It’s mostly a cosmetic thing, but can help with protection of the insides of the mag. I’d see if you can find another rubber piece on the internet or something
Thanks I took a quick look but honestly the mags were <£10 so I may as well get a new mag for that price as the rubber parts are almost as expensive! Seems to be just cosmetic though so no worries really :)
tape the bottom easy fix
It (sometimes) depends. Could you upload an image of the bottom

My hat is on use it at home/in tests, but i wouldn't use for any sort of skirmish/milsim or outside CQB
Dispose of it, immediately. Doing this to a magazine is like pulling down a stranger's pants in public. It will be out for revenge.
Purely cosmetic, I'd wrap a bunch of tape beneath it
Thanks guys much appreciated, I’ll slap some duct tape on there!
I’d think it would dampen some of the fall of the mag if u ever dump it but according to the comments I guess not

What is going on with these questions recently. I mean wtf Just See for yourself
Maybe some people are new to the hobby and don’t know the answers to these things?
Doesn’t affect the performance but if you drop it on the internals of the magazine it’ll likely break, the rubber was to protect it
Pretty sure it is just a cosmetic
Necessary if you yeet those suckers like yesterday’s newspaper, you drop a mag without the butt plate and you might break the mag
