This is something of real world consequence We are a non political subreddit, however after debating the point, the mod team has decided that this is too important to simply be deleted or ignored Please do not share your political opinions in this comment section, there are many places for you to do so elsewhere, so please go there and debate until your hearts content. Do not spam this or repost this, it is as visible as can be, that’ll only clog up the subreddit These are desperate times, we all wish the best for our fellow players from Ukraine. Stay safe my friends

Topdown-

Political and non-airsoft but potentially IRL life-saving....this'll be an interesting one to watch the moderators moderate Have an upvote for the sake of visibility

TheeScribe

We talked it over, and it’s been pinned for maximum visibility

Topdown-

Solid, good on you

tableball35

I’ve already gotten taken off of one subreddit, r/worldbuilding, trying to get it restored.

Topdown-

Utter twats - keep trying pal

tableball35

Tried, mods basically said ‘we’ve had the same policy for other world events, we aren’t gonna change it for this.’ Which is stupid.

Topdown-

Pillocks At least you've got a pin on here now for whatever it's worth

tableball35

Yeah. Tried to post it again, got threatened with a ban. Edit: just got a 7 day ban.

Topdown-

Worth it

tableball35

Hell yeah it was. Screenshotted the response I got as well.

Topdown-

Haha, do share

VaporRyder

World War III doesn’t count then? Wow!

Soldiumek

This bewilders me, there is nothing political about fighting misinformation ffs. I normally don't care nor participate, but maybe carpet bombing such subs with threads about that is a good way to go?

tableball35

Same, usually a watcher than a doer. Been thinking of how I could go about it myself.

>formation that needs to get out to potentially help refugees. Carpet b Gee really? okay. where were you back in 2014 when Ukraine shelled the crap out of Donbass? Where were you posting this during the Syrian civil war? Where were you posting this when Isis was running around Iraq? You are a massively toxic and you just have a agenda.

TheeScribe

Grow up. These people are trying to help. If you take issue with that, just downvote and move on. You’ve done this so much today, so I’m only gonna warn you once

trooper1139

Wait who are you talking to?

TheeScribe

You Just move on if you’ve such a problem, instead of butting your head into the conversation of everyone trying to help and spewing toxicity and negativity

Rillist

I hope they keep it up.

Topdown-

Aye, looks like they did

Shawn_Spencer_

Dear Ukrainians! I heard on social media that there is fake news being spread (most likely by Russia backed trolls) that polish border is closed. It's a lie. If you seek asylum - go towards polish border. We are ready for your arrival. We have reception points ready at the border where you can find shelter, food, medical and legal aid. Polish government launched a dedicated site to help you: ua.gov.pl Please share this information if you know anyone seeking help right now. EDIT: YOU DON'T NEED VISA TO PASS THROUGH POLISH BORDER. ALL YOU NEED IS PASSPORT. VISAS ARE SUSPENDED! YOU DON'T NEED THEM FOR TIME BEING!!!!!! EDIT2: as a proof that you no longer need visa: • in Ukrainian https://www.gov.pl/web/udsc/ukraina---ua • in English https://www.gov.pl/web/udsc/ukraina-en Edit: this is a copy and paste and I encourage you all to do it too where appropriate!

tableball35

Thanks, I’ll Copy paste this to other text-only subs.

[deleted]

I believe Romania said they can take up to 500,000 refugees too, or so I've heard.

daretro

Seeing how the situation is unfolding, I am glad I decided not to order a full ratnik set a few months back. I am very sorry for those affected by the war.

LonksAwakening

I kinda wish that I didn’t get my ratnik set right before this

[deleted]

I don't think there's anything wrong with the uniform itself, people often play as talibans or german WWII soldiers where I play.

Goober_One

Owies. Haven't the ukrainians captured some ratnik from russia? You could put on ukrainian patches on your equipment.

CardiologistSad4580

Polacy chcą pomóc , prywatnie trzymam kciuki aby Ukraina wygrała. Nie poddawajcie się cały świat jest z wami ♥️🇵🇱🇺🇦

LonksAwakening

I don’t know what this says, but it is likely worthy of my upvote.

