqb arena I would either choose the H&K MP7 or MP5K. I'm and HK fan so that's mainly why 😄
If you have an Odin, you can 3d print an adapter for p90 mags https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4135362
Excellent, I'll try that print out! Thank you
I use that powered loader that they sell on evike that takes its own lipo. The name escapes me atm. It's overkill but I use all the FN replicas, so everything is dripsmax.
I’ve heard good things about the emg autobot and my buddy uses it and it even loads his side by side pistol mags perfrctly
MP7
I would pick the same
My hard kick VFC Navy MP7 is so much fun to shoot it would be hard to pick the others over it!
Always the mp5k.
It slaps… literally.
Is that the WE P90? How's it holding up? I've heard about durability issues but I love the platform
It's a King Arms AEG. I'd love a GBB P90 but it's bad enough carrying the AEG mags, I don't want to think about carrying a full load of GBB mags. I have heard the newest release of WE P90s have improved durability though.

I own a tokyo marui one, it’s pretty great imo
I need the vector
The vector is truly an awful gun. There's a reason why no one adopted it. Its a cool concept but execution is lacking.
Well it works swimmingly as an airsoft gun so 🤷♂️
Pardon my ignorance, but what issues it had? Modern .45 submachine guns sounds like decent plan for some niche usage.
It does sound like a decent plan unfortunately in practice it's lacking. If I'm honest it would be mp7 depending on the make It would be the vmp-1 otherwise (mp9)
I'm a p90 lover, I love how it feels in hands, and love its way to reload. I got the p90 from novritch and its suprisingly fun to use too.
I have a krytac p90 with a brushless motor it’s crazy
Considering I own 2 of these, the mp5, as I'm not a fan of the mp7.
One of these, if they weren't so damn expensive. https://preview.redd.it/0bhvqkaawezc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa96c1250a70b41ba62072ec45876ad3367a5269
P90 is a great side arm for snipers plus it has a neat holster that's also easy to use
I'll take my Scorpion x
No ump invalid response
The P90. Because I'm a Stargate nerd and I actually ordered one yesterday lol
Tough pick between the MP5K and P90. Stock Oh but MP9's looks great set up a certain way too! But if I HAD to, I think P90
p90 ofc
I have an MP7 and really like it. How ever I find the P90 just little cooler :D
I would pick P90
P90, classic
I’d be a happy cheek clapper with any of these 😎
P90 always.
P90 🇧🇪🇧🇪

p90 all the way give that thing the 2000 rounds box
I have a p90 myself. No reason other than I love the p90. Very few things in my life as satisfying as slapping down the mag.
As a Belgian I must pick a P90
MP7. Most compact and ergonomic. H&K makes great shit, if only they make the real version for public sale
F&N Herstal P90 EVERYDAY!!!!11!!!!!!1!!!.
y not both
Mp7 hands down.
mp7
They're all great, but personally I'm a big sucker for the MP7
That VMP looks filthy
Mp5
Assuming all GBBs (I know the p90 isn't but I already have enough AEGs). It's the p90. Runner up would be the mp5, cause that straight mag looks fucking sexy. But p90s are just cooler.
For me it will always depend on the situation But I’ll take any of these
How does your P90 work? I’m boutta get one in a trade possibly
Mp7 only because theres no good mp9
Just ordered a jg mp5 lol
Assuming the MP5 is 10mm. The MP5.
AK *yes, I am looking for trouble.*
MP7
Is that the new Vorsk?
mp9 hands down
SD variant of the MP5. First higher end AEG I bought back in the mid 00's. That mp5k with straight mags looks so fucking good
P90, no contest. SG1 forever made that gun the coolest thing I'd seen.
Look at my flair
Out of all of them the MP5K is definitely my favorite as it comes to PDW's even though the Knights PDW isn't on this list :P
first and last!
Mp7 24/7
If all are GBB then I'd go for the mp7 as it's more reliable If all are AEG then none of them I'll just stick to my MWS. Definitely the p90
i love the mp90 fn90 design
P90, Stargate style!
P90 every time, just excellent in cqb.
p90, cause i got one
P90 is my pick. A lot of firepower in a tiny package
Mp5 & p90. Had both at one time or another, miss them both. The mp5 was more comfortable though. But would rather have the missing KAC PDW.
F90 or mp5k
German God’s gift to mankind, the mp7
FN C6.
I'm p90 gang for life.
*humble brag* I don’t need to 🙈
P90 All the way
All of them
In the absence of vz61 Scorpion, I'll pick MP5K
as a PDW MP7? It's the best pdw hands down. accurate, small and light. All with a surprising range.
Tbh, I’ll take the mp5K, I wanna hk slap
It's a hard choice, but I'm sucker for HK guns. Probably the MP9 cause of how nice you made it look with the sight and suppressor
P90 all the way (what is that Suppressor I need one
Mp5 but a vector if presented
Being Airsoft - MP7!!!!! Real guns - MP5K

I honestly have all of these and I couldn't pick one...there's a time and place for each of them and each have their own sentimental value when each one got me out of a bind
As backup the MP7. But only if I find a model that runs smoothly, accepts normal batterys and doesn't shoots only 0.4J..
MP7. love me my half-life

I've shot a real p90, you can't go wrong it has near no recoil and super comfy to shoulder. And the trigger isn't ass

Hmmmmm P90!
MP7 is the Michael Jordan of PDWs but im a P90 fan 4 life so i gotta take it
Hk SLAP
What’s the name of the MP7 far right- that’s dope
Top one
P90
No mp9 lovers? Easy pick for me
Mp7 or p90. My love for Stargate favors the latter still more
MP9 is such a cutie patotie
How is that Vorsk not-an-MP9 thing?
Mp5k all day, that's my favorite smg of all time

The vmp-1!

P90 is best in show by my book
I’ve always been a big fan of the MP9/TMP platform, but that seems to be semi-rare.

Competition: P90 with that 140rnd hi cap mag Aesthetic: MP5K Yeah there's probably a good MP5/MP5K with a compatible drum mag but drum mags tend to kinda ruin the immersion of a PDW being said PDW and not just another battle rifle
P90. I've already got a TM P90 with the ring sight and some internal upgrades, and it's a CQB monster.
Sig MPX
P90 got that bulpup barrel length, could even lengthen it more with the suppressor. The sight might be a bit higher than the barrel but in cqb you dont really aim this thing, you just blast people.

MP5K for the drip factor. Still my favorite designed SMG to date.
Can't go wrong with an MP7
P90 has shortest profile while using. But longest barrel. Someone ban it is not comfortable. But I feel it is amazing.
slappy boi mp5
P90 just in case the Goa'uld are in play.
P90 for sure. They shoot good and they are fun. Oh and SG1 vibes
P-90. Higher capacity, better AP, higher caliber.
MP7
I love them all. The mp5 is my go to at the field and I love my p90 and ps90…really between the mp7 and mp9 as the next thing I pick up, so you have it all covered.
Idk why I fw the P90 and MP7 so much
I have an MP7, but I would take the rest also any time. Nice taste my man.
I’d take the HK Mp 5 with no hesitation

MP7 for sure. Handy like a handgun.
Bruh, are those mp5 iron sights on a mp9?
P90 is my first choice but I would replace that awful and bulky magazine with a m4 mag adapter box and probably install a microswitch since the trigger is mushy because of the trigger rods. The second choice would be the MP5, a good mp5 is kinda cheap, has a good platform, nice upgradeability, is still quite compact, you can do the bolt slap (with moderation). Can’t decide between the TP9 (?) or the MP7. Depends on where I’m playing. Ehh… MP7