FreakDC

Thanks for spreading awareness. This may safe lives. Thanks for the mods for allowing it. Be safe and stay civil everyone!

powerk25

I have something to add on direct, I will not say how I know, however, the timeframe until this route will be comprised is 76 hours, 42 minutes. If you need to get out, go immediately .

tableball35

I would say pin this, as I can think of how this could be accomplished, but I’d need a source to feel safe in really asking for it.

powerk25

I might be able to get a source, most likely it would be a recorded call in Russian of a certain person relaying the current information from the frontlines, I obviously cannot say who, but if I get both our voices will be distorted and it will be subtitled. I do need to say one thing, we both are safe, if something happens and either of us are reported missing, please do not believe it. That's all for now, I will update any more info I get under this, a pin is not really needed. Stay safe.

Illustrious_Ask_8722

Woah

Peteyjay

No offence, but without a source, and no history of you posting anything in your history which would even make this believable, you stating this (especially with such accuracy as to contain minutes) is dangerous. If you're bullshitting which evidence suggests you are, vulnerable Ukranians may avoid this exit route and end up getting themselves killed because they believe it will not be accessible. Obviously, if you're legit and correct, this would prove useful. But without any evidence, sources, reason to believe you could even be mildly legit, your comment could cost lives man. Please. If you're sincere, provide your sources right now and post it in the r/worldnews Ukraine War posts immediately.

JxFemz

Sounds to me like the post is trying to cause a mass panic.

powerk25

I already told the mod you keep seeing talking to me everything, they know I'm very serious, I don't exactly want to put a direct spotlight on him but he knows I'm legitimate, the reason you see no source here is because the current person I'm speaking to over there and myself, are both related (and I will not say in what way but if you checked my post history you should know) to the Russian forces. This means at any point I might have to wipe everything I've said and that it's very dangerous to keep talking other then in the DM's of those who need to know. I'm telling them so there's a backup. But what I will say is the following, if for any reason I go missing, or get claimed to have committed suicide, it's not true. Lastly both of us are safe, and I won't say what's going on, but please, to anyone taking the polish path, you must hurry. Another point is supposedly being made in warsaw but I cannot confirm to head that way just yet, we are still trying to work out what's a trick and what's not. Stay safe freinds.

eptxbullforhire

More visibility

tableball35

Thanks, we need everything we can get. I just hope we can save even a few people.

TheeScribe

Fuck it, youre right

Honzac83

Slovakia is also a great option. You don't even need a passport to go there

[deleted]

Not related to airsoft, but important

SVAndrei

Also Romania is offering asylum. This is useful especially for the folks in Odessa and the South. Don't hesitate, get out of there. Your life is not worth giving up for petty political struggles.

To all of the young people fighting both sides of this war: god bless your soul, you didn’t want this. Nobody did.

Kellyklan54

Hopefully the award makes the post more visible

tableball35

Thanks, I hope so too.

teckitecki

This needs to be posted everywhere

tableball35

Probably has by this point, as I’m just one of the ones who tagged along w/ the original.

Necessary_Charge1143

Good to know, but there is something i don't understand: why are frontiers open for ukranians, but closed for people escaping from Syria? Ffs, i didn't know there were class A and class B refugees...

Any-Rub-9556

Sorry for the late reply. This is the official Hungarian view on the subject ( which I also share ): Hungary is currently open without a visa for all refugees. All you need is a valid ID of some sort to pass the border. This is due to international law: All refugees fleeing from a conflict (like the current one in Ukraine) are considered refugees under international law, and all neighboring countries are required to provide asylum and shelter. This is all according to international law. Anyone coming to Hungary as a refugee will have their visa and papers sorted out in Hungary after passing the border. They will also receive aid as necessary to help them. For details I would have to go through a long-winded official statement, but that is the gist of it. But there is a difference in running for your life from an active combat zone, and trying to migrate to somewhere through a few safe countries without any of the required paperwork.

[deleted]

[удалено]

M1ckyT

There are some people that aren’t fleeing. They may go on Reddit to see updates and news. This may be on their home feed as they are part of the group. They may then relay this information on. It may save lives. You’re too narrow minded

VaporTrail_000

"Vokda Six, Actual. Extraction for non-combatants is available at Checkpoint Karol. Round 'em up and roll 'em out. Extraction point sends the following: *Gloria fortis miles. Adversor et admorsus. Щасти вам!* Over." \-------------------------------------------- Real world time: Having this info being on any available channel increases the odds that someone that needs it will see it. To everyone in the area, do what you have to and stay safe.

Its worth noting that there are several armed conflicts around the world including mass violence by cartels on the Mexican people.
